Jasmine smiled and said, “It‘s mainly because the divorce between Addy and her husband is too confusing. Everyone is curious. Addy, why don‘t you take this opportunity today to solve the puzzle for us?”

She called Adina “Addy,” but her voice was filled with a hidden coldness.

Adina curled her lips into a bright faint smile. “Jas, if you can tell everyone about your pursuit of men, I don‘t mind sharing with everyone about what happened between my husband and me.”

Right after she said that, Jasmine‘s expression completely darkened.

She had always been the one courting Flint, but she never won him over at all. If that was exposed, she would be totally embarrassed.

Dillon then led Adina to the spotlight.

Everyone rejoiced and congratulated them. Regardless of whether they were sincere or hypocritical, it looked like a joyful occasion at least.

Since Mr. Jones attended the reunion banquet, it meant that he had already convinced himself to accept his long lost granddaughter. He took out an antique sandalwood box from his pocket. “This is something that all descendants of the Jones family have. You can keep it.”

When she called Mr. Jones “Grandpa,” his expression improved slightly.

Adina did not mind it too and accepted the gift. “Thank you, Aunt Zhenny,” she said with a smile.

She fiddled with the two gifts in her hands, and after she paused for a few seconds, she continued to smile and say, “Am I considered a member of the Jones family now?”

“Of course,” Dillon quickly answered. “If you like ‘Jones,‘ we‘ll change your family name tomorrow. If you don‘t like it, you can continue using ‘Daugherty‘ as your family name. Our family doesn‘t mind it.”

When Jasmine heard his words, she pursed her lips.

Since her family name was Yackley, her grandpa did not trust her. He even told her that she had to change her family name to Jones after she officially became the heir of Jones Corporation.

Grandpa still treated her as an outsider and only allowed her to be the heir because Daniel was a disappointment.

Adina stopped smiling and seriously asked, “May I ask, aside from being a member of the Jones family, are there any other additional conditions to compete for the election of the Jones family heir?”
