I have five clients today. The first one comes at 10 and it was currently 9. I just finished getting dressed.
Though I just saw him last night, I was missing him so I FaceTimed him.
He answered on the second ring. "Good morning, mami." He said with his raspy morning voice. I could tell he was still in bed.
I smiled at hearing his voice. "Hi bubba."
I placed my phone on the counter and then pulled out a bowl from the cabinet so I could make myself cereal.
"What are you up to?"
"I'm making a bowl of cereal. I have five clients today but maybe I can come over later?" I said the last part quietly because what if he didn't want me to come over.
"Of course, baby. You staying the night?"
"Yes!" I said with a bit too much excitement in my voice and then cleared my throat.
He chuckled at my response.
"I think I should be there by seven or eight if all my appointments go accordingly." I said before I took bite of my cereal.
"You don't need me to pick you up?"
"No. I have a car." I wasn't too surprised that he asked me because every time he's with me, he drives me around so he never had any reason to believe that I had a car but I loved my 2016 Honda Accord.
"Oh ok. Just let me know when you're on the way."
"Mk."
We stayed on the phone while I finished up my cereal and until my first client came. He told me that he may not answer all my messages right away today because he has a lot to do today and wouldn't be done until around 5 before we hung up the phone. I had a frown on my face but then realized that I was doing too much because he didn't need to answer my texts the second that I sent them.

My appointments went pretty smoothly today. During my fourth appointment, I ran out of gem glue so we had to modify her design and thankfully my fifth clients didn't want and gems or bling.
I took a quick shower and backed a small bag before heading over to Amari's house. I was hungry so I stopped to pick up some food. I didn't want to show up with just food for myself so I called him to ask him if he wanted anything.
It took him a bit to answer but when he did he had a big smile on his face.
"Hi, baby."
"Hey. Im headed over and I got hungry but I didn't want to just get food for myself so I was wondering if you wanted anything?"
"No, thank you though. Actually do you mind just coming straight here? There's food you can eat here, mami."
"I was really craving a burger though." I pouted.
"I know, mami and I promise that we can get it tomorrow."
"Fine." I said and pulled out from the parking lot that I was in. It was weird that he wouldn't let get a burger for myself. It better not be a situation where he likes to control what I eat because if it is, he will not have to worry about me again.
"Take the frown off your face, baby. I got something for you."
"Mk. I'll see you when I get there." I said before hanging up on him. I felt that it was a bit rude but I was really craving a burger and the nI was also on my period so my emotions were heightened.
I soon arrived at his house and grabbed my bag before walking to the front door and ringing the doorbell.
He opened the door with a smile on his face and made way for me to enter.
The moment that I entered, a miraculous smell hit my nose. "It smells good in here."
He stayed silent and grabbed the bag from my hand and placing on the bench in the foyer before taking my hand and guiding me into the kitchen.
The lights were dimmed, there were candles set up nicely on the counter, two glasses of wine and two plates of food. It instantly brought a smile to my face.
"You did this for me?"
"Of course and I know you really wanted that burger but I promise that we can get it tomorrow."
I smiled and gave him a tight hug. "Thank you." I said into his neck.
He kissed my head before pulling away and then guided me to one of the seats at the counter and I took a seat.
"This looks so good." He made wings, Mac and cheese and broccoli. It looked absolutely amazing.
He sat down in the seat next to me.
"What's the special event?" I asked him before taking bait of the Mac and cheese. I moaned pretty loudly at the taste. "This is so good. Imma need you to cook for me more often."
He smiled. "What can I say? Im a chef." I laughed.
"So what is the special event?"
"Why does it have to be a special event for me to treat you? But I do have something to ask you." He said with a smirk on his face.
I was nervous because what could he possibly ask me that needed a fancy dinner to go with it. Not that I was complaining at all because I was super grateful and this food tasted like heaven.
"Mkayy. What is it?" I asked before taking another bite of the food. I didn't look up from my plate because I was nervous of what he was gonna ask me and I didn't want to make eye contact with him while he asked.
"Look at me, baby." He gabbed my chin and pointed my face towards him so that I was looking at him.
I put my fork down and laid my hands in my lap.
"So I'm pretty nervous to ask you but will you be my girlfriend?" He said with a smile on his face.
I was not expecting that to be the question for some reason but I Â was going crazy on the inside. Of course, I wanted to be his girlfriend.
"Really?!?" I said with excitement in my voice.
"Yes really. So will you be my girlfriend, Alaysia?"
"Yes." I said nodding my head vigorously.
He grabbed the side of my face and pulled it towards him. He gave me a passionate kiss and I wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing him back.
I pulled away after a while because even though I was very much enjoying it, I wanted to finish this delicious food that he made for me before it got cold.
"We can continue that after I eat this amazing food that my boyfriend made for me." I said smiling at him before going back to eating the food on my plate.
We made conversation while we continued to eat.
