"Hello Elena, Arianna, it's nice to see you again." she says in that stupid no emotion voice. I don't think she is capable of showing any emotion, except maybe cruelty.
"Again?" Jenna demands, still completely confused...and pissed.
"So you're the women who is dating my husband." Isobel looks Jenna up and down, like Jenna could never be better than Isobel. So wrong Mama. "I need to speak to the girls, can I come in?" Isobel asks.
"No, you can't." I glare.
"I need to speak to you two." she insists, still looking annoyingly calm.
"Let me think about that...no!" I slam the door in her face, not giving her time to respond. I look back over at Jenna and see a tear running down her face. Shit...
"You two knew she was alive?" Jenna whispers sounding heartbroken. Elena and I don't answer, we just look at the ground. "Ric? John? Did they know?!"
"We can explain everything, Jenna-" Jenna cuts Elena off before she can finish.
"No." Jenna shakes her head, running up the stairs. Elena follows her up calling out to her, but that won't help. Jenna needs time to take everything in, Elena pestering her won't help anything.
I sink down to the floor, leaning against the front door. I sigh, looking up at the ceiling. Why does nothing ever go right for Elena and I? It seems like whenever something is good, it turns bad right away.
Can't we just get a fucking break?
------------------
"Shouldn't you be with Isobel and Elena right now?" Damon questions as we walk up the stairs towards Luca's apartment. I kind of ditched my sister, and decided to go with Damon. Jeremy and Bonnie are with us but Bonnie is better than Isobel. Sometimes.
"I should but I don't want to be. I would rather find a witch massacre site." I shrug, lacing my hand with Damon's hand.
"It's exciting stuff isn't it?" he smiles.
"The best." I agree, letting out a little laugh. Bonnie and Jeremy look over at us with weird looks. I glare at them, flipping them both off. Jeremy rolls his eyes and Bonnie looks like she wants to set me on fire.
We get to his apartment, and Damon pushes open the door slowly. He sticks his hand in to see if he can get in, it goes through. "Yup, everybody is dead." Damon smirks, walking into the room. My eyes can't help but go to the dead kid on the ground. His body completely covered in burns. Poor guy...
"We should pack up the grimoires, they spent years collecting them. I want to make sure they are safe." Bonnie tells us, coming over to stand by Damon and I.
"You know, we could just get another match and cremate him." Damon jokes, looking at Luca's dead body.
"Don't be disrespectful." Bonnie sighs, "Not to him." she whispers, looking down at his body. Aw, did her and witch boy have something going on? I've been thinking it's her and Jeremy but I could be wrong.
"Fine, I'll bury him." Damon shrugs, grabbing a blanket off the ground.
"So what exactly are we looking for?" I ask, frowning at all the books around us.
"According to Luca's Dad, one of these contain a spell that will let me harness the energy that is left behind when a witch dies violently." Bonnie explains.
"I didn't know you and Father Witch were so close." Damon smirks, looking over at Bonnie mockingly.
"We weren't...but when he gave me my powers back, he gave me a message. If I can find the spot in town where the old Salem witches were burned, I can harness their energy to use when I need it." Bonnie smiles, looking smug with herself.
"Great, we'll have to put that on our list of things to do today. Harness ancient, dead witch power." I roll my eyes, still hating anything to do with freaking witches.
"You know where the witches were burned?" Bonnie glares, walking over to me. Yes I do, Damon told me earlier. HAHA!
"Ops, did we forget to mention that?" Damon asks, a smirk still on his face. Bonnie glares at both of us, not very happy at all.
"Are we going to have to read through every one of these books till we find the right spell?" Jeremy sighs, looking at all the books around us, changing the subject.
"Not exactly." Bonnie answers, going to stand in front of the bookcase. She holds her hands up, closing her eyes and starting to whisper a spell under her breath. After a few moments a bunch of books come flying out of the shelf, but one lands on the floor that is already open to a page. "It's this one." she states, bending over and picking up the book.
"Great, now pick up the rest then lets go." Damon sighs, giving her an annoyed smile
------------------
"Do you really think Isobel is telling the truth about the word getting out about the Dopplegangers?" Elena asks nervously, looking between Damon, Stefan and I. Apparently Isobel told Elena people know about us.
"I don't believe a word she says but...I think we would be stupid to ignore her warning." Stefan admits, causing Elena to roll her eyes. If he is taking her warning seriously, that means he believes her.
"You two should just stay here, better for us to keep an eye on you two." Damon smirks, winking at me. I shake my head with a slight roll of my eyes.
"What? In a house any vampire can enter?" Stefan demands. "No, they are safer at there house."
"Then we'll stay there." Damon sighs, while Stefan just shrugs.
"Really guys? Is that your brilliant plan? You two just never let Elena and I out of your sights?" I glare, not liking this bodyguard thing they have going.
"Let me know when you come up with a better one." Damon glares back. Someone is on his man period this week.
"Fine, but Aria and I need to go to the Lockwood Lunch in, so who's going to accompany us to that?" Elena asks. Ugh, I don't want to go to that thing. It sounds so boring.
"That'll be me." Stefan smiles, raising his hand in the air slightly.
"Not me, I have witch stuff to attend to with Bonnie." Damon tells me, when I look over at him. I would much rather be with Damon doing witch stuff then stuck with Elena and Stefan for the day.
"Does that mean you're taking her to the-" Damon cuts off Elena, holding up a finger to his lips. Elena and I both frown at him, not understanding.
"Don't get quite on my account." Katherine smirks, walking into the room. Oh...that's why... "If you have a plan to combat the appending vampire doom, please, do tell." We all look at each other, not a peep coming from any of us. "Seriously, what is the plan to get us out of this mess, hm? I delivered you a werewolf, a moonstone, and a dagger to lure and kill Klaus. And right now all you have is a moonstone, or so you tell me."
"No, we have it." Damon argues, finally speaking.
"Where is it?" she demands.
"It's in a very safe place." Damon smirks. Ha! It's not, it's in his freaking soap dish because it looks like a bar of soap.
"I've been honest with you, time to return the favor." Katherine sighs, glaring at my boyfriend.
"Let me be honest with you Kathy, don't mistake the fact that we haven't set you on fire in your sleep then fed your remains to a werewolf, as trust." I smile coldly giving her a small shrug.
"Fine, be that way." Katherine snaps, walking away. We watch her go with amused looks on our face.
"I so love you." Damon smiles, pulling me into his lap. I laugh and lean up against him. I roll my eyes when I see Stefan and Elena giving us disapproving looks. Haven't they gotten over that by now?
-------------------
"It's not safe for you to be out here all alone Arianna." I would recognize that emotionless tone anywhere. What is Isobel doing here?
"What do you want?" I glare, standing up off the bench.
"You should be inside with your sister accepting that award." Isobel smiles, but it's one of her emotionless ones. She never smiles genuinely. I don't think she physically knows how.
"I should." I answer, narrowing my eyes at her. What is she implying?
"I think you know what I'm going to do, don't you? You're very smart." she smirks, taking a step closer to me.
"I do. Can I object to it?" I sigh, really not in the mood to be kidnapped today.
"No, you can't." then everything goes dark.

I look at Elena who is sitting rigidly next to me, while Isobel and her hot French pet are up in the front. If only he wasn't gay...
"Why am I always getting kidnapped? Couldn't you have just taken Elena or something?" I ask, causing Elena to glare at me. Hey, she never gets kidnapped, it's always me. It's so unfair.
"I needed you both." Isobel answers.
"Why? So you could drag us to some safe-house and keep us prisoner? Damon and Stefan will find us." Elena warns, glaring at Isobel.
"I'm not dragging you to a safe house Elena." Isobel sighs, right as the car pulls up in front of Mystic Falls cemetery. Elena and I both frown at each other, not understanding what is going on.
Isobel's pet opens up the door, but I am hesitant to get out. Isobel looks back at us, "Just because I can't compel you two, doesn't mean I can't force you to come with me." I roll my eyes and hop out of the car, not wanting her to take forceful matters.
"So is that what happened? You were compelled to betray Katherine?" Elena demands. Uh...what? She betrayed Katherine? Who compelled her? I am so freaking confused right now.
"If I was, I couldn't tell you." Isobel answers.
"So you lied? You did find Klaus? He knows where Aria and I are now. Are you taking us to him?" Elena questions, making me slightly less confused. So I'm guessing she found Klaus and he compelled her to do something. Probably take us to him. Not good...
Isobel ignores Elena, bending down in front of a tomb stone, wiping away some dead leaves. I raise my eyebrows when I notice the tombstone is hers. Why is she bringing us here?
"My parents, your grandparents, put this here when it became clear that the police weren't going to find my body. They visit very week, and they bring flowers. Even though there is no one buried here." Isobel smiles, like actually smiles...I didn't know she could do that. "The Isobel they knew is dead, so maybe there is a part of me buried here. The human part, the part I abandoned when I choose to become a vampire. The part that use to dream about that day she would know her daughters." Elena and I look over at her quizzically, not knowing if she is lying or not. I don't think she is, she sounds genuine.
"What?" Elena whispers.
Isobel shrugs, "Instead you got to meet the other part...the part that would betray her own flesh and blood." Isobel's phone rings in her pocket and she pulls is out.
She listens for a few moments before she frowns, "Let them go?" the guy must respond because Isobel smiles once again. "I'm done."
She hangs up the phone, looking happy for once. "Who was that?" I ask, was it Klaus?
"I'm so sorry Arianna, Elena. I was such a disappointment to you two." Isobel grips her daylight necklace, pulling it off. I gasp when she screams out in pain, starting to catch on fire. I take a few steps back with Elena, horrified at the sigh in front of me.
I can't even process what just happened, I don't think I want to even try.
------------------
I cuddle up next to Damon, trying to push the images of Isobel's burning body out of my mind. As soon as I close my eyes, I hear her screams of pain. I snap my eyes open, taking a deep breath to try and relax myself.
Damon tightens his arms around me, having heard my heartbeat speed up. I look up at him, giving him a grateful smile.
"Was that Isobel's?" Stefan asks, looking at the necklace Elena is twirling around in her hands. How the hell does Elena have that? Did she sort through Isobel's ashes to find it? That is just so wrong...
Elena nods, "I never thought I would feel bad about her being dead, and yet..." Elena trails off, looking at the necklace.
"She was your Mother." Stefan gives her a sympathetic smile.
"No she wasn't, Mother's don't kidnap people then let them go. She wasn't even planning on letting us go. Someone told her to let us go, why would they tell her that?" I question, my voice muffled by Damon's chest. I don't really care if Elena can hear me, Damon and Stefan can.
Stefan shakes his head, letting out a little sigh. "I don't know...anything that John told Isobel, we have to assume Klaus knows, right?" Elena and I both nod, giving him confused looks. "So he knows you two aren't going to turn yourselves into vampires, he knows that you two have us keeping you guys safe."
"He knows we're aren't going to run." Elena finishes for him, looking nervous.
"Which is why we need to take some precautions, because we got played." Damon sighs, picking up some papers off of the table. He gets up, causing me to get up with him. Not fair. "All of us."
"What's this?" I frown, looking at the stack of papers.
"The deed to our house, it's in Zach's name. As soon as you two sign it, it will be in your guys names." Stefan explains.
"You guys are giving us your house." I grin, looking at Damon. This is a really big freaking house.
"Isobel had the right idea with a safe house, just stay here until it's all over. That way you two can control who comes in and out." Stefan says, causing Elena to frown.
"Although I'll be super mad if my girlfriend doesn't invite me in." Damon smirks, wrapping his arms around me from behind. I laugh, and shake my head. There is nothing that could keep me from inviting him in this house. Even Dylan O'Brien.
I hear a gasp come from the front door and look over to see John just waking up. Apparently Isobel snapped his neck earlier and threw him down the stairs as a distraction so Katherine could take Elena. He was wearing that ring thingy that brings him back to life. Damn.
Damon immeaditly speeds over to John, pinning him against the wall. "I swear, I had no idea what she was going to do. I am so, so sorry." he pants, looking over at Elena and I.
"Let him go Damon." I command, surprising everyone. "We need to have a little Father, Daughter bonding time."
---------------------
"I always knew that she and Katherine were close, but I never realized Isobel and her were working against me. Two of the worlds most uncaring and selfish vampires...and yet they were friendly." John sighs, looking down at his hands.
"If that's what you thought of her, why did you ever put your trust in her at all?" Elena questions, her arms crossed over her chest.
"I-I was there when she gave birth to you two. I saw how heartbroken she was to give you two up. And because she was the first girl I ever loved, when she said she would help keep you two safe...I believed her." John admits, and I'm pretty sure he is a little teary eyed. "At this point I will do whatever you want me to do. If you two feel safer with me not around, then I'll go."
Elena and I look at each other, sharing a silent conversation. Elena shakes her head slightly, and sighs knowing what I want. John takes that as an answer to his question. He gets up, starting to leave, but my voice stops him.
"You screw up everything John, everything you touch. It just falls apart, not to mention you're technically are a murderer." I pause, looking him in the eye. "But I seem to hang out with a lot of murderers. You are the only parent Elena and I have left, so maybe...we could learn not to hate you. Or at least Elena." I shrug, giving John a small smile which for once he returns.
Maybe John, Elena and I could learn to be a dysfunctional family.
