It has been a week and a half since I was brought into this house. I never saw CJ or Blake again, I only heard them screaming or arguing from a distance. Instead, I was basically only ever visited by Jesse.
At first, he would only come to bring my food and leave, but as the days progressed, he would stay longer and we would just talk about life. I learned a lot of things about him that helped me discover his amazing personality.
Him and his brother were both orphaned at a young age when both their parents died together due to cancer fifteen years ago. He was about eleven years old while his other brother was fourteen. They were both left to care for their younger sister Bianca; who was five at the time. Their grandparents took them in, and made sure they all went to school.
Everything went perfectly and as planned; until it no longer did. Their sister was kidnapped and a few days later, she was found murdered and dumped in front of their own house!!
That's when he completely lost it and gave up on university. He started sulking around until he decided, along with his brother, that he would get into this dark cold business of kidnapping just to avenge his sister's death.
After I opened up to him about my disgusting garbage brother, we sort of bonded and became friends pretty fast.
He bought me clothes and keeps bringing me my favourite food and drinks, so we bonded pretty quick.
"Jess do you know when I'll be getting out of here? I want to go to my parents please!"
"I know kid and I'm so sorry, but there is nothing I could do." He says, as he puts the groceries he bought me next to my bed before sitting at the far end from me.
"You know there isn't anything I can do without getting us both killed." He said.
"But what do they want from me? What have I done?"
"I really don't know Alexis. I'm in no position to ask and even if I did, they wouldn't tell me."
"Yeah, CJ and Blake are complete morons!" I said in frustration.
"Oh it's not them who won't talk. It's another dude. Apparently this is his masterplan and I overheard them saying it would all be over pretty soon."
"What? How does he look like?"
"I didn't personally see him and to be honest, I don't intend on doing so. I better get going before they catch me here. I'll see you later kid." He said, locking the door behind him.
Feelings defeated, I retreated back to my bed and started crying out of utter frustration.
No one has asked for me. Am I seriously that unwanted? Or did they just do a great job at covering their tracks.
I had a lot of questions I needed answered.
Where's mom and dad?
What happened to them?
Why aren't they coming for me?
How is Sebastian?
How's Jaycee?
How's Jace?
What are my friends doing?
I had a lot of questions and no one to answer them for me. I let my tears fall freely as I held my pillow tight, crying out all my frustration.

Later that night, I couldn't take it anymore and was banging on the stupid door so someone could let me out of here!
"Hey!! I demand that someone comes right here and speaks to me! Hey! Open this door right now or so help me I will..."
The doorknob turned around and the door opened with so much force that it got me jumping.
"What. Do. You. Want?! How many times am I going to tell you to shut up!" Said CJ, his face red with anger.
"I have been here for a whole damn week Carleton and I demand to know why I'm still here and WHO IS THE OTHER GUY?! What the hell kinda stupid game are you playing??" I scream in his face, catching him by surprise.
"You don't ask for demands here, we do! And we say GET BACK TO YOUR ROOM!!"
"Oh yeah? Or what? What are you gonna do, kill me? Because I'm a hundred percent sure that you would've done that by now? You fake as hell twin!" I say, pushing him further out the door.
"If you don't get back in that room I will personally see to it that you are killed in the most painful way possible!"
"Children, children, what's all this fuss about? Your voice could be heard all the way down to the basement." Said a voice I've never heard here before.
I look to my right, and what I see makes my whole body numb and my brain blank.
He stood there, with a smug grin on his face, his thick rimmed glasses covering half his face.
"What the hell?" I whisper, leaning against the door frame for support.
"What are you doing here? Who else is in on this? Do you have the principal here too cooking? Wait, let me guess, I bet Bradley and his minions are here as well doing the laundry.
He laughed a humourless laugh and motioned for CJ to leave, which he did. Not before he glared at me and bumped me with his shoulder.
"Ow you nincompoop!" I said to his retreating figure, rubbing my shoulder.
"You know, for such a smart student, you really have a horrible dictionary of insults." He said, as he crossed his hands on his chest.
"Why am I hear Lucas? Why the hell have I been here a week?! I'm done fighting. I'm done screaming. I won't even report you to the police. I just want to go home. Please." I plead, sliding down the door to the floor. I can't take anymore of this. I'm physically and emotionally drained at this point.
He sighed, and came to sit next to me on the floor. He handed me a tissue. At first, I was reluctant to accept it, but then I took it gladly and started drying my tears. I mean what could possibly be on them? Cyanide? Well good, so I could at least get the hell out of here; even if it's in a body bag.
"So you want to know why you're here Little ex?" He said, making me snap my head in his direction.
Little ex? I remember that name very vaguely from when I was a kid.
He continued, courtesy of the shocked expression on my face.
"Yeah. That was the name I came up with for you when you were about a year. You couldn't pronounce Lexi right, instead you would say "Exi" so I started calling you Little Ex." He said, his eyes turning soft.
"You're my uncle? But my parents told me that you.."
"Died? Yeah, that is what they wanted." He said, not giving me anymore information.
"I want to go home Nicky." I say, the nickname I gave him popping into my head. Nicholas William Holt.
"I'm sorry baby girl, but for the time being, you are home." He says, looking very let down.
"What happened with you and mom?" I ask, trying to uncover the truth, once and for all. I wasn't scared because I know that he isn't going to hurt me. I don't know why, but I know that for sure.
"Come with me." He said, standing up and extending his hand to me.
I hesitantly take it, and follow him down the corridor to an office like room.
"Sit down." He said. When I didn't comply, he whispered, "Please."
I did as I was told and sat down on a chair opposite to him.
"So you want to know the real truth?" He asked, and I nodded.
"Well, my parents gave all their fortune to Vanessa because they thought that I was a screw up, I mean I was only in high school but whatever. When you were born, I started hanging out around you and CJ more often because I wanted to be a part of your lives. I loved you as though you were my own children. Things were going very fine, up until your first birthdays approached.
Someone started getting ahold of pictures and videos I took of you guys on my phone. It didn't take me long to realize that my phone was hacked into and that everything on it was compromised. When your parents got ambushed by paparazzis wherever they went, they started blaming me for everything. Accusing me of selling my own family to the press.
A while after that, someone started leaking highly confidential client information from your dad's company to the black market. Of course, they assumed it was me, although I kept swearing that I had nothing to do with it. Of course, no one believed me and I was forced to leave the family mansion.
When CJ got kidnapped, that was definitely the final straw for them. Not only did they accuse me, but they also threatened to have me thrown in jail! For kidnapping my own damn nephew; which by the way, I didn't do. But do you know how far they got? They sent someone to make sure I was taken care of. That day, I found out who was the actual kidnapper and I convinced him to tell me where CJ was. While we were driving there, the car caught fire, killing the original kidnapper and hurting me. I lost my only lead on getting CJ back and I felt helpless and hopeless. My life was ruined. Not only did your parents destroy my reputation, I also lost the only lead I had to getting CJ back. After that, I disappeared, changed my name, and went to live with my best friend's family. Yes, the guy you call Blake sort of became my foster brother since his parents welcomed me with open arms.
I studied college, got my degree, and waited for the day I get my revenge on my sister and her husband for ruining my life." He said, his eyes turning a dangerous shade of red.
"That can't be true though! My parents wouldn't do anything like that!" I tried to defend them.
"You're too kind and too sweet Alexis; always have and always will be. That's why I wanted you away from them."
I repeated what I said before, this time almost pouncing on him in the process.
"My parents would never do anything like that!!"
"Oh but they did. And now they're going to pay. I'm going to get them killed, and there's absolutely nothing that your smart brain can do about it." He said, standing up and swiftly coming behind me.
"Wait wha.."
He jabbed my neck with something, and just like that, I was out, hitting my head pretty hard as I fall down to the floor.

I woke up with such a horrible headache. It felt like someone was using my skull as a trampoline. Before my eyes adjusted to where I was, I became blinded by a strong white light. I tried rubbing my eyes, but I couldn't.
No.
Not because I was drugged. For some reason, my hands are tied behind my back.
Taking a look around, I could clearly see that I am no longer in the room I was in for the past, painful two weeks, but instead, I'm sitting on a chair, in a room that looks like a security control room or something.
There were about at least fifteen computer screens in here; all of them pitch black. Then, one by one, they started turning on. The light from them almost blinded my eyes, so I had to squint because it just intensified the drilling sensation in my head.
When my eyes focused on the screen, I could clearly see that it looked like the inside of a plane.
No, scratch that.
The inside of my parent's plane!! No!
I could see every inch of that plane from here. I could see my dad reading some papers, and my mom sleeping on the couch, a book in her hands. I could see the cockpit, the luggage compartment, and something on there caught my attention.
There was a clock.
A timer.
Attached to something that I would only assume to be either gas or a bomb.
And it was counting down.
