Hazy blurriness clouded Optimus's vision as he onlined, sitting up tiredly. The mech was trying to get his bearings stable, groaning softly to himself until his black servos touched his face.
...Or in this case, his black gloved hands.
Snapping open his eyes, Optimus pulled his hands away from his face and gasped, standing up on his berth only to realise that his massive frame was now gone, replaced with a human flesh.
"How...?" The Prime breathed out, trying to backtrack on previous events that could have caused this event. His mind came up empty until one insane but possible idea popped up, instantly dampening his mood.
"Oh, this is so not my day."

Flashback
"Ratchet? You're still doing test with the Synth-En?" Rafael asked, startling the medic. The grumpy doctor lifted up his face from the Cybertronian microscope to give the kid a nod in reply.
"Yes. Don't worry, I'm testing it on machines this time." He said, giving the small boy an assuring smile.
"Can I see the progress please?" Raf asked hopefully. Ratchet pondered for a moment before nodding, allowing the boy.
"Sure thing." He said, picking up the petri dish and brought it closer for Rafael to peek in.
"Woah-"
CRASH!
The two brilliant individuals jumped up at the noise. This time however, Ratchet wasn't careful enough and accidentally tipped the sample from his servos and it fell onto the table. Rafael dived out of the way just in time to miss the substance trickling onto him. The substance pooled on the table, making a mess.
"BULKHEAD! GET THE FRAG OUT OF MY WORKPLACE!" Ratchet roared, throwing a wrench at the terrified Wrecker.
Apparently, the big bot was playing lob with Bumblebee and caused a havoc to one of Ratchet's tools...again.
At the same time, Optimus, who was standing by his old friend's side, accidentally touched the contaminated Energon. The medic took notice of the Prime's predicament and got into action immediately.
"Optimus! Your servos!" Ratchet hollered, grabbing a towel to wipe it away. The worried bot pushed his leader to the decontamination room, ordering him to get a bath.
"In. Now." Without a word, Optimus obeyed.
But it was too late. The substance had seeped into his systems, altering all of his CNA and processors. The Prime was still feeling a little light-headed after the sanitisation but he kept it to himself, not wanting to trouble the medic.
Oh, what a grave mistake he had made.
Back to the present, Optimus looked around, blue eyes scanning the room. He still could not figure out a way to get down from his massive berth. Sighing, the Prime inspected the side of the berth, hoping to use something to his leverage.
Fortunately, Ratchet was around his quarters and the mech knocked, catching the Autobot leader's attention. The door hissed and the red and white medic came in, only to scream out loud when he saw Optimus's tiny figure waving awkwardly, legs dangling on the edge of the metal berth.
"BY THE ALLSPARK!" Ratchet gasped, walking towards the mech. Optimus sighed, facepalming at the situation.
"I believe ...I'm in need of an assistance?"
---
After getting Optimus off from the oversized bed, the two friends made their way to the main hangar and dropped the news to the team.
Needless to say, their reactions are priceless.
"WHAT THE FRAG!?"
"WOAH! OPTIMUS IS A HUMAN NOW? COOL!"
"MIKO!"
"Right, sorry- I mean, this is reaaallly bad!"
"Not helping."
"Shut up, Jack."
Optimus groaned inwardly, burying his tired face into his palms, officially done.
Though, Mr. Fate was FAR from done with his torments on Optimus and the proximity sensors blared loudly, bringing everyone out of their thoughts. Agent Fowler dropped by; scowl evident on his face as he trudged into the base.
"PRIME!"
"Oh, for the love of Primus..." Ratchet winced and gritted his dentas as he heard the soft curses from his best friend.
It only meant one thing; the Prime was pissed.
"PRIME! WHERE IS THE-"
"I'm right here, Agent Fowler." Optimus said, glancing at the liaison.
"WHAT IN SAM HILL'S NAME IS GOING ON!?" The man shouted, gripping the railing as he did a double take. Agent Fowler was about to blow his top even more when you tapped his shoulders, giving him a disapproving look.
"Will, that's not nice." I said, sighing at my step brother. Agent Fowler sputtered, jumping up from my touch.
"(Y/N)! I told you to stay in the helicopter!" he yelled, gripping my shoulders.
"Yes, but you were taking too long. I got worried, sorry." I said. William relaxed his gaze and smiled, pinching my cheeks.
"Sorry sis, didn't mean to get you worried. I was- wait- WHY AREN'T YOU FREAKING OUT!?" My brother screeched, pulling me closer as he violently shook my shoulders.
"Is this the part where I should be screaming out of pure terror because I've come in contact with a group of extra-terrestrial beings?"
"NO SHIT SHERLOCK!"
"But they aren't harming you or the kids down there, so I am safe to assumed they won't hurt me either." I smiled, patting his cheeks before gazing upon a red and white robot. He was holding something- no.
Someone. On his hand.
And said person was really gorgeous!
"Hello." I greeted, waving at the team. The bot snapped out of it first, greeting me in reply.
"Hi..." he said, carefully lifting the man on his palms to the platform. I backed away, giving the mysterious man some space. His eyes were the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen and it did nothing but to compliment his ten out of ten features.
In a nutshell, the man before me was a MODEL!
"Greetings. I am Optimus-"
"PRIME! YOU DIDN'T ANSWER MY DAMN QUESTION!" Fowler snapped, pulling the bot-turned human away from his sister. The African-American man was getting protective of you, seeing that you were his only sibling and vowed to always have your back.
"Hey, that's enough!" I snapped, slapping my brother's hands away from the poor man. He was already frightened as it is, don't need my bro to add another burden.
"(Y/N)-"
"I can handle myself fine, brother. Please, let the man explain himself without sending him into a panic attack." I chided, frowning at William. He stuttered before giving me a loud sigh, relenting.
"Fine." he said, calming down. Turning towards the black-haired male, I gave him a soft smile, urging him to speak up.
"Go on." I winked. Optimus gulped and nodded, explaining the situation to the both of us. After the Prime was done relaying his messages, Fowler groaned for another time.
"Why is it something bad happens when I'm gone!?"
"Actually, even if you're here it wouldn't make much difference, brother." I chuckled.
"WAAAAAAIT!!! AGENT FOWLER IS YOUR BROTHER!?" A young teen girl screamed, running upstairs to get a closer look. I gave her a soft smile, nodding.
"Yeah, he's my stepbrother. His family took me in when I was a baby and he has been my brother ever since." I said, patting William's shoulders as I explained to the girl.
"WOAH! HOW'S IT LIKE!??"
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSE-"
"He's very protective of me but he does spoils me a lot, and I'm eternally grateful for him. Though, he can be quite overwhelming with his exaggerated speech...but I won't have him any other way." I sighed, leaning onto my sibling's shoulder.
Agent Fowler rolled his eyes before giving me kiss on my head, grumbling softly.
"You're the only sister I have, who else am I going to spoil if it isn't you?" he said, pouting.
"Yes, yes. Now, stay calm and don't attack the poor man. He's already stressed with the situation, adding on with the Decepticons and being the leader of his faction-"
"(Y/N)!" Agent Fowler gasped in horror. "WHERE THE HELL DID YOU GET THAT INFORMATION!?" He hissed.
"Your files were littered on the coffee table last week. I helped you packed them up because you spilt coffee on them. I had to reprint all of the information for you. Don't worry, I was shocked too, hence my reactions now aren't that dramatic." I giggled.
"Scrap...General Bryce is going to shoot me." William said, throwing his hands up in the air.
"Don't worry, he won't."
"And how would YOU know?" he challenged.
"Well for starters, I've been around Pentagon for ages, I believe our boss know that sooner or later I'll be involved in this. Besides, if you didn't want me to know, why bring me along?" I chuckled, nudging his arms. He scratched the side of his face, embarrassed.
"Right..." he coughed out. I smiled and turn back to Optimus.
"Optimus, how long do you think this effect would last?" I asked.
"I...am uncertain. I can only hope that this would just be temporary." He admitted.
"This isn't good. What about the Cons!?" Agent Fowler said, worry of his planet. I waved at him, silently letting him know I'll handle this.
"Well, if that's the case, I believe we'll just need to alter some daily schedule until you revert back to your original form." I said, taking out my phone as I began typing notes in it.
"How are you so calm about this!? We are talking ruthless, evil, cold-sparked robots threatening to take over your world!" A femme robot spoke up.
"A-Arcee, was it? I am worried too, but being in a state of panic won't do us good; not with your leader temporarily being downsized." I smiled softly.
I didn't say 'out of commission' because Optimus could still lend a hand in giving advices and battle plans.
"Right, I must address the elephant in the room-"
"Where?" A green mech spoke up, glancing around weirdly. I laughed, shaking my head in amusement.
"Figure of speech, my bad." I apologised. He stopped looking and laughed along, waving his servos in dismissal.
"Where was I? Oh right, we need to be calm to fix this matter and thus I believe it is best if we keep the fighting to the minimum. Do we have enough Energon to last for at least a week?" I continued. The team's jaws dropped in disbelief.
:-Woah...another Prime?-:
"Hmm? Prime? No, no. I am just a strategist for Pentagon." I laughed.
"YOU CAN UNDERSTAND HIM!?" Fowler yelled.
"Again, no need for the shouting brother. Yes, I can. Why?" I sighed, setting my hands on my hips.
"W-We- oh for frag's sake! Why didn't I bring you in earlier!?" William said, entirely done and did a 180 on me.
"Huh?"
...What is he on now?
"If I've brought you in earlier, I could've solved countless communication problems and not drag my ass to work every time! Do you know how much paperwork you could've lessen for me? Or how I wouldn't be chewed at all the fragging time!?" he groaned.
"Oh, I guess I can start helping now...?" I trailed off, sweatdropping at his expressions. Optimus came forward, nodding at me with respect.
"Thank you, lady (Y/N). Your help is deeply appreciated. Though we've just met, may I request something from you, m'lady?" he said, courteously. I blushed and nodded, giving him an awkward smile.
"S-Sure! And (Y/N)'s fine, by the way." I said.
"Can you teach me how to be a...human?" he winced, voice gradually dying down. I softened my looks and smiled in agreement, going along.
He was awkward, but he had the spirit.
"Of course. You know? I think you and I are going to get along just fine." I smiled, taking his hands and clasping it. Optimus broke from his serious character and gave me a genuine smile, brightening up.
"I believe we would."
