Narrator
Last time on Accepting Diversity Precure, Masaru, Yuu and Reiko were on their way to help one another with their summer vacation homework when a familiar lady came up to the trio. That lady turned out to be Hinomori-sensei, Masaru and Reiko's elementary school teacher. With her are memories from their third grade year, and Reiko's newfound confidence to face her past calmly. The past doesn't define you after all, right?
Story
Yuu was practicing a TikTok audio on her piano. She had been invited to play the piano for that year's Diversity Love Festival, and she cordially accepted it.
Slamming all the notes, she found herself panting when she finished playing. Yet, she stopped panting and felt herself smiling. She finally mastered the piece, ready for that night's Diversity Love Festival. She was in fact, invited to play for the festival, to which she agreed.
That night
Near the festival site
At the bench, Reiko adjusted her little sister's yukata and hairbow. She then brushed hair sticking out to the side and gave her a kiss.
"Sorry I'm late!" Masaru screamed, while lugging his cheerful little sister to the site.
"No worries," Reiko replied. "We got here two minutes ago." Reiko helped her little sister up and led everyone into the festival.
However, since Yuu's item wasn't until the second half, the quartet has some time to kill. The quartet thought hard and long about it before Rina pointed out the yakisoba, takoyaki and ice shaved stall. Everyone agreed and they all sat down for a meal.
The takoyaki was not just dressed in a translucent brown sauce, but it was also topped up with mayonnaise and bonnito flakes. The dish was finished with a dash of spring onions.
The yakisoba had yellow noodles tinted with brown sauce. A various myriad of vegetables decked with white-brown meat was mixed into the noodles. The noodle dish emitted a fragrant smell enough to make one's mouth water.
Finally, the shaved ice was a snow shoe ball, sometimes dyed red or blue. These three dishes combined together made quite the feast for the quartet.
"Thank you for the meal!" Everyone chorused. They dug into their food. Yakisoba for Masaru, takoyaki for Reiko and for their little sisters [Rina and Shizuku], shaved ice.
Halfway while eating her takoyaki, Reiko happened to stare at Masaru, very casually wolfing down his yakisoba. She put down her chopsticks and smiled, admitting, "Still the big eater since elementary school..."
"He's also like that at home!" Rina screamed. "Just had yakiudon for dinner, now eating yakisoba! Only soccer can tolerate how much he's eating."
Everyone giggled, while Masaru flushed at the teasing.
Just as everyone finished their snacks (second dinner for Masaru), a robotic voice asked, "Hey Reiko, why aren't you manning a booth with your crotchets?"
"Souta-kun!" Reiko replied in shock while keeping her cutlery. She blushed and admitted, "I'm not ready yet. I'm only going to do that when I get orders from overseas. This summer, more orders have been coming in from new customers and cities, but I only want to open physical stores once international orders come in."
"I won't disagree. All the best."
"Thanks." He left.
"Who's that?" Masaru asked.
"My business mentor and soon-to-be partner," Reiko replied casually. Everyone freaked out.
"Really??" The whole corner chorused. Rina even put a leg on the bench and screamed, "HEY, HAPPY LUCKY STORE AND 4EVER NEW IS GOING TO PARTNER SOON!" She managed to attract a crowd and everyone cheered for her.
Unable to tolerate the embarrassment, Reiko politely suggested, "We should do something else before the crowd comes. Let's go."
(Cut to guppy scooping)
"Welcome to my guppy scooping store!" Mai screamed. Her brother folded his arms coolly and nodded. This caused Masaru and Reiko to freak out.
"Hi hi, Masaru and Reiko," Mai greeted enthusiastically. "Come and try your hand at scooping guppies. Girls,you-"
"Auntie Mai, I can't squat," Shizuku squeaked, pointing to her crutches and prosthetic leg.
"Ahaha, no worries! Let me guide you to a corner where you can do your own guppy scooping!" Her brother said cheerfully as he readily guided her to the special guppy scooping and provided a chair for her.
Shizuku smiled softly, before taking the scoop and unsteadily aimed for the guppies. Mai's brother guided and supervised her along the way. Eventually, when Shizuku was able to get a guppy of her own, the duo cheered.
"My friend's item is starting soon!" Reiko screamed, while holding up her guppies. "Let's go to the concert area!"
Everyone picked up their pace to the concert area.
Narrator
Sounds like a lot of fun! I hope they enjoy Yuu's concert!
...huh? Wait what?! No, Ijime-O, no! Don't prevent them from seeing Yuu's concert!
Story
Ijime-O was once again spying on the cures when he noticed Reiko and Masaru having fun at the festival. "Are festivals really for fun? No!" Ijime-O declared. "They are for misery! BAHAHAHAHA!"
(Cut to Diversity Love Festival)
Just as Reiko and her friends managed to squeezed into the concert area, an amplified evil giggle could be heard. When Reiko looked up, she gasped. It was none other than Ijime-O!
"I think your differences suck! Go, Sabetsuta!" Ijime-O yelled.
"Sabetsuta!" The Stage Sabetsuta echoed.
Everyone hobbled away from the stage. It took a while for Reiko and Masaru to realise Yuu was trapped inside the Sabetsuta, so rather than find her in their yukatas and possibly tear it, they decided to get into more appropriate rescue wear.
Transformation
Locking the InfiniJewels into the InfiniMo, Masaru removed his glasses while Reiko took off her headband. Tapping their shoulders next to each other, they chorused, "Precure, accept my difference!"
The duo then bounced off each other. Reiko gained her warrior dress while Masaru gained his warrior suit. They then went back to each other and held each other's hand, tapping their feet for shoes and bumping each other's heads for their new style. The duo's InfiniMos went to the side of their outfit, their weapons were summoned and landed on their hands and the duo jumped down to pose.
"Embracing everyone for their true selves, I'm Cure Embrace!"
"Respecting others for their strengths, I'm Cure Respect!"
"One plus one is more than two! That's what differences do! Go, Accepting Diversity Precure!"
Story
"Go get them, Sabetsuta!" Ijime-O suggested.
"Sabetsuta!" Sabetsuta echoed and stormed to the duo.
The duo held hands and jumped onto the stage. They went to the exit on the left, hoping the left tent was were Yuu was trapped in. Lo and behold, she was trapped there.
"Are you ok?" Reiko asked out of concern. Yuu nodded, although visibly shaken.
Masaru took her out of her wheelchair and carried her. "Don't worry," he reassured. "We'll get you out of here in no time." The duo sprinted out of the Sabetsuta.
Once on safe ground, Yuu pulled out her InfiniMo while seated on the floor. She wasn't going to let her disability define what she could do.
Transformation
Yuu sprung out from her wheelchair and slowly saw herself stand in the presence of gravity in the first time. She then looked up to the sky and the InfiniMo and InfiniJewel came to her hands. "Precure, accept my difference!" She screamed as she took out her rubber band.
Waving her phone in the air, she released it before curling up into a ball, gaining her green dress. She admired her feet as if taking in the fact she can walk again, before clasping her hands and closing her eyes, tapping her feet to form her new shoes. Looking at her feet, Yuu smiled before raising her head to form her twin tails. She watched her InfiniMo be kept at one side before she posed.
"Uniting love and peace once more, I'm Cure Harmony!"
Story
Cure Harmony stood with her legs apart. Summoning her magical wand, she spun it around and summoned fireworks. "Precure , Firework attack!" She screamed.
"So what?" Ijime-O asked suspiciously. "You really think you can theme your attacks today all because it's a summer festival?"
"We aren't exactly theme-Ing it; we are fighters that can do whatever we want," Masaru replied bluntly. He got on his feet, dashing as fast as he can while preparing a punch. "Precure, Fiery Fist Firework Style!" He yelled. The sparks were only enough to burn part of the stage.
"Phew, that should do," Masaru remarked casually. "For now."
Reiko spun around and wrapped the Love chain around the Sabetsuta. She finished it up and left it as it was...until the Sabetsuta broke out of the chain.
Remains of the chain were strewn all over the floor. Reiko took out her sword and held it like she did in tennis. Ijime-O glared at her and clenched his teeth, screaming, "WHAT IS THIS?!"
Reiko summoned an imaginary pink tennis ball. She hit it with her sword as if she was actually playing tennis, impressing both her friends and making her villains angry. She finished the one-sided with a pink glow.
All of a sudden, Masaru and Yuu got their own coloured glows. The trio gathered together and huddled together. A festive Jewel fell from the sky and Reiko held the Jewel tightly.
Attack
Reiko inserted the Japanese festival Jewel into the InfiniBoard. The trio got their wand s and posed together and pressed the button, changing them into Japanese wear.
Reiko did a foot routine and posed. Masaru and Yuu followed suit. The trio then gathered together, placing their hands together as one. "Precure, Japanese Festival Dance Tap!" They screamed, releasing the festival airs into the air.
Story
The stage changes back to normal, and so did the cures. Yuu rushed backstage while the cotton Candy Jewel fell from the sky. Reiko kept it in her pocket, promising herself to keep it in her Jewel Album once she reached home.
Yuu went onstage afterwards, and started playing her TikTok audio. The short, energetic beats led the audience to enjoy the performance thoroughly. They even clapped along to the tunes. When the performance ended, the audience broke into a thunderous round of applause.
As Yuu wheeled herself from backstage, everyone congratulated her for her first festival performance. Yuu blushed and scratched her head, admitting she still had a long way to go.
The quintet finally went around the festival to play more festival game and lugged many prizes with them. Just as they thought the fun was only starting, Reiko noticed the sound of fireworks. "Hey guys, let's watch the fireworks here!" Reiko screamed while hugging her guppy and plushie.
Everyone stood and watched the fireworks, amazement written all over their face. They smiled, cherishing the moment they will never get together again.
