Time stood still, my breath caught in my throat. I felt Ronan and Alex's grip on my arms tighten as if to stop me from falling. it only occurred to me everyone was staring when I heard my name being whispered by Alex. I zoned back in and realised my face was wet and tears were streaming down my face. "you ready?" I heard someone ask, I couldn't tell if it was Alex or Ronan because my head was spinning and I honestly couldn't feel any part of my body I was numb. I felt my arms being pulled as they began to descend the steps. I wasn't ready for this, I couldn't do it.
We walked around the edge of the room and by now the music had started up again and everyone had gone back to there own business, well almost everyone. I was looking at the floor trying very hard not to fall over due to nerves. we stopped and I saw a pair of beautiful blue shoes I looked up and came face to face with the person who I loved me than anyone else, my mum.
"Were going to leave you two alone for a bit to catch up. you know where we are if you need us" Alex said looking directly at me." will you be alright? were only a shout away if you need anything at all and i mean anything well come running for you" Ronan spoke with such intensity. I internally laughed at how protective they were over me with my own mum. " Ill be fine, don't worry about me." I spoke barley above a whisper.
Thy walked of and I was left standing opposite her. "how are you sweetie? are you okay, please tell me they haven't hurt you in anyway and oh please tell me that you got away from the pack safely?" she spoke so fast I barley heard her. I was still zoned out, I was just so glad to see her alive and safe.
