Seth's pov:
right now I'm dragging the bodies of the bitch that was electrocuting me down in the cave building thingy and the other woman Stacy shot.... it's my job to clean up the dead bodies I know of after all, I have stuff to gain from it...... oh and this flea bag somehow perched himself on my shoulder and just won't fall of.
"it's like you have a parrot" I looked back at Melanie and the other girls, I brought them with me even if this wasn't something they wanted to see, by now the sacrifices must almost all be dead, the savages roam to place a week after all died in case they fine one so they are at a high chance of dying if I leave them alone.
though I did tell them to take the weapon of the shot woman so right now Katy and Meg h a machete they had no idea how to use and Melanie had her knife back.
"TAKE THIS FLEA BAG OFF ME OR I SWEAR I WILL DROWN IT IN A OCEAN!!!" I yelled as he pulled at my hair and pawed at my face, thoughts I can't control raced around in my head.
"jeez he just loves you Seth, no need to blow a fuse" I dropped the bodies and whipped around, in front of Meg in a second.
"I dare you to repeat that"
"I-I..... he loves you and no need to get angry?" I smirked, dropping the flea bag in her hands.
"brave.... but don't be cocky...... my body and mind are itching to kill and you seem a nice prey....... keep the flea bag away from me" I walked back to the bodies as if nothing.
"Seth" I ignored Melanie. "Seth!" she grabbed my shoulder and pulled me back a bit.
"what?!"
"I..... saw something--" "I can kill anyone! let's go" she pulled more on my shoulder after I cut her off.
"Seth! it's not someone but something, just a glimpse of the light reflecting on something that looks like a wire net but I can't see it anymore, don't go forwards"
"pffff lets test it" I dropped the bodies and only picked up one, throwing it in front of me.
I stood with wide eyes as Stacy threw up on the ground behind me, the body had been cut in multiple piece as if was butter, those strings must be hella sharp.
"awe~ you ruined my fun~ I wanted you to walk in to my trap... oh well~" a singing voice said and I took my axe in hand.
"stay behind me" I growled, looking around but not seeing neither hearing the person that said that.
"boo" Melanie screamed and latched on to me as I turned around to.... see a sight I didn't think I would.
a woman hanging upside down from a tree, everyone had backed away since she somehow appeared in the middle of our group.
"I wouldn't advise you to flee, this whole place is surrounded by my strings~ you'd be little bits and pieces before you know what's going on hehe~"
"talk fucking normally!" I yelled, I was annoyed by the childish tone and singiness in her voice.... if singiness is even a word.... I don't think it is but whatever....
"hmmm~? nope~" I glared at her as she flipped up and sat normally on the branch she was perched on, swinging her leg back and forth.
she smiled at us amused with her sharp teeth showing as if she knew something we didn't. even the flea bag was growling at her.
she had around ankle length red hair, not sure since she's sitting, pale as the dead and a red left eye with the right covered by her hair. she had on her what looked like a freaking scythe and katanas!!! jeez how many other weapon does she need in addition to these strings?! she wasn't wearing clothes as used as most here or even mine which I do lazily try to keep in on piece, her clothes were nothing more than a shirt with jeans, shoes and a special scarf.
"I wi--" "Seth don't get all hissy!"
"yeah listen to Melanie~ I could have easily killed all of you already~" she smiled, I didn't like the fact even if it was different it was a big one like my usual one and I hate copycats.
"who do yo-- who are you?"
"well to answer your first question I know a lot of stuff about you and anyone else hehe~ so I only normal I know your name~ and I'm called Phoenix, Phoenix Deathrose (thanks for the OC suggestion, you readers can always send in more;)) otherwise also known as the shadow reaper on the main land~ not to brag or anything but I killed over two thousand people in the last year alone, but the total amount in the twenty years of my life is over 100,000 so how do you think you could kill me Seth~?"
"I hate cocky assholes like you"
"cocky asshole huh~? oh if only you knew~ that little Melanie clinging to you is madly in love with you~"
"W-W-WHAT?!?! I'M NOT!!!!" Melanie screamed with a face so red she became the definition of the word.
"oooooh you blushing Seth~" I glared at her, tightly holding my axe.
"shut up and let me kill you!"
"tsk tsk tsk such impatience hehe~ you know I think you miss the old you~ or regret what you did before coming here~"
"ah?!"
"yeah your songs first song talks about how you changed, first one talking about your insanity and how you lost your sanity, the second was an explanation more in depth of the same, the one the girly sang to you as she shocked you it talked about your sins and the last was the loss of your mother and how your father was~" I was getting pissed that she knew all of this, was she stalking us or what!? "poor little baby misses her old her that she finds strange~? you'd be even more out of it if you learned about the lie tha--" "shut up?!" I blinked in surprise as she was gone before my axe I threw at her even hit her.
flea bag happily brought it back as I forced him to let go and shove him a bit out of the way.
"calm down Seth" Melanie asked.
"yeah calm down Seth~ you may be fast and strong but~.... I am on a whole other league then you~!" I felt a strong kick in my back sending me rolling a good number of feet away before I stopped myself and got up. "you are no match for me~" she laughed with a huge smile, I swear if they start comparing mine to hers I'll murder them and say 'fuck you' to the deal we have!
"stop flaunting your own ego~" I couldn't help but smile back, somehow finding this amusing myself, I felt my eye twitch, I was getting worked up.
"come on then~" she walked closer and away from the girls. "try and kill me before I do~"
"gladly" I smiled with wide eyes.
of course I tried cutting of her head instantly, who do you take me for? an amateur?
"fast but not enough~" I frowned as she somehow got time to pull out the scythe of hers and block my hit easily as if I was no stronger than an ant! "you know this is funny, you are completely broken and yet weaker while I'm perfectly sane and yet stronger~ shouldn't insanity take away your mental barriers making you weaker~?"
"I'm not weak!!!" I tried punching her but she just tilted her head to the side and patted my head like if I was a child.
"there there~ you'll be strong when you grow up~" was she Trying to fucking piss me off or what?!
"FUCK YOU!!!" I swung my axe again but this time she just jumped away backwards with a smile still on her face and I hit a trees trunk, I yanked it out and the tree fell over.
"I already have someone for that I don't need a second so no thanks for the offer~" she chuckled with a mocking wink.
small Melanie's pov:
well.... this was not what I imagined.
Seth trying to murder that Phoenix person and she just blocked and hides in the foliage.... like Seth noticed but she is being toyed with as if a child was playing with Legos.... let's just hope we don't die please?
though what she said about me couldn't stop coming in my mind and sticking there so I constantly had pink cheeks but would pale at the idea she knew I lied to Seth.
Seth's pov:
I accidentally cut down a fourth tree.
"you should apply to be a lumberjack, seems easy for you and you already have the needed tool~" I whipped around and this time I knew I hit something with my blade.
"hmmm?" she passed her hand on her cheek to see blood but yeeeeeeet agaaaaaain I was there with wide eyes, holly hell she is a mutant monster or what?! she just healed before my eyes with no marks left of the cut...... and she didn't seem all happy go lucky anymore.
"you know?" she sighed, lifting her scythe instead of dragging it after herself. "I can take pain really well and heal really fast too.... but that doesn't mean I like being hurt" I had enough time to put out my axe in front of me as I saw my death flash before my eyes.... more like the tip of the scythe, blocking in time.
I rolled to the side as she tried to cut me again and freaking cut out three trees with one swipe...... THREE!!! FUCKING!!!! TREES!!!!
"I told you before you are no match for me~ hehehehe~" I gasped as I ducked just fast enough to not lose my head, another tree getting destroyed. "this new haircut fits you~!"
"haircut?" I went silent as I saw my hair on the ground behind me and reached out, holly hell!!! it was barely shoulder length now!!!
"BITCH!!!" I tried to cut at her but she swatted my axe away, sending it flying while cutting in my left shoulder.
I backed away, holding my arm as blood stained the clothes, I hate seeing my own blood, I hate it!!
I got to get to my axe which is behind her but how? how?!
"Sayonara~" I looked up to see this scythed idiot already in front of me with her weapon raised and coming down, I raised my arms over my head but no hit ever came.
I looked up again to see she had stopped half way, staring at the stone at her feet before rubbing the side of her head and hanging her hand at her side.
"idiot"
"what was that for?" she whined like a kid as I slipped by but before grabbing the axe, a bullet wheezed between my hand and handle, leaving a burn.
"touch that weapon and I swear to god I won't miss on purpose a second time!" I looked over and stood normally and stepping away from my weapon as we all stared at the new shoulder length in a ponytail blue haired woman who was pointing a gun at me and rubbing the bridge of her noise in annoyance, trust me I understand, I'm annoyed as hell!!!
"I told you too leave them alone didn't I?" she asked.... Phoenix? I wasn't listening when she said her name, not that I cared anyway, not at all.
"but Lilith! I wanted to have fun with them!" she is so childish! I reached for my axe and a bullet passed through the middle of my hand, oh god I felt the bones move! thank the annoying god that saved me from breaking them!
I fell to my knees in surprise.
"I told you I would miss on purpose a second time, all you killers are air heads that refuse to listen or what?!" I glared at her.
"Seth.... she is right"
"Melanie! you should be on my side here!"
"but she was righ--" "Melanie!"
"stop yelling for the love of god and you Phoenix say sorry, you said you would not bother them"
"sorry~"
"mean it"
"I'm sorry~"
"god.... well this is the best we are going to get from her, goodbye and you are coming with me" she grabbed the scarf the red head was wearing and started to drag her away.
"bye~! hope you meet again~!"
"don't you dare Phoenix.... and pull your strings back"
I watched as the whinny girl was pulled away as she happily waved as if this was only a joke to her.
I stood up and put my axe in my belt.
"is anyone of you hurt?" I asked.
"no but you are"
"Meg really? I didn't notice"
"don't be rude"
"I'm irritated Stacy"
"this is a mess"
"don't you say Katy"
"Seth please"
"fine fine Melanie...... go straight in that direction, you'll reach my house, wait there and don't go in my room this this time.... I need to get rid of this body and the other one that more looks like a puzzle game"
"okay be careful" they walked away.
"you too..." I whispered to myself when they were gone and put my hand out carefully to check if the thread was gone, it was, so I took the bits and piece of the body up and dragged the intact one after me, three thoughts eating away at me now.
1: is what she said the truth?
2: if yes Melanie loves me?
3: what lie was she going to talk about?
