Chapter 22: 21|Forgot

I was outside and It was getting chilly. It was pretty late. Liam and Scott wanted to practice on their Lacrosse. Mason and Corey were inside the school because Corey was failing physics. I got up from the bench and looked at my brother. I nodded towards the school letting him know I would be there.

I went in running trying to find Mason and Corey. They were about to leave the building.

"Hey! Wait up!" I said as I ran over to them.

"Oh hey Daisy." Mason said with a smile. He checked him jean pockets and sweater pockets. "Shit."

"What happened?" Corey asked Mason.

"I think I forgot my phone, in the class." Mason said.

"I'll go with you, You know the whole ghost rider stuff." I said.

When I got home last night, Scott had told me about the ghost riders. They ride horses and ride lightning. They go around erasing people.

"Ok." Mason said.

"Are you gonna be ok, by yourself?" I asked Corey and he nodded with a grin.

Mason and I walked up the stairs, it was dark in the halls when we finally reached the classroom it was even darker. Mason found his phone as soon as he unlocked it he stood froze.

"Are you ok?" I asked as I came closer to him. He showed me his phone a message from Corey.

"There here, don't move."

The ghost riders are here...Great.

"Come on, we're hiding in the library." I said as I held Mason's hand. We walked down the stairs I checked If it was clear first.

It was clear. We walked over and made it to the library. Then I felt some shadow over come me and Mason. Corey used his disappearance on us as well. We all disappeared and I looked up and saw two Ghost riders.

They're holding a kid with something. I can't quit catch on. Then they just all disappeared.

My mind went blank. And Corey made us visible again. Then I heard the door, and Scott and Liam came in rushing.

"They're here, the g- ghost riders." Mason managed to speak and my mind was just blank.

"Here?!" Scott asked worriedly.

"Yes, just now." I managed to choke out.

"I thought they left when the storm left." Liam said.

"I guess not, because two of them were right up there." I say pointing at the took of the staircase.

"What we're they doing?" Scott asked as he looked at Mason.

"We didn't see when they came in. We only saw them when we turned invisible." Mason said.

"You brought him into this?!" Liam asked Corey as he gritted his teeth.

After Mason had been turned into "The beast." Liam and I felt extremely bad for bringing him into the supernatural word. It was really painful to see him hurt. We didn't want him to re live that.

"Liam, he was just trying to protect Mason." I said putting a hand on Liam's shoulder.

"Uh, they didn't seem to care about us. They walked right passed us." Corey said.

"Them what happened?" Scott said looking over at me.

"Uh...." I thought but I couldn't quit figure. "Then they just jumped down and left."

"That's it?" Liam said.

"Yeah." Mason said.

"Did they take someone? There was nobody else in here?" Scott questioned.

"No. It was just us." Corey said moving his finger over to Mason and I.

Mason and I still felt unsure of what had happened. The next day Mason and I walked into the guys locker room. Thankfully there was no other guys except for Liam. Liam was putting away his gym gear.

"They must have had someone up there.." Mason said starting a conversation once we stopped by Liam. "I mean, that's the only logical explanation."

"Yeah, how do you know?" Liam asked Mason.

"Logic." Mason said.

"And Corey has a hunch." I said shrugging my shoulders.

"A what? Is that like a Chameleon thing?I thought all they could do was disappear." Liam's voice sounded straight up cold.

"Corey, just wants to help." Mason told Liam towards his cold response.

"Yeah? Where was he when we were fighting a nine-foot werewolf to save you. And why was he loyal to Theo for so long?" Liam said with even a colder tone I scoffed at the name "Theo."

"There was a time where we all trusted Theo, including You and Daisy." Mason said as he looked at me then back at Liam.

"W-what does this have to do with me? I only trusted Theo because of-." I said but at the end stuttered. I don't remember who didn't trust him. " Nevermind."

"I'll trust him when he does something trustworthy. Unlike right now, when I can hear his heart racing from across the room." Liam said looking across the room where Corey appeared.

"All you do is hide." Liam said as he got closer to Corey but I got in front to prevent something bad from happening.

"What am I supposed to do! You have claws and fangs." Corey defended himself as he got closer to Liam but Mason did the same thing I did and stood in front of Corey.

"Calm, down." I whisper under my breath so that Liam could hear me. His breath was getting heavier I could smell his anger.

"Liam, look, it's not like chameleons are the apex predator of the animal kingdom. All Corey can do is disappear." Mason said as he stood in front of Corey.

"Then maybe that's what he should do." Liam said through gritted teeth as he tried to get over to Corey.

"Okay, I see this conversation isn't the one we expected, but i'll be back." I said and Mason nodded and I had to drag Liam out of there.

I walked down the halls dragging Liam by his arms and pulled him into a empty classroom.

"What the hell is up your ass!" I say looking at Liam. He was staring at the ground as he sat in one of the stools. "I asked you a question!"

I went over to him and stood in front of him. That's when I got closer and I put my hand on his jaw forcing him to look up at me. His baby blue eyes meeting my brown dark eyes.

"Are you going to answer why you were being such an ass back the-" Liam cut me off smashing his lips onto mine. I stood there in shock. What the hell. Yes i've kissed him before, but I wanted to stop that, not because i was embarrassed being seen by him or anything. But Liam and I never had anything serious other than our friendship. There were few make outs but never more. Maybe it was my hornyness i've been going through or something but in that moment I just wanted him.

I was still in shock and I just couldn't help but kiss him back. His hands traveled through my back he went down and grabbed my thighs he sat me ontop of his lap still un breaking the kiss. I felt a little struggle feeling like I was going to fall. I mean i was sat on his lap on a stool. He put his hands on my hips still so that I wouldn't fall.

I felt his tongue brush over my bottom lip. I opened my mouth a little bit and his tongue invaded my mouth. I let out a groan and gripped on his perfectly nice hair. His hold on my hips slightly tightened as I found myself swishing my hips back and forward. He groaned at the contact. Liam stood up without  breaking the kiss. He grabbed me under my legs and lifted myself against him.

I wrapped my legs around his torso to keep balance. Liam then slammed me roughly towards the wall. I groan and his lips return to mine. Liam pulled his lips away from my mouth and attached his lips to my neck sucking and biting. I moaned at the contact which made him scrape his fangs along the side of my neck.

I pulled away and looked at him straight in his eyes.

"What? did I do something wrong?" He panted trying to catch his breath.

"No- we shouldn't be doing this." I said and a frown appeared on Liam.

"We do this all the time." Liam said with crinkled brows.

"Not like this. And correction, we used too." I said as Liam put me down.

"Two days ago you were like "So, are you gonna help my hornyness go away?"". Liam said. "Thats what I'm doing, i'm helping you."

I didn't say anything and just pressed my lips back on his. Maybe I just wanted sex. Or maybe- actually there's no maybe. I definitely wanted to have sex. But definitely not here i'm a classroom.

I pulled away once again earning a huff from him.

"Not here." I said.

"My dads out working a shift right now. My mom is also at work." Liam said as he looked hungrily at my lips. "We have a free period so we can use it." Liam said winking.

"Okay, then looks like it's set." I said as he held my hand out we walked over to the classroom door and opened it. We've been stopped by Mason.

"What were you guys doing?" Mason asked a huge grin plastered on his face.

"I never knew calming Liam down involved Intimate activities." Mason said and Liam's cheeks turned a bright pink.

"I hate you." I said with a chuckle. "You, know we can talk later. I have - Things to do."

"Ok, Have fun. And please use protection." Mason said whispering the last part.

Once we got to Liam's bedroom he waisted no seconds and placed his soft lips to mine. He walked me over the the bed still without breaking the kiss. He sat on the bed and I got on his lap my legs on each side of him straddling him. I began to grind my hips against his jean material covering his crotch as we both kissed hungrily.

"Is this gonna become a weakly occasion, i'll add it to my calendar if so." Liam breathed out as I felt him smirk.

I walked in to the School library where there stood Mason, Liam and Corey. They explained to me that Corey and Liam had now held hands. And Liam saw everything Corey saw as invisible and they found a card on top of the stairs. Where the ghost riders were at last night.

"It's like in physics. It wasn't there until you saw it. Then it became real." Mason said.

"It's Schrödinger's Cat." I said referring to the subject Mr. Douglas was talking about the other day in class. "The quantum state of a superposition. Too see something is to change its very existence. It changed reality."

"I still don't get it." Corey said.

"What do you think it is?" Liam asked.

"I don't know. It looks like a library card. Except it's blank." Corey said.

Liam looked over at the turned on computer and he snatched the card off of Coreys hand and swiped it along the card reader of the computer.

"Jake Sullivan." Mason says reading the name that popped up on the computer. "He was in the physics lab last night."

"I completely forgot about him." Corey says.

"Same." I bugged in.

"Me too, we have Spanish together." Liam said his eyes on the computer screen.

"They erased him." I said realizing.

"Your hunch was right." Liam says a small grin appeared his face as he looked over at Corey.
