Puka saw that it was 7:30AM, which was still early. As she didnât want to be late for work today. she spruced herself up and came downstairs early on her own.

âDo you know how serious the consequences of your actions were? Even my superior got criticized and had to write a selfâcriticism. Do you think itâs just some trifling matter?â Victoria uttered between clenched teeth.
âHuh?!â Miaâs heart trembled. Is the matter that serious? Why did it turn into something so serious?
âYouâre fired. Pack up your stuff and leave,â Victoria said cruelly as her eyes blazed with repressed resentment.
Ruka had asked Ren for help after being trapped inside the library last night. As he had come personally to save her, the nature of the entire incident turned out to be very different. What made Victoria even more resentful was that Miaâs actions had indirectly created an opportunity for the two.
