Ivy
"I still feel strange." I complained to Trevor as we made our way into ICHS. Indeed, I felt like I was missing time, but I had a good reason for that, last night hangover was responsible, right?
"How strange?" He asked, putting an arm around my shoulder as he pulled me closer to him, warmth spreading from his body, to mine. "Explain to me."
I gulped down, being this close to him was getting me nervous, or... Was it this warmth thing? "W-well, it's not a really important thing Trevor, I just feel like I'm missing time, that's all. I had a lot to drink at last night's party." I said.
"Last night?" He Chuckled. "The party was a day ago." Trevor said.
I looked up at him. "Why are you playing with me? Stop making fun of my situation." I whined.
"I'm not playing Ivy." He smiled. "The party was a day ago."
"Yeah right." I muttered, not believing a word he said. How's that even possible? So was he trying to tell me that I missed a total day of my life... Was he kidding me?
He was just lying...
"Fine... Don't believe me." He said. "But don't say I didn't tell you, besides, you have your calendar, check your phone."
"Whatever." I muttered. "So, are you going to tryout for the basketball team?" I asked him.
"I did that yesterday... I'm in it already."
I rolled my eyes. "Haha... Very funny." I muttered to him.
We entered the hallway.
"Still don't believe me huh? I have a meeting with the coach now." He informed.
"Really Trev? Really?" I asked.
He gave a rich laugh. "I'll catch you later, girlfriend." He placed a kiss on my cheek, going to the direction that led to the coach's office.
I stood there, watching him disappear into the sea of people as my hands flew to my cheek, where his lips had just made a connection with.
I smiled softly, making my way to my locker.
Taking my textbooks out of my locker, I felt a presence behind me.
"Ivy." Kyle's voice registered in my head.
I turned. "Kyle-" I gasped, seeing his bruised face. "Wh- what happened to you?" I asked him, who would hit him this bad? Everyone loved Kyle, or so I thought.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"Your face? What happened?" I asked, staring wide eyed at him.
He scoffed. "Really? So you're trying to tell me that you've forgotten about what happened yesterday?"
"No, I was at your party-"
He rolled his eyes, cutting me off. "Trevor and I fought yesterday, remember? After basketball practice? You were there? Any bells ringing now?" He asked.
My brows were still pulled together in confusion. "I don't- I don't remember any of that." I muttered, almost to myself.
"Seriously? It happened yesterday. You even came over to my house yesterday, to check up on me... And then after that, you went to see my brother, Roman... Did you guys plan to do this?" Kyle asked, looking pissed now.
"Plan to do what? What are you talking about? I never came to your house yesterday to see Roman." I defended.. what in hell was he talking about? And why on earth would I want to go see Roman?
Kyle sighed. "Roman was also pretending not to remember anything from yesterday. It was so annoying and now you're doing it too." He said.
"What- no... I'm not doing anything Kyle, I honestly don't- don't remember anything from yesterday... The last thing I remember was- Trevor picking me up from your party... And then, here I am."
Kyle raised a brow. "Are you serious?"
"I am, I swear... Why would I want to pretend?" I asked.
Kyle shrugged. "Well, I don't know... But whatever you and Roman have cooked up, just quit it... It's lame." With that, he walked away.
I stood there with my mouth half opened. What the hell just happened?
I was about to check the calendar app on my phone when-
"Hi!" A voice said from behind me... I turned immediately, locking eyes with a really pretty asian girl... She had thick black hair and a heart shaped face. Her round green smokey eyes made her look really pretty. She wore tight black leather pants, a black t-shirt underneath her black leather jacket, her converse was also black. Her make up was a hint of black and dark purple. She had piercings on her lips and ears. In all, she looked badass... Why is a badass talking to me?
"Hello... Um... Hi." I stuttered out.
Her eyes scanned me from head to toe. "You know where the bathroom is? I've been trying to locate it for ages now, this school's really huge." She said with an unimpressed look in her eyes.
"Yeah it is." I said, Wondering why she came to me... Of all students...
"So, the bathroom?" She asked impatiently.
"Oh... Uh... It's in the third hallway, to your left." I said.
"This school has a third hallway?" She asked, looking shocked.
"Yeah... It's ICHS." I chuckled.
"Odd." She stated. "I suddenly don't want to pee anymore." she muttered.
"Ow... Kay." I dragged the 'okay' turning back to my locker to grab the last textbook-
"So, what's the deal with this school anyway?" She asked.
I glanced at her, noticing her black nail polish. "Uh... Most rich kids go here... Governors sons and daughters, even presidents offsprings. And some other rich folks who can afford it." I said. "My Dad owns an automobile company in over four countries and my mom is a movie producer." I answered, shutting my locker.
"Oh." She nodded, still looking at me.
"Uh... How about you?"
"I don't have parents." She said without blinking.
"Uh.. I'm s-sorry to hear that." I muttered, unsure of what to say.
"Oh, don't be." She waved it off. "I just got adopted by some rich folk couple who think we'd finally be one happy family once I've gotten used to them."
I shrugged. "They may be right. You seem like a nice person."
"Oh trust me... I'm far from nice." She said, her poker face not wavering a bit.
I gulped down. "Uh... Okay- I guess." I was so unsure of what to say.
"What's your name?" She asked me.
"I'm Ivy, Ivy Fisher." I said with a small smile. When she didn't reply, I decided to ask her the same question she asked me. "So uh... What's your name?"
She was about to answer when Trevor's voice resounded behind me.
"Caramel?"
I turned to find him staring shockingly at the goth girl... Whose name I now suppose was Caramel.
"You two know each other?" I asked, looking from a shocked Trevor to a smirking Caramel.
Caramel scoffed. "Oh... We go way back..." She smirked. "Way back."
