Chapter 89: CHAPTER 87

MY SIX BOYFRIENDS ARE IN A BOYBAND - Polyamourous RomanceWords: 12112

"Do you think he'll be okay?" Draco's voice was the first thing Alex heard. The world was dark, spinning, and he had a coppery taste in his mouth.

"He crashed into a gargoyle, but he'll be fine," then came Frank's voice, like an echo.

"Those things should have a caution label," Paul said.

"The grapple gun is technically a gun," Draco said, "Do you think it needs a caution label?"

"Dónde está la rubia enojada?!" Alex shouted, sitting up. He was in the Solar, on the couch, with the three boys around him, "Oh... Hey guys." His voice was hoarse from sleep. He cleared his throat, rubbed his forehead and grunted, "A la bestia! My head is killing me..."

"You almost kill yourself," Frank put up his bionic hand, "This is not a movie, Alex. It takes time to master these things."

"Yeah, yeah, I was thinking with my dick," Alex rubbed his forehead again, "So, where's Kasey?"

The boys looked at each other in confusion.

"The angry blonde?" Draco asked and Frank nudged him.

"Oh yeah! Guys! I met an evil angel!" Alex said, laughing and hissing, "God! She's so hot!"

"What do you mean, you 'met' an evil angel?" Paul frowned.

"Kasey," Alex bit his lip. "Evie will always be my sexy angel of light, but Kasey? She's darkness!"

"You're talking about my fake-sister and you know it, right?" Evie asked, drinking some coffee by the kitchen counter, elegant as always. "BC-13 is keeping an eye on her, and he has orders not to let her get close to you, even though she hasn't even looked for you but, that's how it is Kasey anyway."

"Evie, you know me." Alex said nervously. "I fall in love with more than one person at a time and I wanted to know, I don't know, it's just that I love you and Kasey is an amazing girl so... Do you think... I don't want to make you uncomfortable, but would it bother you if there were two girls in the poly relationship? I mean, Kasey and you?"

"Alex,'" Frank sighed, "You can't date people outside the group."

"That's why I decided to ask before I did something stupid... Again," Alex rubbed his face. It hurt too much, "I mean, Zeth is technically with Evie and Finn at the same time. It's always going to be within the group and if Kasey is a part of it, I don't know. Would that bother you, Evie? Or anyone else?"

"I'm not sure how I feel about that." Evie said, because she was much more guilty than Alex for having secretly dated Zeth for so many years and for what happened in Vegas, so she couldn't judge him for flirting with Kasey, but at the same time she was angry with him. Was she a hypocrite? But if Kasey was in the group, there would be no problem, right? But what if Alex did something like that again? Kasey wasn't very modest either. This required trust and those two were not very trustworthy, but neither was Evie considering... Damn it. This was so confusing! "Alex, I have no idea. I wouldn't mind Kasey joining, I speak only for myself, but you and her are too... Sociable?"

Evie felt bad. She had already kissed Frank and hadn't said a word about her love affair with Zeth and little slip with Alex yet.

"Zeth would kick you out of the band if you even dare to even kiss someone outside the relationship, Alex," Draco said, "Maybe we should sign some kind of contract to avoid something like this from happening again?"

"Okay, and what if we add Kasey to our poly thingy and sign contracts?" Alex sat up straighter.

"Alex," Frank sighed, "Are you feeling okay? I think the blow left you confused. Are you talking about us accepting a trained killer into our poly relationship? It's the stupidest thing that..."

"Excuse me?" Evie frowned and Frank gasped.

"Oh! Sorry, my love."

"My love?" Alex raised an eyebrow.

"Yes," Evie blushed, "It's official."

"Evie and Frank are in a relationship now," Draco clapped and jumped a little, like an excited high school girl.

"Do you think Kasey loves Alex?" Frank asked and Evie shook her head.

"I doubt it."

"And don't even think about having an affair, Alex!" Draco said.

"It was not an affair! I just flirted a little and it turned out that we both clicked!"

"No affairs," Frank said, "No secrets. That could ruin everything, wouldn't it, Evie?"

"Y-Yeah," She gulped. What an ill-timed question, Frank!

"Fair enough," Alex pouted.

"Alex," Paul said with a stern voice, "Please. You just woke up and need to calm down a bit. We'll ask Zeth for permission later."

"Well, yes, but I want to be with Evie and Kasey!" Alex said, standing up, "I'll go find her and try to convince her!"

"We got a concert tonight and we will leave in half an hour, why don't you just go freshen up and get ready?" Frank suggested.

"Fine! I'll go to my room." Alex nodded, grunting, already walking toward the hall of doors.

Evie and Frank shared a knowing look and rolled their eyes.

"We already blocked the window, Alex!" Evie yelled.

"It's not fair!" Alex returned. Draco and Paul patted him on the shoulders, "Girl, you're like the girl of my dreams. And Kasey? She's the girl of my nightmares that I want because I'm an idiot! You two are the best of both worlds!"

"I better get used to hearing the guys talking about how in love they are with you, my love," Frank let out a sigh and walked over to the counter to pour himself some coffee. "But it's okay. I want you to be the happiest girl in the world," and he gave Evie a kiss on the cheek.

"Thanks, Frank," she said, looking at Alex, "Listen. After the concert maybe you can go on a date with Kasey, I don't mind, but don't rush it, okay Alex?"

"Fine!" Alex rolled his eyes.

He knew the others would try to talk him out of it. Maybe it was a bit silly, but he wanted to try. He kept thinking about how beautiful Kasey was and how he'd wanted to kiss her so bad. This hadn't happened to him since he met Evie, and just like that time, this felt just as forbidden and morally wrong.

But Kasey was just like him, and that was not easy to find.

"Hey, since when has that been there?" Alex asked, pointing at the dining room wall that was no longer a wall, but rather, a set of stairs that led to a lower level that Alex didn't know existed.

"Baphelise just left, she's already finished the lower floor for the Fifth Octave guys to move in," Draco said, "She laughed when she saw you passed out actually, and then she said that she had to urgently return to the library because destiny was on its way, whatever that means."

Then the door opened and everyone turned at the same time.

"Damn! I'm exhausted!" Finn entered the Solar, drenched in sweat, "Now I understand why Zeth never has time for anything and... Oh! Hello guys! And Evie."

"Hi," everyone said in unison.

"Too much work for one person huh?" Paul asked and Finn nodded with a groan, walking towards the kitchen.

"I think I should take a break for a while." Finn rubbed his neck, "I don't know about you guys, but I don't really have the energy right now to deal with anything. Can I have some water please? And..." Finn pointed at Frank and Evie's hands together, fingers intertwined, "Oh! So you two are actually a couple now!"

"Y-Yeah." Frank laughed and nodded. Evie smiled nervously at Finn while he pulled a bottle of water from the refrigerator and took a long drink, letting out a huge breath.

"I have to get ready to go to the hotel," Evie said, looking at her schoolgirl clothes, "I'll go change into my uniform." She kissed Frank's cheek, walked toward the door sexily as always and waved, "See you around guys. Love you all!" she disappeared behind a door, closing it behind herself.

There was a long silence in the air.

"Love you all?" Paul asked quietly. "I mean, I am here too."

"So, Frank!" Finn chuckled, looking at Frank with a huge smile on his face, patting his shoulder, "Man, you guys looked so good holding hands just now. Did you kiss her?"

"Finn, I didn't kiss her, she kissed me," Frank told him and Draco burst into laughter.

"Oh my god, you should look at your face right now, Frank!" the vampire cackled, "You're so in love!"

"Shut up," Frank blushed.

"But did you want to kiss her first?" Draco wiggled his eyebrows. "Cmon, tell me the truth, Frank, come on, come on!"

"Yeah, I had been wanting to for a while," Frank admitted and Draco squealed happily, swinging his arms, "But I figured that was kind of inappropriate so I refrained. Is it weird that she kissed me first?"

"Aw, c'mon, it's cute." Draco insisted.

"Really?" Frank looked hopeful and Draco nodded his head way too fast and smiley.

"It's just so hot that she was the one to do it." Draco smiled devilishly. "We all knew that it was a matter of time! It was obvious that you two always loved each other!"

"It was?!" Frank gasped and everyone nodded.

"Yeah, you were the only one to miss it," Finn said and Frank groaned.

"You're clumsy at hiding when you love someone, Frank," Draco was jumping in his place.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Frank asked Draco, who shrugged his shoulders.

"Because it was none of my business," the vampire simply replied and Paul nodded his agreement.

"Well, congratulations, man, you are hers now," Alex laughed.

"Thanks, Alex. I just hope everything works out from now on. And maybe you and Kasey..."

"The Angry Blonde and Alex?!" Finn shook his head quickly, "Absolutely not! We don't even know her well!"

"Finn! You must meet her! She's amazing!" Alex stated with loving eyes lost on the ceiling, "She is as perfect as Evie, but as imperfect as me."

"Explosive, impulsive, flirty, fickle, volatile, dangerous, vain and a bully?" Finn raised an eyebrow.

"Well, she is me but better." Alex corrected him, "She is calmer, less impatient, less loud and less aggressive. There was another reason though, but I didn't realise it until after I talked to her."

"And that is?" Finn and everyone around leaned closer.

"She is not afraid nor worried about being herself," Alex continued, smiling widely, "She is not afraid to say things as they are, nor is she afraid of public opinion or if what she says is controversial or morally grey. She is herself and she understands me perfectly!"

"Well, be careful," Finn whispered, "It sounds like Everett might fall in love with her, too."

"Or Zeth," Draco snapped but Finn trumpeted his mouth.

"That asshole only loves his job and his reflection," Finn rolled his eyes and took a sip of his water.

"You had an argument?" Paul asked and Finn nodded.

"Worse."

"Oh man," Frank held Finn's hand, "I'm... So sorry to hear that."

"Yeah, but I've found out my heart was in the wrong place," Finn smirked, locking eyes with Frank, "I have found someone who actually cares about me, you know?"

"Well, I'm glad to know that you've opened your eyes." Frank bit his lip, blushing, looking away, "I guess you already know, right? It's always been something physical, I think, or maybe curiosity, but Draco said I wasn't discreet with Evie so I guess I wasn't discreet with you either, huh?"

All the boys remained silent, eyes wide and blushing.

"Wait... What?" Finn frowned. Alex and Paul looked at each other. Draco was staring blankly at the floor, "What do you mean you weren't discreet with me?"

"Yeah, you owe us an explanation, Frank," Alex added.

"Weren't you straight?" Paul shot him a weird look too.

"Wait, I got lost in my head... What are we talking about?" Draco looked around.

"Wait, Finn. Who were you talking about?" Frank turned red as a tomato.

"I was talking about Evie," Finn frowned, "Frank... What the hell?"

Frank gulped audibly.

"Uh... Well... I... Umm... You see..." Frank stuttered, scratching the back of his neck.

"Tell us what the hell that was about, Frank!" Alex yelled, "Since when?!"

"Oh dear," Frank covered his mouth and looked at Draco and Alex, "Deja vú."

"This is so cute and so awkward," Draco said, "You two would make a cute couple but what the hell?!"

"I got confused!" Frank lost his mind, and Finn still didn't say anything.

"And this is the kind of poor communication I was talking about, but we'll talk about this later," Paul said, checking the time on his phone, "I think we better get ready to go to the hotel. My bandmates are already there actually. I'll meet you outside the castle. And please don't kill each other."
