“If it‘s truly fake, it‘s a very well–made replica.”

As Ruth made her way into the banquet hall, she could feel all eyes were on her.

She puffed up her chest to show off the necklace even more.

The three children, who were sitting in the corner, were stunned.

“That‘s the Heart of the Ocean!” Harold became emotional. “Mommy was wearing it the night she disappeared!”

George held him down. “She doesn‘t look like Mommy.”

Alden raised his hand and called a waiter. “Go and ask where the lady who‘s wearing the blue diamond necklace comes from?”

George and Alden continued to stay silent.

Harold put down the things in his hand and strode over. Ruth grabbed a glass of champagne once she entered the banquet hall.

Everyone around her was not sure who she was because there was a huge gap of value between her gown and the necklace. Because of that, no one approached her and talked to her.

She glanced over at the people who were present. Just as she was about to join the group of celebrities, she noticed a child approaching her.

The child was only about eight or nine years old. He was wearing a black suit and a bow tie, looking like a prince from a fairy tale.

Ruth was slightly stunned.

At this moment, he hurriedly rushed towards her and bumped into her. The glass of wine he was holding spilled over her pink and blue gown.

“My gown!”

Ruth widened her eyes in shock.
