Clara, afraid of being discovered had already put her phone on silent Anyway, no one was gonna hit her up at night!

She quietly snuck to the back door of the Melendez family’s house, spotting Aiden’s tiny figure under the streetlight from afart “Mummy!”

Upon seeing Clara, Arden ran straight towards heil Clara scooped up her son into her arms, hugging him tightly!

“Aiden my good boy. I finally found you! I never thought I’d see you again in my life!”

Aiden, squeezed a bit too tightly, couldn’t help but cough a few times, “Mum Mummy.”

“Aiden, I never thought you would call me mummy again! I owe you so much!”

Aiden gently patted Clara’s back, “Mummy, don’t be like this! I never blamed you, I know you had reasons for leaving me!”

“Back then I didn’t even get a chance to look at you before the Melendez family took you away I’m powerless, I could only watch you being taken away” Clara’s tears began to fall uncontrollably. “It was all my fault, but you had to bear it!”

“Mummy, actually actually we’ve met before today“”

Clara was taken aback, “What do you mean?”

Aiden lowered his head, a bit embarrassed, “Actually Alex and I switched places for a while! The time he suddenly didn’t like fast food, that was because it wasn’t him, it was me!”

He tried calling Clara but she didn’t pick up!

She missed all his calls!

While he was frustrated, his phone rang It was Clara‘

So she finally decided to call back!

“Where are you? Why didn’t you answer my calls?”

As soon as he answered the phone, Emmett asked directly “I felt a bit hungry tonight, so I went out to grab a bite!”

“You’re out?”

“Yeah!” Because she was afraid of giving herself away, afraid that he would hear she’s not at home, Clara simply said she was out.

“Where are you? I’ll come pick you up.”

“No need! I’m just out for a walk!”

“Emmett, it’s late! Can we talk tomorrow?”

“I’m really tired today, I want to sleep!”

“Who are you with? Emmett asked, “Did you go out to see Taylor?!”

Clara was taken aback, “What are you talking about! Why would I go see Taylor?”

“Then where are you?”

“I’m near the office”

Emmett’s face hardened. “Send me your location, I’m coming now.”

‘Clara! If you’re not up to no good, why are you scared of me coming?”
