Chapter 1138 Ninian was still on cloud nine when she returned to her hotel. She could not feel her legs.
âEverett⦠just kissed meâ¦
âHe kissed meâ¦
She could still smell his scent and feel his passionate and domineering kiss against her lips.
She had never gotten a kiss like this before.
Her body had gone weak, as if it had melted into a puddle, leaving her with no energy left to resist him.
Fortunately, he returned to his senses. After the kiss, he sent her back to the hotel.
She could feel her warm, flustering face as she lay on her bed.
âThat was my first kiss. I had no idea it was going to be this exciting and memorable.
âI donât think Iâll ever forget this moment.â
She pulled the blanket over her head, feeling extremely embarrassed. Whenever she thought of Everett, the boy whom she had liked for three years, she finally felt a sense of comfort and belonging.
âDoes that mean weâre dating now?â
She kept tossing and turning on her bed, not able to calm down at all. She felt excited, embarrassed, and nervous all the same time.
âI wonder how Everett is feeling? Is he going through what Iâm going through right nowâ¦?â
She could not help but blushed again as turned side to side on her bed when she thought of him.
Ahh!! Heâs so handsome!!
Suddenly there was a knock, interrupting her train of thought.
She was still under the blanket when she was stunned.
âDamn it. Iâm a goner. How can I forget that my brothers are around?!â
âGrapie, I heard that you came back on your own. Do you want to open up the door and tell us if anything exciting happened earlier?â Harold was outside the door. He was asking her with a relaxed yet mocking tone.
Ninian could not relax at all.
She felt even more nervous when she heard Haroldâs tone, knowing that he was not the only one standing behind that door.
George and Alden were definitely there with him.
She covered her head with the blanket and said guiltily,â No, thanks. I want to sleep. We can talk tomorrow.â
There was a long silence outside the door. Then, George said in a low voice, âGrapie, open the door.â
Ninian shuddered when she heard his voice.
âWhat should I do? Itâs George whoâs talking.â
âBe good, Grapie. I donât want to have to use the spare key to your room,â George continued. Ninian was on the verge of tears. She slipped out of her blanket and tidied herself up a little before slowly heading toward the door.
As she inched closer to the door, her expression became sourer and her hands became stiffer.
Just as she was about to open the door, Georgeâs phone rang.
Immediately afterward , George said in a low and stern voice, âAlright, thanks.â
Ninianâs eyes widened when she heard this. âIs there something that George needs to attend to at this moment?â
âAl, come with me. Iâve got news about it,â George said.
âNews? Is it about Everett? âTheyâve gotten sorne news about Everett?â
