Chapter 894 Adina slowly stood up, walked over to the balconyâs glass door, and closed it. She walked to the bathroom and turned on the light. When she looked at herself in the mirror she saw that her face and her snowâwhite camisole were stained with blood. Her eyes were bloodshot, and her hair was messy. She looked like someone who had just crawled out from hell.
âHow did I become like thisâ¦?!
She lowered her head and washed her face with the cold tap water. Only then did her head clear 1. up.
She returned to her bed to change the sheets and duvet cover. Then, she pulled out the gold earring and studied it carefully. âThis earring is exactly the same as before, and the command program on the inside is not too differentâ¦â
She leaned against the head of the bed, unable to fall asleep. âEarl is a devil. For sure, this will not be his last time here.

Duke sat up on his bed almost instantly.
He had excellent acuity that no one could compare to. Just as he was about to grab the weapon under his pillow, he saw Adina come in.
âAddy, why are you here?â
He stood up and went over to hug her.
He was shocked. âWhy are you so cold?â
She shook her head and stayed in his warm embrace.
She was drenched in cold sweat because of how terrified she was. On top of that, she washed her face with cold water. Even after warming herself up, the chill in her body still had not gone away.
She put her hands around his neck and tiptoed to kiss Duke.
He subconsciously wanted to avoid her.
Adina held his face and said with a hoarse voice. âDuke, I wantâ¦â
With that, Dukeâs guard was instantly let down.
He hugged her waist tightly and kissed her deeply. The two of them were breathless from the kiss.
They slumped onto the big, soft bed together. He hugged Adina and said softly, âAddy, we shouldnât continue. You mightâ¦â âNo, itâs okayâ¦. Adina mumbled as she continued to kiss him. Only intimate feelings would help to alleviate her terror. She no longer cared about the consequences.
The two had been living in different rooms under the same roof for more than half a month. Their love and desire for each other grew out of control after they showed the slightest hints of it to one another.
