After Sirin finished the sandwiches, Chen Heng explained the functions of the ring he had given her.

“Alright. I don’t mind keeping it on, but, Elder Brother, can’t you switch it to another finger?” Sirin really liked the exquisite ring on her index finger.

“Don’t even think about it. I’ll have you know it is impossible for you to remove the ring. You can try it if you don’t believe me.” Chen Heng patted Sirin’s head and gestured in invitation to try if she wanted.

“I’ll give it a try, then. I don’t believe I can’t remove it.” Sirin’s temper flared up. I am the Herrscher of the Void. How can I be unable to handle a small ring?

Sirin tried shifting her index finger into the void to remove the ring. However, she found that the ring remained on her even when her index finger entered the void.

“Why would I blame you for this? Also, why are you shrinking your neck back? I won’t hit you. How could I bear to hit you?” Chen Heng did not plan on beating Sirin. Instead, he ruffled her hair, messing it up.

“Elder Brother, you really don’t mind?” Sirin probed.

“Why would I mind? Although I have no reason to attack those researchers, you are the victim. As such, you are entitled to take revenge on them. I understand the principle that one should not advise others to be virtuous without experiencing hardships themselves.”

“Alright. Elder Brother, can you hug me again for a while?”

“Of course.”

Midnight:

“Elder Brother, be careful. Don’t alert those Valkyries.” Sirin sneaked towards the Honkai reactor with Chen Heng.

“Don’t worry. Just relax. Your elder brother is quite powerful.”

“Elder Brother, you are boasting, right? You started cultivating even later than me, so you are not qualified to say this. To think you used your attraction ability to carry dishes. There’s no way it can be that powerful.” Sirin glanced at him skeptically.

“Alright, alright, alright. Then I’ll leave it to my precious younger sister to protect me.”

“Elder Brother, don’t worry. Now that I’m a Herrscher, I’m very powerful. As long as I can absorb sufficient Honkai Energy, I am omnipotent. I will protect you.”

Sirin absorbed Honkai Energy as she spoke to Chen Heng.

Upon seeing Sirin’s forgetfulness, Chen Heng decided to let her experience a few setbacks. Otherwise, who knew when he could correct her habit of letting her ego inflate?

Chen Heng could protect Sirin from any mistakes she made in this world. However, when they returned to his world, he could not…actually, after some thought, he could do that there too.

“That’s enough, Miss Criminal and Mister Researcher.” A well-endowed woman suddenly appeared behind Chen Heng and Sirin.

Chen Heng had noticed this person long ago. However, he did not point her out so that Sirin could learn a lesson.

“Sirin, you have to remember what Elder Brother is saying now. As a villain, you need to learn to cut down on bragging and evil monologues. Just go ahead and attack.”

Sirin was about to launch into an evil monologue, but Chen Heng stopped her. At the same time, he imparted some basic knowledge on how to be a successful villain.
