Everyone standing at the door was caught off guard by Ninian’s question.

George, who was stunned, had a dark expression.

“What are you talking about? Stop scaring yourself. Go and wash your face. We’ll talk later.”

“It’s about Everett.” George said, “Rowan has been captured.”

Her heart skipped a bit.

“Rowan… has been captured?

“The problematic Rowan Craig has finally been captured?”

She was in a trance and disbelief.

“Yes, he’s currently being held in the dungeon under the Craig family’s house.” George said, “Everett is interrogating him.”

She raised her head and looked worried.

Others may not know this, but she knew very well who Rowan was to Everett.

“The house is under lockdown. They’ve banned everyone from going in and out of the house. Even the Craig siblings were locked out from their home.”

George had a solemn expression as he said, “You should know that the extended family is strictly forbidden. Even the children of their own families will be isolated. Unless it’s under one condition: a major situation which endangers the family.”

Ninian’s face instantly turned pale.

As a child of an aristocratic family, she naturally understood what George said.

“How can this happen? What exactly happened…?”

She was a little at a loss, and she glanced over at George and Harold, pleading for help as her eyes teared up.

“We don’t know what happened as well.” Harold punched the couch and said angrily, “We had clearly joined forces with the Craig family to eradicate

Ninian gritted her teeth even harder when she heard this.

“I must go there.” She said in a shuddering voice. “ Something must’ve definitely happened over there.”

“It may not be life–threatening, but it’ll aggravate his illness. I can’t let him deal with this alone.”

As soon as she said this, she stood up and was ready to leave.

“Grapie!” Harold swiftly blocked her. “You won’t be able to get in! The Craig family’s mansion is close

shut. Even the Craig siblings couldn’t get in, let alone outsiders like us.”

“But…”

“Yes, she can!”
