The guard aimed the arrow at Taehyung and pulled the string which caused Taehyung to panic a little.
Is this how I die?
Taehyung couldn't believe it. All he wanted to do was see the crown prince just once! He wanted to make sure that the man was okay. Was he going to die unjustly for wanting such a small thing? Definitely not!
He was never going to accept such a fate!
Taehyung ducked his head and avoided the arrow by an inch before running on the roof and climbing down on the balcony of Yoongi's room.
Before going inside the room, he turned around for the last time, sticking his tongue out and teasing the guards who were desperately trying to catch him, "Who'll want to play around with you, idiots?"
The guard re-aimed his arrow at Taehyung and Taehyung smiled as his eyes went wide and his hand reached out to open the door to the room from the balcony. He fled the place before the arrow could even leave the bow.
Taehyung sighed in relief once he stepped inside the room, "That was easy."
"It sure was."
"!!!" Taehyung snapped his head and looked ahead at the man who had spoken, "What the hell are you doing here?"
"Shouldn't I be the one asking that?" Hyun stood up as he counter-attacked Taehyung's question with another question.
Taehyung took a few steps back as he wondered what was going on.
This was clearly Yoongi's room but instead of Yoongi, the only person Taehyung could see was Hyun.
Was this a trap?
The more he thought about it, the more warning signals sparked up in his mind. Where was the crown prince? Was he really safe?
"Where's the crown prince?" Taehyung asked immediately as he looked around.
Hyun shook his head as he replied, "That's not important right now."
"How can that not be important?!"
Hyun sighed as he looked at Taehyung's confused and worried expression, "Forgive me, young prince. What you did just now was a crime."
"..."
"You can't just climb the royal palace wall and enter the crown prince's room without permission like this." Hyun moved a step closer to Taehyung as he continued speaking with an unimpressed expression, "If it was someone else, they would have surely been beheaded for this."
"Does that mean since it's me, I'm free to go...?"
"..."
Hyung suddenly wondered why the crown prince liked this man so much. He was clearly a bit... Weird and Yoongi was even weirder to find an interest in this weird prince who was not really 'princely'.
"Please don't be offended." Hyun responded before holding his right hand up and ordering, "Arrest him."
"Huh?"
Suddenly the main door of the room opened and a few guards entered after having heard the order.
Taehyung took a few steps back and decided to climb back out from where he had climbed in, but even the balcony was now blocked by guards who had climbed up in order to catch Taehyung.
To put it plainly, he was cornered.
For the first time in his life, Taehyung was going to experience what it felt like to be thrown in jail.
"Just stay there for a bit. I'm sure the crown prince would release you soon."
"Do you think he'll be happy to know you guys arrested me?!" Taehyung tried to push off the guards but his arms were caught and tied behind his back as he struggled to get out of their hold.
Hyun shook his head as he replied, "This order was given by his highness."
"!!!"
It was like a bolt of lightning had struck down on Taehyung before his head was also covered completely by a bag and he was immediately taken away.
.
.
.
Jimin peeked at the crown prince who was walking in front of him, but he didn't dare say anything.
At a single glance, everything looked completely normal but only someone who knew the crown prince well would be able to say that something was wrong with this scene.
Yoongi appeared to look the same but somehow, even though his face was covered, Jimin could sense that the crown prince was in a bad mood. Even the word 'bad' would not be able to explain it.
It was as if he had something on his mind that was bugging him but he couldn't do anything about it.
Something that bothered even the crown prince was certainly not a simple case.
The two were greeted by the guards who opened the door for them and when they headed inside the room, there was a girl waiting for them.
She was wearing light purple-colored silky clothes that looked just as expensive as they amounted to. She had soft and delicate features that would definitely stand out in a crowd and along with her jade hairpins, she looked like an elegant spring. A soft and precious flower that would dance with the wind.
When Jimin saw the girl, his lips turned upwards as he whispered to Yoongi, "I look better, don't ya think?"
Although the man was highly self-confident, he wasn't exactly lying.
If someone compared the two, although the girl looked pretty and elegant, she was still no match to the warm and graceful aura Jimin had. At best, she would seem to be trying to copy this man.
One was a dancing flower among the wild grass while the other was like an elegant flower growing in the middle of a snowing mountain.
Yoongi didn't say anything in return because although he had heard it, his mind wasn't paying attention.
The girl stood up and politely bowed to greet the two men, "Your highness, it's a pleasure to meet you."
Yoongi nodded as he sat at the seat prepared for him and Jimin also did the same as he took a seat beside Yoongi.
The girl poured a cup of green tea for the two officials who were clearly ranked higher than her. This came to show that her mannerism was top-notch.
Yoongi looked at the girl and decided to not beat around the bush as he spoke, "Let's not waste time on such trivial politeness."
Her eyes slightly widened as she responded, "Your highness is so bold..."
"I'd like to get straight to business."
The girl glanced at Jimin before turning back to look at Yoongi as she asked, "He's gonna be here too?"
"Huh?"
"..." Her cheeks blushed bright red as she looked at the crown prince.
"Pfft-" Jimin broke out laughing as he questioned, "What the hell are you thinking about?"
The girl with cheeks as red as a cherry pepper looked down at her hands and it was clear as day that she was embarrassed, or rather, acting embarrassed.
Yoongi understood what misunderstandings had been caused but he didn't even seem to be fazed by it.
To him, this girl was nothing more than a bundle of flesh on bones, so why would he waste his precious brain cells on worrying about her misunderstandings?
However, he still ended up seeing through her facade.
She wasn't stupid nor was she naive. She was clearly acting.
This dancing flower had thorns hidden under her petals.
Yoongi pulled out something small wrapped in a cloth and placed it on the table.
The girl looked at the object that was gently pushed to her side, "Your highness doesn't need to gift me anything." She beamed as she waved her hands, acting humble.
Jimin snickered as he spoke, "look inside first, won't you?"
The girl smiled and unwrapped the cloth as she heard Yoongi speaking, "I think I found something that belongs to you."
Her eyes slightly widened and in a single second, she once again changed her expression into a calm one as she pushed the hairpin back, "This design is so famous. Maybe your highness was mistaken?"
Yoongi shook his head and pushed it back towards her as he responded, "Isn't it you who's mistaken?"
The smile on her face faltered for a bit and it was clearly noticed by Yoongi.
Of course, the girl won't admit it even if it belonged to her. This hairpin was a piece of evidence and its owner was the suspect! Admitting that it was hers was like confessing she was the culprit! Who would be stupid enough to do that?
She looked down at the hairpin and once again pushed it back towards the crown prince and when Yoongi tried to push it back to her, she stopped him by placing her hand over his as she spoke, "That's not mine."
"..."
Maybe she had noticed the killing intent emitting from the crown prince who hated physical contact but she still didn't move her hand away and instead, beamed happily, "If your highness wants to gift it to me, why don't you just say so? I'll be glad to accept. No need to use this method."
Her fingers traced along the back of his hand as she pulled the hairpin back.
Jimin, who had seen this entire exchange couldn't help but cough out loud and make his presence known as he wondered why this girl was so suicidal.
The only reason her head was still attached to her body was because Yoongi was thinking and worrying about something else entirely. He wasn't even paying attention to her much so she was safe even after having done something so improper.
Who allowed her to touch his hand like that? Was this how little she cared about keeping her soul intact?
"Since you have received it, you have received it. Why spout so much nonsense?" Jimin asked with a warm smile that looked to be mocking the girl.
The girl chuckled as a response, seeming to not have caught on to the hostile response she got.
"General park, I have heard great tales about you." She looked him up and down as she continued, "People seemed to have understated your beauty."
"Oh really?" Jimin picked up the cup of green tea and took a sip before he asked, "I wonder what you have heard? Nothing bad, I suppose?"
"No need to worry. The usual tales, you know? The ethereal looking warrior who doesn't blink as he cuts down a human head." Her eyes seemed to be slightly glaring at him with hostility as her smile faltered just a bit, "Really impressive. I've always wanted to be like you."
"Is that right?" Jimin chuckled, "I'm afraid you can't"
"Hmm?"
"No matter how hard you try, you'll never become me."
"..." The girl tilted her head in confusion as she questioned, "Why is that?"
"Do you have someone you like? Someone you're close to? A friend maybe? Or perhaps a lover?"
The smile on her face stopped and Jimin seemed to have clearly noticed this reaction as he continued, "If that person betrays you, would you kill for that person or would you kill that person?"
The girl chuckled as she responded, "What type of question is th-"
"I would."
"..."
"Since you don't like me already, I won't lie to you and pretend to be a good guy," Jimin beamed as he shifted in his seat, "Cause I'm a bad person. I can kill for the person I like and I can kill the person I like. Do you think you'll ever be able to do that?"
The girl looked a bit stunned and hidden behind her expression was a feeling of hatred that Jimin couldn't sense.
In the next second, she smiled brightly as she replied, "I can surely kill for the person I like. Does that make us more similar to each other?"
Jimin shook his head, "We're still different."
"How so?"
Jimin pointed at himself as he spoke, "I'm better looking."
"..."
Before the girl could respond to such an overconfident comment, Yoongi took out another piece of paper from his sleeve pocket and placed it on the table as he asked, "Would you be willing to help us?"
The girl glanced down at the paper cautiously before looking back up at the crown prince as she responded, "It's my duty to help."

A/n: If you guys haven't guessed it already, this girl is the daughter of that old piece of feaces called Hwang.
She is the female version of Jimin and Taehyung(a deadly combo). Shameless, playful, and knows how to hide stuff and distract people. Also the owner of the hairpin that looks like the one that Yoongi gifted to Taehyung. (Finally, this secret is revealed!)
It was so fun seeing you guys come up with wrong theories lol
I wonder if anyone would be able to guess why Yoongi ordered to put Taetae in jail (Hint: Unless you have a really wild imagination, you won't be able to guess mwahahaha.)
In the previous chapter, I told you guys I wanted to make a fanart of that scene where Jungkook holds a sword against Taehyung's head, remember?
Well....
*Drumrolls*
I did!
It didn't turn out as good as I hoped because I have been practicing digital painting so much that I can no longer make a decent line art (â¥ï¹â¥)
I guess I'll just bounce around from painting style to manga style and see what I end up adapting.
sigh~ I have a lot to learn.
Ah! There was also this chibi art style I tried and posted on my insta on valentine's. You guys might have already seen.
hehehe So cute, right?
If I could, I would want to make a whole chibi webtoon but then again... I'll have to improve my skills for that. (~â¾â¿â¾)~
Those two chibi brothers are so small that you'll hardly notice themð You guys probably know where this scene is from, right?
All of this is available on my insta: cherly.swan
You'll probably get to see more artworks in the future ( /^Ï^)/âªâª
I already have one planned but it's gonna be super sad ಥâ¿à²¥
Next update: 1 March, 2021â¨
With that said,
Thank you for reading
I hope you guys have a blessed day.
Don't skip your meals and remember to stay hydrated ðð
