No One's POV

"Attention everyone. If Zed can prove that monsters are exceptional, doors will open for all of us." Eliza said over a loudspeaker
Bonzo was reader a book close to his face, not listening to anything around him. Bree saw this and took the book away from his.
"You're gonna ace your drivers test zom-boo, but right now, focus. Zed needs us." She told him
"Alright everybody, listen up. We only get one shot. Zed's interviewer, Mrs. Crabtree, is gonna be here in an hour." Eliza told them, before Bonzo said something in zombie and pointing in the direction facing him.
"Who's early? Uh oh. Seabrook we have a problem." Eliza said in the loudspeaker

Meanwhile, Zed was freaking out, and the wolves were comforting him.
"You're making history today, Zed. First zombie to even interview for college." Wynter told him
"Hey, you show 'em what monsters can do."
"Right. I am going to slay her with my killer zombie charm. Or not. Probably not. I don't know. We will see." Zed overthought
Bonzo and Bree quickly ran towards Zed and the wolves and told him that Mrs. Crabtree was early.
"What? She's early."
(I didn't feel like writing the song this time lol)
All of Zombietown, wolves, and humans were behind Zed, cheering him on as him and Addison walked up to Mrs. Crabtree.
"What did you do to deserve all this?" She asked him
"I have no idea." He answered before turning to the robot with Eliza on the screen. "Thank you."
"Progress for you is progress for us all."
"Why don't you join us to start. I understand you've already been accepted."
They headed inside and Mrs. Crabtree started talking.
"We found your application persuasive." She started
"Well, I'm just doing my zom-best."
"Uh, our biggest concern is that you could turn into a monster at any time." She told him
"Yes, I am a monster, but completely safe. Zombies eating brains? Thing of the past." Zed joked
"Zed can control his "zombie-ing" out." Addison said as she placed her hand on his shoulder, but it shocked Zed causing him to grunt in pain.
"Look at that, we have electricity."
"I must've rubbed my foot on the carpet." Addison chuckled
"Despite being a zombie, how would you positively impact Mountain College?" Mrs. Crabtree asked
"Despite?"
"Uh, that is a fair question. Um, you know, I think that what I bring to the table is theâ" Zed started to say as he grabbed Addison's hand.
Zed got shocked again and his z-band had a reaction to it causing him to zombie out slightly.
"You okay there?" The interviewer asked him
"Yeah! No. I'm great. Just give me a second toâI just need to use the restroom real quick." Zed said walking into the kitchen. Addison chuckled before following.
"What happened?" She asked
"I don't know. I just lost control."
Addison went to comfort him but shocked him again.
"It's coming from me!"
"Not now! I gotta focus!" Zed said
Addison touched him again, but accidentally threw him across the room.
"I'm so sorry!"
"Wait, it's your powers! Your alien powers!" Zed told her
"I have their spark! It must have taken longer to affect me!" Addison cheered
"Addison Rosalind Wells! You are an alien!"
Zed hugged Addison, forgetting about the spark and got thrown against the wall.
"Is everything alright in there?" Mrs. Crabtree asked them from the other room.
"Yes, we're fine!" Addison yelled back before walking up to Zed. "I can't wait to tell the aliens at the Cheer Off tomorrow. My moms gonna freak out. She has no idea. She's gonnaâ" Addison rambled, going to grab Zed's arms
"Please stop!"
"Sorry! I'm trying. I really am." Addison accidentally pushed Zed through the door leading to the room where Mrs. Crabtree and his dad were and landed on the floor.
Zed stood up grunting in pain, but it came out sounding like growls, causing the woman to scream in fear.
"Zombie!" She yelled running out of the house
"No, no. No, no, no! Wait, wait, wait!" Zed said as he went back to normal.
Addison came running out of the kitchen with gloves on.
"I'm so sorry!"
"Don't be." Zed told her as he ran after
"Wait! Please."
Mrs. Crabtree stopped and slowly turned around to face Zed.
"I know that I may be different, who that's exceptional isn't. We have a spark that can change things. It's not a curse, it's amazing."
"I'm Exceptional Zed, and so are all my family and friends. We're artists, athletes and activists who always give it our best."
"We don't need to pretend, 'cause we won't ever fit in, and we're not just awesome in spite of that, we take pride in that instead. We all exceptional."
"We'll take that into consideration." She told him

A-bby's POV
It was a little late and Zed told me to meet him over by the froyo place. It took me a while but I was able I find it.
"Zed why did you ask meâA-lan? What are you doing here?" I asked
"Zed told me to meet him here."
"Huh, that's weird. He's not here." I muttered
"Well, since we're here, do you wanna get some froyo?" A-lan asked me
A smile grew on my face as I heard this, and nodded.
A-lan and I ended up hanging out for the rest of the day. Right now we found a great spot on a hill, relaxing. I saw something shoot by in the sky followed by another and another. A meteor shower.
I gasped at the beautiful sight, my gaze never leaving the sky.

A-bby felt arms wrapped around her waist as she got pulled into A-lan's embrace and watched the meteor shower with her.
