“Why didn’t you stop him?” I asked slightly enraged.

“I’m not going to be in the middle of an angry Alpha Prince Hybrid and his pregnant wife unless I’m asking for a death wish. The pack needs to move now. My clan has already departed.” She stated.

Kiara Mane P.O.V

“We’re too late.” I said seeing as half of them had already departed.

Shane transformed into his grey being as wings alike a bat sprout from his back ready to take off and follow our clan.

“Let’s go.” He called.

I shifted too and we both flew over to where they were headed.

Achilles Argent P.O.V

“Sir, we spotted vampires marching our way.” One of my warriors notified me.

“Are the vervain bombs ready?” I asked.

“They’re ready.” He says.

“The wolfsbane bullets?” I raised an eyebrow.

“Ready, sir.” He replied.

I smirked.

Let the games begin.

Gabriella Zades P.O.V

“March now.” Gabriel called out.

“Where’s Lucifer?” I questioned.

“He’d already went.” He says.

“What?” I asked.

“No time for questions, we need to leave now.” Gabriel said hurriedly.

I felt a tug on my left hand as I turned to face Octavius.

“I need you to stay here.” He says.

“What? No.” I pulled my hand away from him.

“I can’t focus knowing you’re in danger.” He stated.

“I can take care of myself.” I huffed.

“Do you understand what’s at stake here?” I cut in.

“Yes.” I answered.

“No, you don’t.” He neared towards me, with his height, I had to face upwards to maintain eye contact.

“I can’t afford to lose you. For my sake, don’t go. Wait until I return.” He pleaded with worried eyes.

“You mean if you return.” I furrowed my eyebrows.

“You’re staying and that’s final.” He ordered.

What?

“It’s my duty as part of an alpha to protect this pack, even if it means sacrificing myself for them.” I argued.

“Maybe for once do your duty as my mate.” The words left his mouth before he could stop them.

He clenched his jaw several times, closing his eyes for a few seconds to calm his temper down but a glimpse of regret in his eyes soon followed.

“What did you mean by that?” I questioned, confused.

“Octavius, let’s go.” I heard Zachary’s voice call out to him resulting both mines and Octavius attention to snap towards his direction.

“We need to go.” Octavius stated lowly towards me, backing away.

“No, wait.” I said making Octavius to halt his steps and face me.

“Octavius, now.” Zachary hurried at Octavius.

Octavius gave me one last glance before jogging over to Zachary.

Gabriel Zades P.O.V

“Has everyone gathered under their own division?” Rain, Valentine’s sister questioned.

“The Alphas are ready. We will lead in the front.” Gabriella answered Rain.

“The Betas and Deltas will follow our trails.” I said.

“The Lunas and Omegas will be left at the packhouse to take care of the elders, teenagers and cubs.” Alpha Nathanial told.

“Where’s Lucifer?” Abigail asked.

Lorraine and I looked at each other.

“He kind of left early.” Lorraine responded.

“What?” Abigail screeched.

“Wasn’t he supposed to lead us? I told you we never should have trusted him!” She rambled.

“Enough!” Eric, her mate shushed her.

“Who’s going to lead the pack now?” Jacob, Rain’s mate queried.

“I am. I know the plans.” I said.

It’s time.

Eric Prince P.O.V

We shifted into our wolves as we strode towards the hunter’s realm.

‘Why do you always have to shut me down in front of everyone.’ I heard my mate, Abigail mind link.

I ignored as I followed Gabriel’s trail.

‘Answer me!’ Her voice echoed in my head.

‘Now is not the time.’ I groaned.

‘I don’t care, why do it?’ She yelped in my head.

My anger was rising.

I halted, making her halt in her tracks as well while the others continued ensuing behind Gabriel.

I looked over at my prideful wife and mate as she lowly growled at me.

‘Answer me now!’ She snarled.

‘It’s because you’re the most difficult being I’ve ever encountered. Sometimes I wonder why did fate even pair us up. It’s because I’m patient we have been able to keep the relationship up. Now stop being selfish, we have your little sister to save.’ I snarled back before continuing to run behind the pack.
