As the live of them were chatting, Mabel and a blonde girl walked in.

“Is Duke not here yet?” Mabel said with a smile, “Addy, let me introduce you guys. This is Catherine.

Throughout the five years I was abroad, she has been keeping me accompanied.”

Adina stood and shook Catherine’s hand politely. “Hello, I’m Adina Daugherty.”

“Nice to meet you.” Catherine shook Adina’s hand and smiled. “Ms. Daugherty, you’re so beautiful. It’s no wonder why Duke wants to marry you so suddenly.” “Of course, my mommy is beautiful. She’s the most beautiful woman on Earth!”

Harold blinked proudly.

“Are you Hal?” Catherine kneeled and smiled. “I’ve always heard Aunt Mabel talk about the King of Chaos. It must be you.”

“I’m not the King of Chaos!” Harold snorted. “My daddy is, and I hate him the most!”

At that moment , Duke pushed the ward door open and heard what Harold said.

He glared at him coldly. Harold was so frightened that he pulled his neck in and hurriedly hid behind Adina.

With Adina protecting him, he made a funny face at Duke and was not afraid of him anymore.

Duke was speechless.

Duke said indifferently, “Have you settled down?”

“My office will be ready to operate in a couple of days, all thanks to your assistant.” Catherine said with a smile, “I wanted to thank you by treating you to a meal, but since you’re not well, that won’t do anymore.”

Duke had an indifferent expression.

Catherin had accompanied her mother for five years. He only asked his assistant to help her prepare the opening of her counseling center as a way to return her favor.

“Aunt Mabel, I’m a little hungry. Can you help me buy something to eat?” All of a sudden, Catherine asked.

Mabel clenched her fingers.

She knew that Catherine wanted her to go away so that she could talk to Duke about something.
