Nora was very amused. It seemed like the right time to have a good talk with the young man, and let him know how strong he was.
She said calmly, âYou donât have to follow me.â
Then, without waiting for Quentinâs response, she went upstairs.
Quentin: ââ¦â
He stared at Nora angrily. He was about to say something mean when, for some reason, he suddenly found her a little familiar to the eye.
Although she wore pants, while #028 always wore a long black or red dress, the two looked somewhat alike from behind.
He must have been mistaken.
No. 028 was such a frank and straightforward person-how could it be Nora?
Just as No. 820âs physique was similar to Big Brotherâs, there were plenty of people in the world with similar complexions!
Quentin shook his head and dispelled that thought. At that moment, someone approached from a short distance away, which made Quentin so startled that he hurriedly hid in the darkness.
He had become so accustomed to being the center of attention in the subway arena that he had actually forgotten to hide, which caused him to almost expose his existence to the Smithâs servants.

After Nora entered the living room, she had practically gotten rid of Quentin. He would never show himself openly in front of the others.
Pete was already home and was playing blocks with Mia.
Mia was talking quietly, so even though Pete thought what she was playing was very boring, he went along with it with a frown.
The simpleton Brandon circled the two of them. He said, âMia, why are you so stupid? You canât put that in thereâ¦. Ah! It collapsed.â
Mia pouted and looked at Brandon silently.
Brandon was startled, âHey, donât cry. You little crybaby, please donât cry. I wonât touch your stuff anymore, okay?â
Pete let out a sigh. He slowly bent down and easily put Miaâs blocks back in the previous state for her.
Mia perked up and said, âThanks, Cherry.â
Pete replied stoically and habitually, âYouâre welcomeâ¦yes.â
Nora: ââ¦â
Why was her son talking so strangely? Cough.
While she was thinking about it, Pete, who apparently sensed that she was looking at him, peeked out. The little boyâs dark eyes immediately lit up and he called out, âMom.â
It sounded a bit like he was calling for help.
Nora raised her eyebrows, realizing immediately that the little guy must have something to ask her. She nodded and went upstairs.
When she entered the upstairs bedroom and looked behind her, sure enough, she saw Pete closing the door.
Nora sat down on the couch nonchalantly. âWhatâs wrong?â
Pete approached her at a snailâs pace. The hesitant boy watched her facial expression again and again before finally asking, âMommy, can you ask the godmother to teach Mia how to dance?â
Nora was surprised. âDo you want Tanya to teach her how to dance?â.
âYes.â
Pete frowned and said, âMia really likes to dance. Whenever we have dance lessons, she always hides in the doorway and secretly learns to dance with us. Godmother has already seen her several times, but she doesnât take her as a student.â
Nora licked her lips. âAll right, Iâll ask her.â
âOkay.â Pete smiled and said, âIâll go out and play with Mia.â
âGo ahead.â
When Pete left, Nora decided to call Tanya. However, just as she was about to do so, she received a video call from Tanya herself.
As soon as she answered, she saw Tanyaâs face fill the screen. Her loud voice also rang out. âLittle Nora, do you miss me?â
Nora: ââ¦â
âYour mother-in-law asks you to come visit me when you are free. Hasnât it been a long time since you last came to my house?â Tanya continued to shout, her voice so loud that it made Noraâs temples throb.
Nora was quiet for a while. Then she suddenly asked, âHow have you been lately?â
At the mention of the subject, Tanya let out a huge sigh and said, âI recently met someone with great dancing potential. Sheâs even the first person Iâve developed an interest in, other than Cherry. Do you think I should take her on as an apprentice?â.
Tanya rested her chin on her hand. She seemed to be in a dilemma as she said, âBut I donât get along very well with her parents. On the one hand, I want to take her on as an apprentice, but on the other hand, I also want to get away from her. Iâm so worried about thisâ¦â
