Last time on Accepting Diversity Precure, Masaru was in a pinch as he realised his dream of being an engineer was changing due to expectations from the soccer team. But as the day went by, he realised he didn't have a clear cut dream for the far future, but he did for the near future. Let's watch Masaru chase his nearby dream while finding a dream for the further future!
Story
Reiko, reminder that we are meeting at Tayoseishi Park today at 9am
The first message Reiko got when she woke up.
"Reiko, you really shouldn't be doing that," Can-do advised. "Students like you shouldn't be skipping school."
"No, we aren't even supposed to be there unless we've got club or extra lessons," Reiko explained calmly. "It's summer break, and the art club doesn't have anything on."
"That's great. I can't wait to see who you're meeting."
"Can-do, in. My. Bag! You're not supposed to let anyone see you, else I might end up getting exposed!"
"Oops, sorry!" Can-do hid in Reiko's bag.
Reiko sighed and got ready for her "date" with her senior, Hino-senpai. Despite the assumptions of his personality because of his last name, Hino-senpai is actually a very kind person that loves to crack jokes.
(Cut to Tayoseishi Park)
Reiko was waiting at the park by 8.55 when Masaru came running over. "Sorry I'm late! Hope you weren't waiting for too long!" He screamed. To his surprise, Reiko burst into laughter.
"Late? Wait? I got here a minute before you!" Reiko replied cheekily. "Come, where do you wanna go?"
"Nowhere in particular, just in search of a new idea for the summer holiday assignment."
"Oh right! I started working on it!"
"So fast?!"
"I mean, I always get my homework done at the start of the summer holidays. Leaves more time for rest and revision."
"Me too. Just...artist's block." The duo giggled as they sauntered around the park.
As they walked around the park, a dead leaf fell flat into Hino-senpai's face. Hino-senpai removes the leaf from his face and smiled. "Well, maybe I think I know what I can draw now."
"That's great! Anything else you wanna do?"
"That's my line! You're special, after all." All of a sudden, Reiko noticed a gachapon machine. She suggested Hino-senpai they should try it out, to which he agreed.
At the gachapon
The gachapon area of the arcade had six different variants, all containing a different franchise. Reiko and Hino-senpai then inserted the money before trying to pull out their mini figurine.
"KYAAAAAA!" Reiko screamed. "My Sunrise bias!"
"Who who? And what is this group even?" Hino-senpai asked in confusion.
"Iris from Sunrise. It's a Singaporean idol group and a platform to learn English," Reiko explained, having calmed down from the craze.
"I see. This is Jimin from CTS." The duo kept their gachapons safely in their pockets. Hino-senpai then suggested going to a snack stall for some snacks before they part ways. Reiko agreed and they placed their orders. Corn dog for Hino-senpai and vanilla ice cream for Reiko.
On a bench, Reiko licked her ice cream while admitting, "Nothing beats ice cream on a hot day, but it's even better with Masa-Kun."
"Masaru? This year's year rep?" Hino-senpai asked curiously.
"Yes. We've known each other for a very long time. Our mums said we knew each other as babies, but we weren't even that close until kindergarten?"
"Where is he?"
"Okinawa. Preparing for the soccer tournament in fall."
"It's a big thing for our school. Shouldn't you be happy he's in the school's most favoured club?"
"I know. Even with new friends, it just gets lonely without him. We should be happy, but I kind of miss the good old days when it was just both of us. We used to have ice cream together, so this evokes special memories." She froze.
Precure. Ijime-O better not attack until Masaru came back.
Narrator
Tough situation. Reiko's partner is not with her, and I don't know where that Yuu is. Out of all days, I really hope villains don't attack today. Reiko will be helpless.
But on a brighter note, I'm glad to see Reiko's life in middle school was much better than in elementary school. She seems to have everything together now, running her own business, making friends other than Masaru...so maybe what you said during your conversation with Hino-senpai was right.

(Temporal switch to first person perspective)
So what about me, Narrator? You didn't include me!
...fine, I'll be the host to my own segment for the chapter today.
So today, I watched on my tablet what the cures were up to. Reiko was all alone! Great, she has no idea what was Yuu doing, and Masaru's in Okinawa, so he can't simply return for Precure work. I guess it's my turn to k1ll her.
(Permanent change to third person perspective)
Cut to Tayoseishi Park
After the silence, Reiko froze awkwardly until Hino-senpai knocked some sense into her. In a moment of flusterness, Reiko said she had to answer nature's call and ran away.
But in her midst of running away, she heard another round of evil cackling. That made her stop in her tracks.
"I think all of your differences suck!" Ijime-O screamed. "Go, Sabetsuta!"
"Sabetsuta!" The ice cream sabetsuta echoed.
"Please don't tell me they couldn't capture Hino-senpai..." Reiko mumbled under her breath before getting out her InfiniMo. But when she inserted her Jewel into her phone, she couldn't become Cure Embrace.
"Damn it, it's because Masaru's stuck in Okinawa!" She screamed in frustration.
Can-do flew out of her bag. "I told you before, you two have to transform inseparably! You two became Precure together!" Can-do advised.
"I know Can-do. But it's not like I have a choice now. It's like they attacked my friend." Reiko could only stare at the scene helplessly, and after some waiting, dialing Yuu to help out.
Madoka happened to hear everything. She ran to Reiko and dug out a Jewel. Reiko was initially unsure why, but Madoka broke the Jewel into half. Madoka encouraged her to do the same.
Reiko took out her Double Power Jewel and broke into half. "But that's weird, student council president," she asked. "Why do we do that?"
"To complete a full transformation, you need two complete devices and two people for a duo. However, in times of crisis and when partners must be separated, the one at the sight of the Sabetsuta must transform solo, so they often do this. All Precures must know," she explained.
"Thanks! Who told you?"
"I read it in my archive of magical girl books." Madoka blushed furiously. "But we should get transforming before we are in dead meat." Madoka left.
Reiko looked at Madoka from a distance and smiled. She knew her next action.
Transformation
Holding the broken Double Power Jewel in her hand, Reiko swiped her jewel in the air while removing her headband. She threw the Jewel in the air and screamed, "Precure, accept my difference!"
Catching the Jewel in her hand, Reiko pressed against her chest and that formed her shirt. Her skirt formed soon after and she tapped her legs for its heels. She then bent down before raising her head acutely to form a new hairstyle. The pin went to the right side of her chest, forming the brooch in her shirt and she jumped down, posing.
"Embracing everyone for their true selves, I'm Cure Embrace!"
Story
"Huh? Where's your Respect?" Ijime-O asked sarcastically.
"Playing soccer in Okinawa," Reiko replied confidently.
"Ahhhh! And look, Cure Accepting. Top hero. You think you can defeat me?"
"I mean, I've been doing since I was their age so yes I can!" Cure Accepting summoned her magical power and got ready her boomerang. Licking the boomerang for the grape scent, she screamed, "May my fruity effervescence send you back to hell! Precure, Accepting Grape Boomerang!" She threw the boomerang on the monster but to no avail.
"Girls, summon your weapons!" Reiko instructed.
"Right!" All three of them pulled out their weapons.
Yuu sprung up and spun her rod. Lightning sparks formed out of the rod. Yuu took a moment to absorb the moment before forcing herself to focus again.
"Precure, lightning attack!" She screamed, giving the villains a temporal shock. However, they managed to brush it off.
Madoka pulled back the string of her bow. She then released it, which flew through the Sabetsuta since it was perishable ice-cream.
Reiko charged forward with her Love Sword, ready to beat the Sabetsuta up. Realising even a blade could cut through a cone, she ran to the cone and punched the cone, crushing the ice cream into pieces. Waffle pieces just fell to the ground.
Madoka and Yuu were inspired by Reiko's creativity and attacked with those weapons. Eventually, with everyone's effort, the waffle and ice cream just scattered around the trio.
"Rei, you worked really hard today! Wanna end it all?" Yuu offered.
"Of course, Yuyu!" Reiko replied.
Attack
Locking the Overpowered Love Storm Jewel into the InfiniBoard, Reiko raised her hand up, screaming, "Precure, Dress Up!" She transformed into her Accepting Form before posing while saying, "Precure, Accepting Form!"
"Summon, wand!" Reiko screamed and her wand landed in her hand. She then drew a heart on her right side. "Overflowing you meanie with my endless love! Precure, Love's Whirlwind!" Reiko fearlessly pointed the Electrically Amplified Wand at the villains and shocked them with her wind-storm.
Story
The ice cream cone Jewel fell from the sky. Reiko kept it in her pocket, promising herself to store it in her Jewel Album once she reached home.
Rushing to the side of the road, the trio smiled at one another and praised one another for their hard work when they suddenly detransformed. The minute they detransformed, Madoka stared at Yuu and started laughing.
"A Precure in a wheelchair? Huh, sure you can't make it far!" She then left without a word. Reiko sighed as she finished her unfinished ice cream cone. Yuu then tapped her leg.
"Yes?" Reiko asked.
"Can I have a bite?" Yuu asked. Reiko agreed and passed Yuu her ice cream cone. After a few bites, Yuu passed the ice cream cone back to Reiko, thanked her and bid her farewell. As she left, Reiko could only watch her from behind, thinking: Yuu must be hiding she was deeply hurt by Cure Accepting's words...
All of a sudden, Hino-senpai ran up to her and they finished their snacks as they walked to the subway.
(Cut to the subway)
"Thank you for the morning with me, Reiko," Hino-senpai greeted casually.
"No problem, Hino-senpai," Reiko greeted gently.
"Y'know, you don't have to be that formal with me. Just Akito would do," Akito revealed, causing Reiko to blush.
"O-Ok, Akito-san."
"You're too formal. Just ditch the san."
"Yes, Akito-ch-ch-chan!" She bid him farewell and left for home.
