Enoch came out and his sibling both hugged him. "Are you ok?" Alyce double checked. "Yes Alyce I'm fine" Enoch said. "Well good because I have to get going. I'm sorry but me and Jacob have to go on our honey moon. We're going to Fiji" Alyce said before quickly going outside and driving away. "Remember if you need anything just call me" Tom said before eventually also leaving. "Do you want to make out?" Jayden joked. Enoch grinned and before he knew it he was kissing Jayden on the couch playing with his jiggly belly. "Do you want lunch?" Enoch asked Jayden. "Of course" Jayden said.
1 HOUR LATER:
Jayden saw the delicious food. But then got a little suspicious of Enoch. No one is that depressed and that sad and suddenly bounce back to being normal that fast. Something was up with Enoch. To be honest he might just be back into the toxic need to be good enough mindset. "Nox are you-" Jayden said trying to confront him about it before getting cut off by Enoch stuffing the delicious food in his mouth. Enoch fed him only giving him just enough time to breath so Jayden couldn't speak. Jayden knew he was trying to avoid it and Jayden wouldn't let him. So when Enoch tried feeding him again he slapped his hand away. "What's wrong? Is the food to rich? Is it the stuffing? I'm sorry I just assumed..." Enoch said his voice trailing off. "Look Nox we need to talk" Jayden said. "About what?" Enoch said. "I know you feel like you have to please everyone and be perfect for everyone especially me but you don't" Jayden said stroking his cheek. "What are you talking about? I don't do that. I'm perfectly fine" Enoch said nervously, "There's nothing wrong. Nothing. We can just go back to our lives" Jayden was getting really worried. "Hey look at me calm down" Jayden said. Enoch was fidgeting. "Litterally I can do anything you want. I'm completely fine" Enoch said fidgeting in his lap. "That's the thing Nox. I don't want you to do what I want. That's not why I love you. I love you because your smart and funny and creative and supportive and even if you don't know it, brave" Jayden said holding his hands. "Look If that's what you want" Enoch said. "No it's what you want. It's not about me. And even if it takes a million years I'll make you learn that" Jayden said before lightly kissing him on the cheek. "Do something you want. Like write a book like you've always wanted. Keep a garden like you've always wanted." Jayden said. "I have to go get groceries" Jayden said needing an excuse to leave Enoch to his own devices and some time to think about what he wanted.
A FEW MINUTES LATER:
"There's nothing wrong with me. I just need to be better. Act better. Cook better. Look better. That's what he meant right? Yeah I'll do that." Enoch said before getting to work.
HALF AN HOUR LATER:
When Jayden walked in he saw the entire house was spotless, there was snacks and drinks, there was a garden and a book. "I cleaned the house, prepared snacks started a garden and started writing a novel in only half an hour. Isn't it incredible what you can do when you put your mind to it!" Enoch said. Enoch then slapped him across the face.
