â«ï¸Stella's POV...
For the last four days, I spent my time learning everything about Chris and getting along with everyone in the mansion. They were all genuinely nice, except for Chris. That man insulted me every chance he got.
Once, during dinner, I casually asked, "Should I call you Chris since I'm acting as your girlfriend?"
He didn't even look at me properly before replying in a cold tone, "Be in your limits."and laughed .
I shrugged it off, but in my heart, I screamed, "Asshole!" Yes, Christian Knight held a special place in my heart as #asshole.
He even called me a pig for sleeping and eating, but I couldn't say anything back. I saved all my insults for him in my head.

This morning, Ava barged into my room and shook me awake. "Get up, Stella! You need to get ready. Chris's parents are coming early."
Groaning, I dragged myself out of bed. After getting ready in an elegant sky-blue off-shoulder gown that fit snugly around my waist but flared at the bottom, I sat in front of the mirror. The makeup artist had done a beautiful job; I looked... amazing.
Ava was already dressed in her usual formal attire. "What are you wearing? Am I overdressed for this?" I asked.
She nodded, amused. "Nope, you're fine. Uncle and Aunt are coming to meet you and Chris. It's your first meeting, so you should give a pretty first impression."
I followed her to the living room, my heart racing.

â«ï¸Christian's POV...
I sat on the couch with MJ, Nick, and Liam, dressed in my usual black jeans and shirt. Everything was going fine until she walked in-Stella.
She looked stunning in her sky-blue gown, but my brain immediately screamed, "Why do I care?" I looked away, pretending she didn't exist.
Stella took a seat, and we waited. After about half an hour, my parents arrived. I stood up to greet them. Stella followed my lead, smiling as she extended her hand toward my mom.
My mother, however, hugged her warmly. "You're so beautiful, Stella. No wonder Chris fell in love with you, even if he denies it."
I stiffened. "What nonsense is she saying?"
---
The introductions went smoothly. We all sat for breakfast, and everything seemed under control until my dad, out of nowhere, decided to test us.
"I'm happy you found a girlfriend, Chris," he said with a knowing smirk. "But how can I believe this isn't just some drama? You've always been so secretive."
My inner voice screamed, "Because it is drama, Dad!"
Out loud, I said, "No, Dad. I met Stella while looking for a girlfriend. We've been dating for about two weeks now, and I really like her. Let's see how things work out."
Dad raised an eyebrow. "You've been dating, huh? Then you won't mind kissing each other. We're all adults here and I'm open minded too. Young age is like this."
My blood froze. I thought" Is he asking me to kiss her. No way. But do I have another option. No."
I looked at Stella, who was staring at me wide-eyed and clearly panicking.
With no way out, I leaned toward her, placed one hand on her waist, and pressed a quick peck on her lips. I swear it didn't even last for 1 second. So is my first kiss gone to this pig or not.
It was brief but enough to satisfy my dad. "God, I'd rather kiss Onyx than her."I thought.
When I pulled away, Stella's cheeks were flushed, but she didn't seem shy. Instead, she looked confused and slightly annoyed.
My dad laughed, clearly amused. "Chris, I didn't ask you to kiss her. I just asked if you had kissed her. Did you lose your sanity?"
Everyone laughed except for me. What the heck.
Before going dad informed ( after my excuses regarding Stella security) that he will consider giving a thought whether he will introduce Stella with others at the party or not.

â«ï¸Stella's POV...
Once Chris's parents left, I turned to him, scrunching my nose in disgust. "Ewwww."
He glared at me. "Yuck!"
We both darted toward our rooms, desperate to brush our teeth. I scrubbed so hard that my gums hurt. "What the hell was that? My first kiss gone... to him? To an asshole jerk!"
When I came out of my room, I found Chris already waiting in the hallway. Before I could say anything, he smirked. "You know, you're such a scam. The way you acted when my parents were here, such a sweet lady. You could easily frame someone for yourself in blind dates. Too bad. ."
I snapped back without hesitation, "Whatever. At least I don't do filthy things without listening properly. If you'd bothered to pay attention, I wouldn't have lost my first kiss to an assho..."
Chris's face twisted in anger. "You should be glad you got your first kiss from me. Girls line up for a mere glance from me."
I couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, please. You need mental treatment more than anything. Let me give you a reality check: Even with all your money and looks, you're single. And you're telling me girls line up for you?"
He glared. "I'm single by choice. I have plenty of options."
I raised an eyebrow. "Sure, keep telling yourself that. I know a good psychiatrist who can help with your delusions."
He threw up his hands. "Enough!" Then, pulling out a check, he handed it to me.
I frowned. "What's this?"
"Your payment. You worked here, so you deserve it. Now you can go. Just shoo away." he said flatly.
I shoved the check back at him. "I didn't ask for money, and I don't need it to justify your wrongdoings. I never acted by will."
He scowled. "I don't keep favors. Just take the money and leave."
Grudgingly, I took the check and stormed out to the car. But the moment the car started moving, I tore the check in half and tossed it out the window.

â«ï¸Christian's POV...
Watching her tearing the cheque, I felt my blood boil. "How dare she? That woman is impossible. Can't she do anything she's told? Doesn't she know what obedience means?I might kill her someday."
I turned on my heel, muttering to myself, "She's such a headache." But deep down, a small voice whispered, "Why do you even care?"
