Chapter 23 - The Naughty Lily

After a whole day of repeated testing, we were finally certain that my bodily fluids could extend the time it would take for Dacia to dehydrate.

Body fluids were not just saliva and vaginal secretions, but also blood.

I couldn’t explain this phenomenon scientifically. I had the vague feeling that if we continue to exchanged body fluids, we might become more and more like each other.

I wondered if I would grow a mermaid tail like him one day. Did that mean that I could return to the sea with him and leave the continent?

That night, I arrived at Daniel’s as promised.

Mandy didn’t appear even when we were sitting at the kitchen table.

When Daniel brought the last dish to the table, Dacia suddenly grabbed my hand.

“I need to go to the bathroom.” I quickly stood up, then took Dacia’s hand. “Come here and help me.”

“Okay.” Dacia stood as well.

I knew it was a little strange for me to ask him to go to the bathroom with me, but it was normal for couples to have some secrets, right?

Lily pointed to the bathroom. “Right there? Do you need my help?”

“No need. Having Dacia is enough.” I smiled at her.

We couldn’t wait to walk into the bathroom and close the door. Then, we started kissing passionately.

I drank a lot of water just now, so my mouth should be filled with water.

“Do you feel better?” I asked with my voice hoarse.

Dacia and I picked up our knives and forks, like soldiers who have to pick up their war spears against their enemies.

The table full of delicious food was our enemy, and was waiting for the two of us to issue a challenge.

I cut a piece of steak and put it in my mouth. It tasted like I was chewing a candle with condiments. It’s taste was really average.

Dacia acted better than I did. He nodded with satisfaction as he ate. “Mmm, it tastes good.”

Lili burst into laughter. “You actually said that my father’s steak was delicious!”

“Hey, Lily, can you show Daddy some respect in front of guests?” Daniel pretended to be serious.

“I think it tastes good too.” As I spoke, I put another piece of steak in my mouth.

Lily grinned. “You’re the first of all the customers who’ve eaten his steak to say it’s delicious.”

“Tonight, I cooked it strictly according to the recipe online,” Daniel said. He also ate a piece, then looked embarrassed. “It might taste a little strange, but I promise you won’t get sick after you eat it.”
