Jayden couldn't help laughing. Enoch's shirt barely got past the moobs and then were blocked by a giant belly and his shorts were so stretched they barely got past his upper thigh. "Yes hahaha very funny. Now can I take this thing off?" Enoch said grumpily. "Not if you want to feed me." Jayden said cutely. "Ugghh I'm sorry but that isn't worth it." Enoch said walking back into the bedroom getting changed. "How do yours fit you anyway? It's so unfair." Enoch said to Jayden as they walked out the door. "I guess I just bought big sizes." Jayden lied. He had switched out of his old jogging clothes because they fit, yes but not well and they were very uncomfortable. They got in the car, Jayden putting his backpack in the backseat and sitting down letting Enoch drive. "You ready?" Enoch said. "Of course noxie boo." Jayden said as Enoch drove out of the drive way and into the street before putting his foot down on the pedal.
A FEW MINUTES LATER:
Jayden and Enoch arrived at the mountain they were going to hike up. Of course not to the peak or anything just high enough to get a decent view for their picnic. Which was the part Enoch was looking forward too. He held Jayden's hand giving him a peck on the cheek making Jayden blush as they started they're hike. Enoch was struggling within the first few steps but Jayden looked just fine. The only thing that kept Enoch going was the promise of a picnic at the end because he couldn't resist food. He knew that the food was on his boyfriend's back in a backpack but he tried not to think about it. They continued to hike and Enoch's lungs were burning. "Come on slow poke!" Jayden teased him, "what happened to 'I still have muscle under this fat'?" Enoch just continued. "Why *pant* are you *pant* so good at this?" Enoch said panting. "I don't know I guess your just extra fat." Jayden continued to tease obviously attempting to motivate his boyfriend. And it was working as Enoch kept going despite his entire body complaining. And a few minutes later even Jayden was getting tired. He had started sweating a minute before and his stamina was quickly depleting. Enoch could tell Jayden didn't have the same motivation or stubbornness that kept Enoch going. Luckily they found a ledge and they looked at the view, It was breathtaking. Enoch could even see the beach from up here! Jayden and Enoch both collapsed on the floor together holding hands. "We should probably start setting up the picnic." Jayden said. "But I don't want to." Enoch complained jokingly making Jayden laugh. They eventually did set up the picnic putting down the picnic blanket and laying all the food on it. Enoch started stuffing his face without a thought and Jayden took some bites but much more slowly then Enoch. "Nox I need to come clean with you about something." Jayden said tentatively. "What?" Enoch said. "I've been...going on jogs behind your back. I just don't like being fat. It was all a mistake in the first place and I just kept it because you liked it and you were going through enough already. And I don't have any self hatred or anything I just prefer being skinny." Jayden said. Enoch honestly didn't know how to feel. He started questioning himself. Why? Was the 'I'll love you no matter what.' A lie? Was him liking the fat a lie? Did he like him like this? So many questions all swirling around his head each one making him more anxious then the next. At some point Jayden grabbed his shoulders but he recoiled back. He was getting dizzy. He felt like throwing up. And by the smell he was guessing he did. He started trying centre himself. He had a therapist when he was younger and one thing he said stuck in his mind. 'Try thinking about what you know is real and not real when you start having trouble. Enoch took a deep breath. His name was Enoch, he was gay, his parents hated him, he had 2 siblings, he had a boyfriend, he liked him? Did he like him? It was confusing and he decided to leave that alone for now. He was having a picnic and he had just thrown up. Slowly he opened his eyes to see Jayden crying. He instinctively hugged him and made a check in his mind. He loved him. "It's ok I'm sorry. So so sorry, I was just a little panicked. I get like that sometimes ok. It's going to be ok." Enoch whispered to Jayden while hugging him. "I was so worried. I'll get fat again anything just don't do that again!" Jayden said. "You don't have to do anything." Enoch said. "Although it would be pretty nice If I had a cute chubby boyfriend." Enoch joked grabbing Jayden's belly which had shrunken a lot. "Ok if you say so. I just missed being skinny a little that's all." Jayden said. "Well if that's all then, do you want a slice of cake?" Enoch asked. "Probably not since you threw up all over it." Jayden said making Enoch look at the now yellow stained cake with chunks of food on it. "Let's just leave it for animals and go." Jayden said. "I don't think that's a good idea. We could just chuck it all off a cliff into that river." Enoch said pointing out the river far, far, down the cliff. "Fine" Jayden said pushing all the food off before taking the picnic blanket and tupper ware, and putting it in his backpack. They began the hike down which was much easier then up but midway through Enoch got a text. He checked it and saw it was from Alyce. "Hey Enoch Jacob is inviting all his friends to the beach to do surfer stuff or whatever and he invited you and Jayden! Isn't that so cool? He also invited Tom because I swear Tom sees him more then I do! Anyways it's next Sunday so see you then!" Enoch smiled at how many exclamation points his sister used. She was always bubbly and enthusiastic. He showed Jayden the text. "So are we surfing or what?" He asked. "No just a beach day we don't have to surf." Enoch said before continuing to walk down the mountain. He sure did hope so
