Chapter 52: Chapter 34

The Girl They Never NoticedWords: 9821

"Oh. My. God! It's YOU." I said in complete astonishment.

My heart started beating erratically I almost felt it break through my rib cage. This level of astonishment left my brain dizzy and my eyesight blurry.

"But.....But... But I attended your damn funeral!! I saw your kids and wife cry over you as they buried your body! All the while you were alive?!" I said as I stared into the only person I never expected to see for the rest of my life.

He's breathing in front of me.

He's standing right in front of me.

How?

I saw him die. Get murdered.

Wait no. Actually what I saw was his watch only. He wanted everyone to think he died. Why though?

"I needed to live some sort of life and exit it as such so I could go on with my masterplan without having any baggage. I needed to leave some sort of legacy so that my wife and kids won't have to bury their heads every time they walked down the street." He said as he placed a chair in front of my bed.

"You were my favourite teacher Mr. Blake. You taught-"

"My name is not Blake princess, it's Jordan! Always has been, always will be! As for whatever trash I taught you, well, it's up to you what you do with it. I got half of them from Monster's Inc. anyways. It never meant anything to me either way." He said with a smirk, as he tipped his chair backwards; crossing his hands.

I was too confused to speak. Too astonished to think. Too surprised to breath. But did that stop me? Like hell it did.

"Why would you put your family through something like that? How can you live a lie and make them live through something like that?! They're your family for crying out loud. And why me?! What have I done to you that would make you want to end me?"

He laughed a humourless laugh, and stood up. Slowly, he made his way over to my bed, and sat at the foot of it.

"Family?! Don't you dare speak to me about family little girl. You don't know the first thing about me Alexis Pierce but I don't blame you. I really don't." He said as he crossed his legs on the bed.

"Then why would you bring me here if you don't blame me Blake." I spat out, using his old name just to piss him off.

"That is a story for another time princess." He said with no expression what so ever. He just sat there looking at me.

Well isn't this awkward.

"Are you going to hurt me? Because if you are just get it over with please. You've done enough to terrorize me." I said, not giving a single flying damn anymore.

"Hurt you? Oh why in the world would I hurt you princess?" He said, sarcasm dripping from every single letter.

"You planned to kill me, TWICE, and now you kidnapped me. Why else would you even bring me here? To play dress up?"

"Oohh sassy! Its so adorable that you think so highly of me princess but who said it was me who did all that to you?" He said, smirking like the demon from The Conjuring.

"What?! You mean there's two of you? And seriously stop calling me princess because I could literally tear your face with my bare hands." I said, seeing nothing but red. I even tried to charge at him but the stupid cuffs kept me in place.

He laughed, apparently amused by my threats. Let's just hope that he isn't seeing through my façade, because although I act all tough and "Indiana Jones-y", I'm a shaking mess from the inside.

"I actually saw what you did to Brad. Good for you, finally standing up to that oversized gorilla baby. I never really liked him." He said; as if we were in a coffee shop discussing the latest trends.

"Ok cut the BS and tell me why I'm here Blake!"

"And what? Ruin the fun? This party is just getting started kid."

"What do you want from me? Why am I here? Why is this on me?" I said, holding up my rusted metal bracelets.

"How's Jaycee and Jace by the way?"

Did he not just hear what I said? Unbelievable!

"How do you know about them?"

"How do I... you gotta give me more credit than that little girl." He said smirking slyly.

"What do you want?" I said, tired of this creepy game he's playing. "Why am I here?"

"As I said, I don't want to ruin all the fun."

He saw that I was very skeptical so he stopped talking and stood up. He went to the front side of the bed and opened a drawer. He came back with magazines, books, movies, and even a few barbie dolls.

"Here. Keep yourself busy with these."

We heard screaming from outside the room, so sighing loudly and muttering something, he stood up to leave.

"You're going to be here a while kid, so try to make yourself comfortable. I'm going to uncuff you, but please don't do anything that'll get you killed." He said as he unlocked the rusted bracelets and left them cuffed to the bed.

He starred at me with a weird emotion crossing his eyes. Regret? Empathy? Or was it just the look of a true psychopath?

"You're gonna be in for a real surprise princess. I'll get you something to eat and there's a bathroom in there. Don't cause trouble and don't make a lot of noise or else I'm going to have to put you to sleep."

"Oh yeah? Please do tell me what are you going to do? Read me a bedtime fairytale?"

He chuckled, still like we were old friends catching up.

"Just chill out and be calm and you won't get hurt." With that he turned and walled outside the door, locking it; saying something under his breath -that I caught- which turned my blood cold.

"Not physically at least."

There's something about him that seemed off. Like the nice, sweet, and caring teacher I used to have became the walking reincarnation of Professor Umbridge! You have got to be crazy if you think that Voldemort -yup, Voldy Moldy- is worse than Umbridge! She is the lady form of satan. Who else would do all these diabolical doings with a smile on her face.

Anyways. Not the point.

I hopped off the bed, and went to further inspect the room; maybe I could find a way out of here. The bathroom is a small room that looks freakishly clean and reeks of bleach. Was someone killed here? Because that would most definitely explain the spotless bathroom.

Anyways.

The wallpapers looked brand new, with pink and read hearts covering the entire wall. The bed is a princess style beauty with a lot of pillows and a cute pink duvet and white sheets.

I went to the windows to look outside. They actually open. That would be so helpful right? Wrong. They only open for about an inch. Barely enough to even let in the cold forest air.

Wait what? A forest?!

WHAT ARE WE DOING NEXT TO A FOREST. Again?!

Wait. Are we back to the same place? It doesn't seem familiar though.

What the heck is going on?! Where am I? Why is this happening to me? Is this Karma's way of getting back to me for what I did to Brad? Cuz I am not going to be apologizing for anything. Ape-face got everything he deserved!

UGH!!

My head started spinning and I just realized that I haven't eaten anything since God knows when.

I jumped on the bed, and just in time because the door was being opened from the other side and one of the guys that got me here came in with a bag of McDs.

He came over to my bed and handed me the bag. I wouldn't have taken it had my stomach not demonstrated the sound of a dying whale choking on a group of jellyfish.

I gladly took it from him.

I starred at the bag while he just stood there and starred at me, sort of creeping me out.

He then bent down and looked for something under the bed. After a while, he just returned to standing and starring at me. Again, making me pretty uncomfortable. He seems about 28, around six foot three, dirty blonde hair, emerald green eyes, and very muscular.

Maybe he wasn't so scary if I initiated a conversation.

"Vehicular sabotage? Really? I mean out of all charges you would've laid on me, that's what you choose to do?" I said, stuffing like twenty fries in my mouth. Screw etiquette when it comes to fries.

"Hahaha I'm sorry kid I had to think of something. And besides, where do you think we got the uniform? The police were already on their way to arrest you on those charges."

"Honestly, I'm not even surprised anymore." I sigh, slumping my shoulders in defeat.

"Listen kid. I'm really sorry I had to do this, I really am and I'm even more sorry that you're going through something like this. But I know for-.."

"Jesse! What are you doing here? We need to go now! We have to scram in the morning!" Said the other guy.

Jesse gave me an apologetic look and left the room, locking it from the outside.

Perfect.

I finished devouring my food and continued sitting on my bed, thinking of the trash hole that is my life. From moving to LA, to being bullied, to staying in the hospital, to beating up Brad, to being threatened, to attempted murders, and now to here.

Where did I go wrong? I haven't hurt anyone. Well unless you count Brad, who isn't human by the way so he doesn't qualify. I've always been the perfect student and perfect daughter, so why am I here. Who is really behind all this if Blake claims it wasn't him who did all that.

Somewhere between my thoughts I must've fallen asleep because the next thing I knew was being awaken by a few "whispering" voices.

I looked up to see the door wide open and two weird figures standing there.

"Let her sleep, she's been through a lot lately." Said an awfully familiar voice.

"Is prince charming going all soft and squishy." Teased the other.

"Do you want to die?! Because I swear to you that I will make that happen. Just one more-.."

They stopped talking when they realized I was awake. One of them reached for the lights and to my dismay, turned them on.

I had to shield my eyes from the sudden surge of light, but when I removed them, I came face to face with a pair of blue eyes and curly, black locks.

"No. Nope. Mmm. No. No. No!! Hell no!!"

"Hiya there, sis." He spat out.
