Coach has initiated me into playing Lacrosse. That's why right now, Liam and I are in the locker room with Corey and Mason. I was not trying to play because I wasn't in the mood to, Scott was leaving and everything was so bad for me. Stiles left three months ago.
Scott is leaving tomorrow. Ugh it's just a big mess. I was complaining about going out to play that's why Mason was here to talk some sense into me.
"I can't handle this." I whined as I laid on the bench. Mason and Corey sat me up and took my shirt off to put on my Lacrosse gear.
"Yes, you can. And you've handled so much worse than this." Mason said as he put a shirt on me.
I looked over at Liam and like a usual dumbass he was just standing, shirtless.
"Cover up, Dunbar. Nobody wants to see you." I said as Liam furrowed his brows.
"You weren't complaining about it a few months ago." Liam said as a small smirk appeared in his lips.
"I totally forgot you guys hooked up." Mason said as he slapped his forehead.
"Yeah, cause Daisy was in heat season." Liam said as he chuckled.
"Shut up, Idiot." I muttered the last part. "But seriously cover up no one wants to see you."
"My ladies on tinder do." Liam said with a chuckle.
"You have tinder?!" Mason asked surprisedly as Corey chuckled.
"He seriously downloaded a dating app because he can't get girls from school, how sad." I said as I fake pouted.
"Not like you have a boyfriend." Liam said.
"Trust me. If I wanted a boyfriend I would have one by now. But I don't, boys are just Idiots and a waste of my time." I said as I crossed my arms on my chest.
"Liam, can you help me with this, please?" Corey asked Liam as he was trying to put the Lacrosse gear on me.
"Why is your arm so heavy?" Liam asked as he tried to take my hand away from my chest to put on my Lacrosse gear.
Mason's phone went off and he quickly answered it.
"Okay, Scott says Coach is losing it." Mason said as he got off his phone.
"Scott's leaving too." I said as I fell to the side but Corey and Liam put a hand on me so I wouldn't.
"Going to college is not leaving. So get your ass up, If not i'm not gonna be able to be captain." Liam said as he looked at me.
"It's called growing up, and we're all gonna be going to different colleges eventually." Mason said and Corey wiggled his brows at him.
"I thought we we're both applying to UCLA?" Corey asked Mason.
"You guys are going to the same college?!" I asked as I looked up at Mason and Corey.
"That, is not, the point." Mason said as he finishes putting the gear on me.
"What is the point?" I said as I slouched onto the bench, again.
"The point is, that summer's almost over..." Mason said as he dragged me over to the door with Corey's help. Liam just walked and didn't budge helping Corey and Mason. "We're about to be seniors. This is about to be the best year of our entire lives, and Liam is still captain of the lacrosse team, so, come one. We got too-" Mason said but it cut him off when we got out the locker room door he tripped and I fell beside Mason and Corey.
"fuck." I groaned as I grabbed my shoulder standing up.
Mason and Corey got up, Mason got another message and he looked at Liam.
"Coach is making, Diaz captain." Mason said and Liam's eyes went wide.
Liam grabbed me from my legs and tossed me over his shoulder.
"You're such a dick!" I said as I punched the back off Liam's back.
"Sorry, sweetheart, We gotta go play." Liam said as he walked out to the hallway. He literally bumped into someone and made me fall. I looked up and there was Theo.
"W-what are you doing here? I thought you left to France or something- oh wait never mind that was Issac-" I said as I got off of Theo and stood up.
"Hey to you too, Daisy." Theo said.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Oh- Corey said that I should try and try out for the Lacrosse team, he said It's a good way to start making friends." Theo said with a small smirk. "And I should at least try and graduate."
"Okay, I'll be going now, are you gonna come with us or not?" I asked and Liam nudged me. "Ow, what the fuck was that?"
"Yeah just let me get my gear." Theo said and I nodded as I saw him leave into the locker room.
"What the hell was that?!" Liam almost snapped.
"What? I was being nice. He saved my life, he at least deserves to have a friend." I said as I shrugged.
Theo came out a few minutes later and we all walked out onto the field.
Scott, it was his last day as assistant coach so he was obviously there. Nolan was goalie and Diaz was throwing the ball into the net when Liam got in front of the goal and caught the ball. Liam passed the ball over to me and I ran towards the other side to get it to the goal, but lucky me, Diaz tripped me, making me fall hard onto my back.
Scott ran over to me and so did Liam and Theo. I felt this sudden anger rush through my veins. I let out a small growl and felt my fangs coming out.I looked at Scott as I looked at him slightly my eyes we're amber glowing. Scott and Liam got in front of me so that none of the other guys saw. Theo crouched down and covered my eyes with his hands.
"Daisy, you're eyes." Scott whispered and I shut my eyes as I heard Coach making his way over.
"Tiny McCall! What the hell was that?" Coach yelled.
I didn't respond, my eyes were still closed tight, until I opened them again, I felt them go back to the normal brown. I looked around and Coach had a frightened face. I looked at the directions he was looking at, there was a wolf. I don't know If it was supernatural. it had blood dripping down his mouth.
"Everyone, stay back." Scott said everyone stood back except for Nolan, who reeked with fear.
Scott looked at Liam and Liam went over to pull Nolan back. I got up so that now I was on my feet. Scott flashed his bright red Alpha eyes at the wolf and it left.
â¢â¢â¢
It was quite dark after captain Lacrosse. Scott, Liam and so went to see where that wolf that was out on the field came from.
"You think it's a, wolf-wolf or..." I say as I walked beside Scott.
"I think it's just a wolf." Scott said, as we made a stop and found that wolf from the field...Dead.
The wolf dead and a bunch of spiders came out of it. It sent a shiver down my spine.
"Scott." Liam said in a whisper. Scott and I looked up and saw from a few feet away there was about thirty- Wolves dead.
They we're pulled up, and they all had blood, they reeked with fear.
â¢â¢â¢
After Scott took care of the wolves he got back home after dropping Liam off. He wanted me to help him pack.
"Whatever happened to those wolves was definitely supernatural." I said as I folded some of Scott's close and put it in his suitcase.
"Well, I wouldn't say definitely. It could have been a parasitic infection. I mean, we get dogs that come into the clinic that have botflies coming out of their skin." Scott said as he folded the last piece of clothing, putting it in his suitcase.
"Can that happen to people?" I asked if pure curiosity.
"Yeah." Scott said as he zipped up the suitcase. "They crawl under the skin, lay some eggs, and eventually they..."
Scott through the suitcase onto the bed and it bursts open.
"Burts." Scott said as he gave up and sat on his bed. I sat next to him. "So, you wanna talk about it?"
"I thought we we're talking about it." I said and Scott looked at me.
"No, that's not what i'm talking about." Scott said and I realized what he was talking about, Me , wolfing out in the field.
"Oh, that... Me." I said as I sighed.
"Yeah, You. You're fangs... You're eyes...The growl." Scott said.
"Well, this sounds like we're gonna talk about this-" I said, I didn't really want to talk about it. I haven't wolfed out in a long time.
"You have to remember your mantra. What three things can not long be hidden?" Scott as me and I frowned.
"Scott, I haven't used that sinc-" I said but got cut off by Scott.
"Hey, what three things cannot long be hidden?" Scott said softly I inhaled a long breath in.
"The sun... The moon... The truth." I whispered to myself and I started to feel a bit better.
"Again." Scott said.
"The sun... The moon... The truth." I said and let out the breath I was holding.
"Better." Scott said with a soft smile.
"You don't have another suitcase, do you?" I asked Scott.
"I've got duct tape." He said and I chuckled.

I was in School going into the councilors' room for Senior registration. I walked in and didn't recognize her, she was a new councilor.
I passed her my papers and she looked at them.
"You can sit down, Daisy." She said with a small smile and I sat down. "I'm the new councilor, Ms.- Monroe."
I nodded, and she kept looking at my papers.
"You're taking physical education?" Ms. Monroe asked.
"Yeah." I said quickly.
"Why?" She asked and I looked up at her.
"I heard it's an easy A. My GPA isn't the best right now." I said with a shrug.
"Okay, has there been something in you're mind?" She asked and My head snapped in her direction.
"No, no, nothing at all." I said.
"I just want you to know that i'm here for you guys. I know I haven't been in the position all that long, but... I also know that students at this school have seen and been through things that don't exactly with easy explanation. So whatever we talk about will stay just between us. Is there any thing you need to discuss with me?" She asked and I looked at her confused. I wasn't so sure if we were talking about the senior registration anymore. She was a little off which i didn't like .
"No, I think i'm good, thanks." I said and she let me go.

Mason, Theo, Liam and I walked into the school library, Mason and I have accepted that Theo can be our friends, except for Liam who is still skeptical and sketchy about him. I had told Mason about the Wolves and the spiders yesterday he said he could help us.
"There's a book, north American cryptozoology, and they have this entire chapter on spiders. And they even have a section on scarabs, too." Mason said as we walked through the library shelf's.
"What's a scarab?" Theo asked.
"Oh, you don't want to know." Mason said as he looked at Theo . Theo just nodded slightly confused.
We made it to the shelf and there was literally no books.
"What happened to all the books?" Liam and I asked in unison.
"Uh, maybe someone's writing a paper, on a mythology and perstition. Like, a hundred papers." Mason said.
It was silent until there was screaming and yelling coming from down the hall. We rushed over and there was a classroom filled with rats. I jumped on Theo's back not knowing. I hate rats,, with a passion. The rats were coming from the vents.
"Oh my god. no, no, I'm leaving." I said as I held onto Theo for dear life.
"You're a werewolf and you're afraid of rats?" Theo whispered to me.
"Get me out of here!" I shrieked.
"Looks like we're gonna need a book on rats, too." Mason said.
