Last chapter, Reiko and Masaru went to middle school for the first time. They befriended their wheelchair-bound friend Yuu and defended her from some bullies making fun of their friendship.

And now, they are going to level up their middle school experience with clubs! How exciting!

Story

Under the shade, Reiko took the Sakura jewel and locked it in her InfiniMo. "Let's go! Sakura!" It echoed and the Sakura flower landed on Reiko's lap.

Reiko went behind Yuu and decorated Yuu's hair with the flower. She changed her InfiniMo into its mobile phone mode and showed Yuu her new look, asking, "Yuu, how does this look? Want to keep it like that?"

"Sure!" Yuu replied.

"Hey Reiko and Masaru, what are your after school plans?" Can-do asked curiously, with a rare chirpiness in his voice.

"We're staying back to attend a fair," Reiko replied in a somewhat sly manner.

"Huh?? This is only your second day in middle school and you have to stay back?!"

"We're choosing clubs, Can-do. A club is where many people gather together to do things they like a few times a week for a few hours. For example..."

"The soccer club plays soccer together for hours while sharing strategies about how to play the game better!" Masaru abruptly cut in.

"MASARU! DON'T CUT INTO PEOPLE'S CONVERSATIONS!" Reiko performed a karate chop on Masaru's face.

"My bad."

(Cut to the Club fair)

The club fair was the first event after cleaning time. The club fair started in their classrooms when the principal gave a speech through the audio system about how crucial a club was in their adolescence, more so in middle school. After the speech that seemed to last forever, the first years were dispatched to the club fair.

The minute Reiko, Yuu and Masaru left the classroom, they were welcomed with a splash of colour. Posters of all colours were slapped on the wall. On some of the classrooms like the Home Economics room, the paint was sprayed to lure first years into the club. Seniors were dressed in costumes and they were screaming repeatedly to lure first years for their club presentations.

"The soccer team is having a friendly match against its second and third years in five minutes! Anyone interested in soccer, please go down and watch this match!" A muscular man screamed.

"I'm going!" Masaru rushed off without a word.

"Was Masaru always like this?" Yuu asked. "He seems to be a little inconsiderate."

"Let's just say he's always been passionate about sports, more so soccer," Reiko replied coolly. "But we prefer the arts, so let's go to the hall. It should have a better picture of what we want."

Narrator

Oh. So Masaru broke off from Reiko and Yuu. I hope Reiko didn't take it too personally. After all, even the best of friends can have differing interests, and that's ok.

Let's see how Masaru is.

Story

"No. 8 dribbles the ball to No. 11. No. 11 is kicking the ball to No. 5... GOAL! The second years scores!" The commenter screamed enthusiastically. Masaru screamed with all his might.

A senior sat down next to him and remarked, "You really share your heart with the players, Hase-san."

"How can you tell? In fact, how do you even know my surname??" Masaru asked in shock.

"The only reason I know your surname is because you were the year representative for yesterday's entrance ceremony. I'd say you have given the best speech ever. Even my year representative couldn't match up to your standards. Besides, you were going like "YEA!"when a team scored a point and "NO!"when a team lost to their opponent. You totally should join soccer!"

Masaru didn't need long to come to a decision. "I will, thanks! See ya soon!"

Narrator

So Masaru has found the club if his dreams. I wonder what's he going to do now...

But looks like the artistic girls Yuu and Reiko are having a little trouble finding a club to belong. They tried the ikebana and tea ceremony club but it's clear they don't like it. Let's see how their progress is.

Story

Just as the girls were lost in what art club they wanted to pursue, a string of voices caught the duo.

"I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing, Roman Catholic choirs are singing..."

Yuu pulled Reiko to the middle of the hall where the choir was. In their competition clothes, they moved along with the music, clapping to the music. Yuu grooved to the beat and sang along. Reiko did the same but over time, she realised Yuu was having more fun than she was.

When the performance went up, Yuu went up to the choir members and asked them a few questions about the club. The club willingly answered them and Yuu indicated her interest in the club.

She wheeled enthusiastically to Reiko and announced, "I found my club! I found my club! The choir!"

"Congrats!" Reiko congratulated. But deep down, an uneasy feeling manifested in her. Can I truly find the club meant for me? She wondered in unease. All of a sudden, a loud voice screamed across all the J-Pop, "Cant find a club?"

Reiko turned around.

It was a tall, lanky teenager who wore green-blue glasses. She approached him with apprehension and asked, "Yes Senpai. Why?"

He passionately explained what made the art club unique. It followed the O-Level art syllabus except it was not graded. Students were allowed to tap on their own inspiration and make their own art as long as they stored their thought process in their issued portfolios, submitted 2 works a term and only produced 3 manga artworks a year.

The mixture of freedom and structure caught Reiko's eyes. She was definitely the kind of person that enjoyed activities needing this! She immediately signed herself up.

The senior then thanked her before admitting, "You know, we're kind of similar..."

"What do you mean?" Reiko asked.

"Like how you can't find a club to belong in, I can't find people that want to be a part of the art club. Only you and two others were willing enough to be signed up to this club. So thank you... for accepting me and wanting to break the stigma that we artists have no future with me."

Narrator

Yuu and Reiko found a club meant for both of them! Wow! Happy for both of them! I wonder what Masaru is up to now...

But we can't afford to think about what Masaru is up to. Looks like Hitoshu-oni is scheming with her new plans to agonise the heroes yet again!

Story

Connecting her wireless earphones into her ears, she connected it to her special tablet. She pointed the special tablet down onto earth, curious to know who's differences couldn't be accepted that day.

It wasn't long before the signal was picked up, and the location was targeted at Tayoseishi Private Academy's hall. When the person was picked up, she smirked and remarked, "You think no one's joining your club because everyone thinks artists don't have a future? Don't worry, I'll make sure you don't have a future to call your own."

(Cut to Tayoseishi Private Academy hall)

"We need to fill in our other two choices in the form once the announcement gets broadcasted," Reiko told Yuu. "Do you wanna stay here or check out the other clubs?"

"You know we can always stay here?" Yuu continued the conversation.

"We can't. One of the clubs were going to input can't be an art club. But we can find our other art club first." Reiko continued pushing Yuu's wheelchair around the hall when Masaru caught up. "Hey Masaru. Whatcha doing here?"

"Finding my third choice, you know. If we want two sports clubs, one has to be an art club."

"Actually you can consider the go club. You've always been good at logic games."

"Do you want me to talk about Tayoseishi Private's Go Club?" The senior stationed at that booth asked politely. The trio nodded.

"Go is a..." the senior explained. However, before the senior could even continue explaining the game into detail, a familiar threat appeared in front of Reiko and Masaru right next door.

As Hitoshu-Oni grabbed her friend's hair, she screamed, "I think your differences suck! Go, Sabetsuta!"

"Sabetsuta!" The water colour art Sabetsuta echoed.

"Attacking a senior simply for liking something that's considered 'different'... I'm never forgiving you, Gangphone," Reiko threatened.

Transformation

Locking the InfiniJewels into the InfiniMo, Masaru removed his glasses while Reiko took off her headband. Tapping their shoulders next to each other, they chorused, "Precure, accept my difference!"

The duo then bounced off each other. Reiko gained her warrior dress while Masaru gained his warrior suit. They then went back to each other and held each other's hand, tapping their feet for shoes and bumping each other's heads for their new style. The duo's InfiniMos went to the side of their outfit, their weapons were summoned and landed on their hands and the duo jumped down to pose.

"Embracing everyone for their true selves, I'm Cure Embrace!"

"Respecting others for their strengths, I'm Cure Respect!"

"One plus one is more than two! That's what differences do! Go, Accepting Diversity Precure!"

Story

Reiko dashed to the villian with all speed, shocking Masaru since she wasn't normally this agile and fast on a normal day. She shocked the villian when she appeared right in front of her and made a gun signal in front of her, adding the sound effects of a gun to add authenticity into the attack. However, what was intended to be a distraction ended up real, as smoke ended up coming out of her hand.

Masaru screamed, wondering what he was seeing what that of a supernatural story. However, as he got distracted, his world turned dark within milliseconds.

Fully aware the villains were only doing this to distract them, Masaru decided to give Hitoshu-oni a taste of her own medicine. He summoned his dagger on the spot, but as he wasn't able to see, he dropped his dagger on the floor. Still, he remained focused and determined.

"After all, there's 26 alphabets in the alphabet for a reason!" He added on.

"25," Reiko corrected him politely. "We don't have L."

"Oh right." Masaru then took off without too much of a thought, wanting to improvise a move. However, due to his limited vision, he tripped and fell.

"Masaru, are you ok?" Reiko screamed shrilly.

"I'm ok," Masaru lied, even though he felt a surging pain through his ankle. He tried to get up but couldn't at the end. "The fight must go on. Reiko, go forward!"

"Right!" Reiko sprung off, envisioning her kind of defeated attack she would like to launch. Something different. Something shocking. Something that would leave an impact.

She eventually stopped herself and stared at the villian in determination. Jumping up, she screamed, "Granite Banger Attack!" Hitoshu-oni flopped to the ground while Masaru restored his vision and will again.

"Before she gets up!" Masaru shouted.

Understanding Masaru's body language, Reiko replied, "Alright!"

Attack

Taking out the InfiniMo from her skirt, Reiko held the InfiniMo in her hand. Masaru inserted the Spectrum Wing Jewel into the InfiniMo hole, and Reiko released it.

Standing together, the duo put their hands together and raised it together. "Accepting ourselves and each others for who we are! Spectrum Colourful Splash!" The duo chorused. The splash of colours overwhelmed Ijime-O and pushed him back to the sky.

Story

The Soda Jewel fell from the sky and into Reiko's hands. Reiko kept the Jewel into her hands and promised herself to keep it in her Jewel Album when she got home from the fair.

The duo detransformed, the senior was freed from the cage and everyone filed back to the hall. Reiko pushed Yuu back to the Go Club booth and told the senior manning the booth, "Sorry for the villian that interrupted your sharing just now. Please continue." The Go Club senior continued her sharing, which caused a telepathic connection where all three friends applied to the same club.

Masaru then took Yuu and Reiko out to see the sports clubs. It took a while since Yuu couldn't do sports and Reiko wasn't a big fan of them, but with enough convincing from those club seniors, Yuu applied for the basketball team and Reiko indicated her interest for the swimming club.

(Cut to 1-3, end of the school week)

"Class, I have your official club allocations," Izanagi-sensei announced. "When I call up your name, come up to the front and I will give you your club allocations."

Tension built up in the air as the names were called out. Initially, the room was silenced by the tension, but eventually burst into loud Joy as the (soon-to-be) teenagers realised they got into the club of their choice, mixed with the sad  sobbing of the classmates that didn't. Yet, the sobbing was "toned down" with the soft whispers of consolation to those students.

Masaru, Reiko and Yuu were eventually called. When Masaru and Reiko got their papers, they made a mutual decision not to open their papers until Yuu got hers, leaving them in a moment of nerve that they chose to endure for friendship.

When Yuu wheeled herself to her seat, Masaru, Reiko and Yuu counted in unison, "1, 2, 3."

Then, they flipped their papers.

"OMG OMG OMG! I GOT INTO THE SOCCER TEAM!" Masaru screamed.

"IM IN THE ART CLUB!" Reiko squealed.

"I GOT INTO THE CHOIR..." Yuu whispered happily.

The trio looked at one another and smiled happily.

Narrator

Another happy ending! Our heroes and their best friend all got into their club of their choice! Their clubs may bring new challenges but they love the activity of the club so much I'm sure they can overcome it!
