"OMG! Mother you are stunning!"
Laughing at her son expression that was fast followed by his siblings frozen bodies, Katiandra chosing the to not respond right away kissed them all before taking her seat at the other end of the table to take her breakfast, it was a routine that kept the semblance of the perfect family going on.
"Dad you are in trouble!"
Alfred countered looking at his father whose eyes never left his wife body, the conversation they had the previous night playing in his head. Downplaying it with a false smile he shook his head playfully meeting his wife sly smile. She was clearly enjoying it.
"What are you talking about dears? Those clothes were in my dresser far longer that I can remember. You all know I love you father enough for him to not feel threatened. Right darling?" The sweet smile she made him could have fooled him and did as he smiled back not lost in it.
"Yes my love. Now stopped bugging my beautiful wife and eat your breakfast, I hope your wife will look as good as her AND I want handsome sons in law for you ladies."
Noddind at their dad as they were daddies sons, the men laughed at his manners eating theirs foods, while Kayley rolled her eyes Alicia not minding the last words of her father. She knew that as long as her olders siblings was not married it was not her problem to worry about.
Smiling at her mother still stuck on her choice of clothes. She shook her head, the woman was really her role model. Before she could said her usual " if you have finished we can go" Alicia was already up a sheepish smile on.
"I won't make you late today Mom! Ah I'm not that hungry."
Following her outside they entered in the car as the doors was already opened for them.
"Ohh, I forgot to take my scarf yesterday, it should be in there."
Looking around for the item she saw nothing pondering where it could have gone, her eyes met her daughter's worried ones it was something that happened before, which made her afraid about the outcome.
"Are you sure you left it here?" Thinking back precisely how she proceeded last night, it did not take her long to come to the same conclusion.
For one, she was sure it this was the same car that brought her home, also it brought back Lorelei home because she had required to be her personal car.
Aware that it could be her who took it, because Norman did not allow people near her car, she shook her head negative pursing her lips, in fact she was certain the young woman took it. The thought brought a smile on her lips bluffing her daughter.
"Do not worry dear, I certainly put it in my briefcase it will not be the first time." The security man breath in relief closing his mistress door making a sign to the front drive to proceed as he entered the drive seat.
Feeling the sunlight beaming on her face Lorelei did no think something of it rolling to the other side to hide her face from the light she had her nose in the scarf she took in the car the previous night. She knew it was considered stealing but she did not really care. Opening her eyes, the gray orbs felt on her illuminated phone that showed seven past twenty minutes jerking back she fell on the ground hitting her hand on the table.
Crying out in pain, she ran in her bathroom removing her clothes all over the place not caring about cleanliness for once. In a matter of time she was going through her clothes wearing a pair of black jeans a white shirt her usual Nike shoes taking her leather jacket she ran out of her flat putting her toothbrush in her backpack.
She was never late to school but the only day she needed to be on time. Rushing in her dad SUV, he gave he before leaving she had the chance the road was fairly empty everyone already at work.
The last day of the week was the one she hate the most, because she could not see her best human being, now that she had her attention thoughts of ditching crossed her mind as she near the elite university she already knew for more than ten years, just as she arrived at the gate she remembered she forgot her badge on her kitchen counter.
Face palming herself she was about to turn around when one of the guys that accompanied her home yesterday knocked on her window car, rolling the glass she looked at him questioningly.
"Good morning ma'am, Do you have a problem?" Looking around the car , the man was pleased to see everything as clean and well kept as it looked from the outside.
"Thanks you and good morning too. I forgot my badge. I know no one go in without one. Since the guard is untreatable with it, just doing his job. I'll go back home and take it."
Tilting his head to the side he shook it, she was not even trying to take advantage of her new status, being his boss mentee came with favors she was not aware of, or did not want to use.
Remembering the Queen told them to make sure she lacked nothing. He smiled at her fatherly which she returned kindly. he knew she was a good child always minding her business never in trouble. The kind of child every parent want minus the fact that she was gifted with intelligence.
"Don't worry about that from now one.
If you don't want to be late at your first course you should go in. You are one lucky one, Madam will be a little late today, she had something to do with the Dean. Hurry up child. Go!" Hitting her car two time he left her.
Walking to the gatekeeper and the security staff he ordered them to open the gate for her, others students who have the same problem looked at her car wondering who she was to have special treatment, driving away from them, she was really relieved when the gates closed behind her.
One of the thing to know with Zurow university was the fact that it was strict about little thing as attendance or tardiness. On all the years she came here she never had problem, being in a special program her hours was not list in the computer she just have to present her card to have access to all the commodities, she was not even force to be here physically.
Parking at her spot, another thing she like here she had an attribute place in the parking reserve for professors that was a part of the protection they made for her. At sixteen she already knew how to drive, parking on the students lots was dangerous for her father liking, professors rapidly bypassed it as soon as the Dean who is a law professor explained it to them and the fact that she was bright.
Getting out of the car she ran as fast as she could in the empty hallway praying to make it there before Mrs Alister, the woman strictness on tardiness was never unwavering once her own daughter arrived late thinking she will allowed her to enter at the dismay of all the students she had ask her to not bother staying with them since it was so unimportant for her to attend on time.
If she was able to do it with her daughter she seemed to adore with what she saw the previous night, she could not try her chance refusing to think about the certainly imaginary tale she thought she lived yesterday. Yeah the product of her imagination.
"Watch it Miss k.k." Professor Hansen, the Dean of the law faculty and former professor of Lorelei said as she practically collided with her stepping aside before the collision.
"Professor Hansen! Good morning I really have to be goi..." Another figure appeared near her, they were right in front of her auditorium. " I, huh, good morning Mrs Alister, I" scratching her neck as the two women were blatantly staring at her one smiling, the other arching her eyebrows.
"Late night I see. You better go in there before I do Miss Kamali. Do not get use to it. Though I cannot have my best student out of the class. Can I?"
Smiling brightly at her the young woman bowed her head to them rapidly going in before she changed her mind.
"I never saw someone who like studying as this child, she is so enthusiastic at everything she does that it is depressing. Who finished school and come back again?"
Chuckling at what she could call her long date friend, Katiandra kissed her cheeks one of her hand on the doorknob staring intently at the woman who was her elder of ten years.
"Samantha you know that. Why will you asked? She is simply bright."
Surprised with what she was hearing the dean double check her friend brows arched.
"Since when... I thought you did not know her? It is a little stupid thinking back, you are the one paying for her tuition. I have to admit that I missed her in my classes sometimes. Sometimes I wondered why I have stupid students in my classes. Theirs questions could get so dummm."
"Ahaah, do not insult my students they are just normals they cannot help it. I got to go see you tomorrow right?"
In the meantime Alicia motioned Lorelei to sit with her in the front row near her mother desk, glancing at her usual spot, Lorelei smiled to her going her way not wanting to make a fool out of her since she saved her a place. After greeting her with kisses on cheeks, she lowered herself to sit, immediately settling her belongings. The professor entered the moment she leaned back in her seat.
"Whoa you made it on time. The Gods are with you." Praising her good timing Alicia murmured smiling.
Walking toward her desk like always ownii the place the class went silent to take in her beauty, she was simply breathtakingly stunning the clothes she wore took literally Lorelei willpower away.
Her eyes followed all her movements the way her hips moved her long long legs had her drooling over her, swallowing hard she looked at her breasts which form was visible through her open Blazer.
Shaking her head to keep her mind at bay, she looked up to have her eyes captured by the green orbs for a moment before she pulled away as if wandering her eyes on all the students beating her lower lip for a brief moment. If Lorelei was not attentive she would have missed it.
" I do not know if I should apologize for my tardiness since the gods did not want me to be on time. Whatever, I prepared a test for today thirty minutes will be added to you to make up for my... Tardiness." Saying that she passed her tongue behind her lower lip darting her eyes on Lorelei who did her best to pass unnoticed by the inquisitive stare.
"Miss Kamali, please pass the tabs to everyone."
Standing up as everyone looked around to know who the lecturer addressed, they were all suprised when she did, staring at her pointedly. Not minding them Lorelei walked toward her desk where a rectangular case containing the items was placed. The older woman sat at the edge of the desk, legs and arms crossed scrutinizing the youngs adults sitting in front of her.
Lorelei hand had to touch her as she placed hers on the case to take it to her peers. The auditorium was not that big it was typically made for the third level with place appropriate for it, students were really comfortable. Two raw of seats was facing the lecturer desk which was slightly above the level of the students.
They all have their heads up fixing the silent woman with expectations. She knew why and count on the test that she made to take any form of decision as soon as she will have it into her office to solve her dilemma.
Task finished Lorelei sat near Alicia before activating a button on her seat that produced a support that served as table.
"Okay, since everyone is set up. You will start your engine. You know the usual.
I know I said the top student of the midterm exam will be my assistant these year. Follow the rules and everything will be alright. No one go out before the end of the time. Phones are prohibit EVEN for the one who finish earlier. And please do not play games with the tablets they are the university's property. If you finished sleep, the support are solid enough for it."
Frowning at her words Lorelei sighed knowing the rules had to be for her, doing the class exams was always a boring thing to her. She only came for the lecture that she already know beforehand.
Her frown deepened at the exam in front of her it was things she already passed knowing the answers by heart she completed them all in fifteen minutes looking around she saw the nerd of the class, Marian Cole, a tall girl with dark hair who has everyone at her feet, she was the daughter of a rich man and think everything was granted to her. Her IQ was her pride, she was not a bad person at first sight, but could become annoying when she thinks she knew better than everyone.
Still holding her tablet between her fingers Lorelei cringed, not knowing what to do, that was the reason why she always sat near the exit her parents protected her from people stares as much as they could because she easily freak if people started looking at her pointing out her abilities but strangely she could win cases in court. But this was not court, students were bullies in way that could defy evil.
