As George spoke, the children walked toward the restroom in an orderly manner.

The moment they got in, George locked the restroom door.

Five minutes later, the four children returned to the dining table. Mdm. Xavier could not help but pamper these good-looking and smart kids. She kept adding food to their plates. When the sky turned dark, dinner finally came to an end.

Just as Adina placed her children into the car, George said, “Mommy, after you send us home, you can go and visit Dad in the hospital.”

Melody kept nodding. “Yeah, Mommy. I can take good care of myself.”

Harold pouted. “Mommy, you can go to the hospital and accompany Dad.”

Alden remained silent for a few seconds before he said, ” Mommy, if it’s too late after you’re done accompanying Dad, you don’t have to rush back. I’ll take good care of Mel.”

Adina found herself speechless.

Did these kids come to an agreement behind her?

She was very curious about how George convinced Alden.

Alden pursed his lips. “Mommy, Dad has to recover quickly so that you can have a perfect engagement party. I don’t want you to have any regrets in your life.”

Adina’s heart instantly melted. “Okay, I’ll send you home first.”

George smiled faintly and secretly gave Melody a high five.

Only Melody sided with him on matchmaking their dad and mom.

Harold wanted their mom to marry their dad, but he would sometimes want to kick dad away too. In short, he was unreliable!

Alden was his brother, but he could feel that Alden never treated him and Harold as brothers until today.

Alden managed to accept their dad because of their mom.

George wondered when Alden would truly blend into the Winters family.

Adina only drove to the hospital after she sent the children back to the Winters family’s mansion and passed them to Mrs. Winters.

The sky in Sea City would quickly turn dark during autumn. As night fell, the roadside lamps were switched on. The silence of the night permeated the city even though there was also some hustle and bustle. Adina held a box of porridge as she walked to Duke’s ward, already familiar with the path.
