Jimmy instantly turned as pale as a sheet. He clutched his head and then his chest.
His mother quickly noticed his unusual behavior. âWhatâs wrong with you, Jimmy?â
The little boy couldnât pinpoint where exactly he wasnât feeling well, so he could only reply, âI feel terrible mom.â
Jimmyâs mother rushed to hug him. She couldnât help but complain, âItâs all Nora Smithâs fault! Of all the things she had to say, why did she have to scare you like that?â.
She was so anxious that her eyes were red. She complained about Jordan and said, âI really donât know who this kid looks like to be so shy. Come on, Mommy will put you to bed.â
He scooped the pale Jimmy up in his arms and carried him upstairs to the upstairs bedroom.
Jordan became even more furious when he saw how bad little Jimmy looked.
He looked at Logan and said, âItâs still the same. Either Iâll help you-youâll probably all step back because of me and postpone the race for a month-but you must bring that woman named Nora Smith to me and let me teach her a good lesson. Or else get the hell out of here!â.
Logan clenched his fists.
He glared at Jordan. After a while, he finally replied coldly, âIâm leaving, Mr. Hoffman.â
Logan limped out the door. Jordan was still angry even after he left. The man next to him said, âMr. Hoffman, that boy is a pretty upright and honorable guyâ¦â
Jordan snorted. âHe can only consider himself unlucky to have a cousin like that! Since I canât cause trouble for that woman, I can only cause trouble for him then!â
However, after saying that, he lowered his head again and said, âForget it. That boy is very interesting. He conveys a message to everyone: the race for the next three days will go on normally, but he and the Andersons are separate entities.â
This meant he was going to protect the Andersons.
The man nodded. âYes sir.â
To be honest, Jordan was not the most powerful man among the underworld forces. However, everyone trusted and believed in him because he was an upright and loyal man who practiced boundaries in the way he did things.
For example, right now. Even though he had taken his anger out on Logan because of a woman, he had protected Loganâs family.
Otherwise, if everyone charged at the Andersons, the Andersons would be in trouble.

Logan walked out of Jordanâs place. After taking a few steps, someone called out to him from behind. He turned around and saw that it was Jordanâs second in command. The man approached and said, âMr. Hoffman just communicated that you and the Andersons are separate entities. I have no idea what part of you Mr. Hoffman likes about you.â
Logan breathed a sigh of relief and nodded to the man. He said, âPlease thank Mr. Hoffman for me.â
Jordanâs second in command nodded. Then he said, âHowever, you are very unfortunate. Why do you have to have a cousin like that? If you ask me, Iâd say this would all be over if youâd bring her here and make her apologize to Mr. Hoffman and his wife. Why bother doing something like that?â
Logan looked down and said nothing.
The man continued and said, âIâve already checked her out. Your cousin is not from an established family, so you shouldnât care too much whether sheâs embarrassed or not, right?â
However, as soon as he said that, Logan said, âThank you very much for your help.â
In other words, he had rejected Jordanâs second-in-commandâs suggestion.
The manâs expression darkened. âYou donât know whatâs good for you kid. Youâd better apologize or hope the master recovers soon. Otherwise, Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman wonât leave you alone if the little lord is still sick!â
Logan nodded to him and left.
Loganâs foot still hadnât recovered, so he couldnât drive. He hailed a cab and instructed the driver to go to the villa where he was staying.
However, when he arrived at the villa, he discovered that all of his belongings had been thrown away. Someone was inside the villa packing up the place. The moment he got out of the car with a frown on his face, someone said, âOh, hello, arenât you Logan-The King of Racing? Youâve come just in time, why havenât you moved in if youâve already sold this villa to me?â.
Logan pursed his lips tightly.
The person who had bought his villa was none other than Winston, Jon Myersâ son!
Jon had been making things difficult for the Andersons all these years, hoping that Myers Peace Pharmacy would replace Harmonia Pharmacy to become the major player in the traditional medicine industry in New York.
Thatâs why Winston had shown up immediately when he learned that Logan was selling his villa and car.
He had bought his villa at a low price.
The villa was located in the suburbs, so it was only worth three million dollars.
However, Winston not only offered $1.5 million for it, but had even coerced Logan into the transaction because he needed the money urgently. The contract clearly stated that she would be given one month to move out.
He didnât want to move back in with the Andersons for the time being, lest they find out about his leg injury and worry about him.
But why was he kicking him out now?
Logan stepped forward with a frown and said, âOur contract clearly states that I will be moving out within a month. I signed the sales agreement with you just yesterday, didnât I?â.
Winston raised his head and replied, âYes, âwithin a monthâ is correct. A day is also a month from now, isnât it? Are you planning to stay here and not move?â
Loganâs sharp gaze turned cold. âDonât go too far Winston!â
âNot go too far?â Winston shrugged and said, âHow exactly am I going to go too far? Isnât it right, of course, that you move in after you sell me your house? Besides, I plan to stay here soon, so I can take your things first!â
As soon as he said that, someone came running out of the villa and shouted, âThereâs a trophy here, Mr. Myers!â
Winston looked and saw that it was Loganâs racing championship trophy.
Loganâs eyes widened at the sight of the trophy.
He had won that trophy when he entered his first race.
His parents had always disapproved of car racing, so he had only done a small celebration with his friends after winning the trophy. Since then, he had kept it carefully at home.
The trophy had special meaning for him.
He hurried to step forward and said, âGive me that!â.
Winston was also quick to say, âYes, that trophy is the first championship trophy won by our Logan-The King of Racing here. I remember he had beaten the others by copying one of Yanciâs drifting techniques on that occasion. That trophy has great significance â you mustnât break it! Here, Logan-The King of Racing, hold it tight.â
Logan reached out his hand. He was about to take the trophy when Winston suddenly turned and smashed it mercilessly against the rock next to him.
Trish!
The trophy immediately shattered into pieces!
Loganâs eyes widened in horror. He turned sharply to Winston, clenched his fist and shook it. He shouted, âYou must be sick of living Winston!â
But before he could charge Winston, two other men stopped him.
Logan had always been physically strong, and rarely suffered disadvantages in fights. Moreover, he had always been ruthless since he was a boy. However, one of his legs was injured, and he had no strength in it. He soon fell at a disadvantage.
The men held Logan down. He glared angrily at Winston. âYouâre so shameless to kick a man while heâs down!â
Winston, however, laughed and said, âI have already bought your villa. As for your car, will you sell it for three million dollars or not? Iâve already put the word out: no one will offer you a higher price than that!â.
Logan clenched his fists.
At that moment, his cell phone suddenly rang.
