Actually, when Jill came looking for Tanya, Nora had already informed the special department.
She suspected that Jill was related to that mysterious organization, so Brenda and Morris continued to pay attention to this case.
By the time Hillary was in the room, the special department had already secretly collected her blood samples and turned them over to the special departmentâs internal inspection department for comparison.
Nora seemed unconcerned about this on the surface, but she was actually giving the other side a chance to relax.
After all, this time they still couldnât stop their opponents this time, let alone find out who they wereâ¦.
However, Hillaryâs death exceeded Noraâs expectations. Nora knew the moment Hillary died.
When the police came to the Smiths to arrest Tanya, she had really thought that the other side was coming for her with the intention of sending her to jail. At the time, I had already thought about taking a trip to the police station and seeing what would happen.
But what I hadnât expected was that⦠these people were targeting Tanya.
When Tanya was arrested, she sensed something was wrong and sent a message to Brenda. After securing the evidence, she cooperated and began her performance.
Since the other side wanted to slander Tanya, they had to have a backup planâ¦. In that case, she would beat them at their own game and see what kind of conspiracy they were up to!
It was indeed Hillaryâs corpse that Elaine had sent to the crematorium. However, Brenda had been waiting inside for a long time and had secretly exchanged the corpse.
Nora then rushed to the crematorium and made an angry scene. It was to make her hidden adversaries believe that Hillary had indeed been cremated.
Nora looked at Hillary and asked, âHave you inspected her?â
Brenda cocked her head to one side and said in a charming voice, âIsnât that your job? It was hard enough for me to steal her body.â
Nora couldnât help but get goose bumps. Could this person talk any more normally?
She put on her gloves and went to examine the body. Through the body, she was able to determine the last moments of the deceasedâs life.

Hillary woke up in pain in her daze.
The pain in her body made her curl her fingers uncontrollably. She wanted to open her eyes, but she couldnât. She knew she could die.
How could she be dying?
Suddenly she remembered that after eating the pill that person had given her, her whole body suddenly felt hot, as if it was going to burn. Before she had fainted, that person had sneered and scolded, âYou scum! You canât even digest this little medicine.â
Hillary wanted to reach out and grab her. She wanted to scream for the other party to save her. She even wanted to say, âDidnât you promise me, why didnât you let me out?â
However, the other party said, âI only promised you that you would leave. I didnât say whether you would leave dead or alive! You are too useless.â
Then she fainted.
If she had not been injected with Benzoplatin, she might not have woken up.
However, now that she was awake, she could barely move her body. The pain in her body was getting more and more intense, as if all the nerves in her body were expandingâ¦.
She cried out in pain. She felt as if there were ants crawling all over her. She scratched her skin and then her arm. Her whole body was covered with scratches, but they couldnât relieve the pain under her skin!
She didnât want to die. Even if it hurt, she didnât want to dieâ¦.
But death was getting closer and closer to herâ¦.. Until she slowly closed her eyes.
âAre you finished?â
As Nora stood up, Brenda asked.
Nora nodded and briefly explained the corpseâs condition. âThere are a lot of scratches on his body. They must be neurological pains caused by the benzoplatin. It woke her up before she died. If Tanya hadnât injected her with the drug, she would have died without waking up.â
Brenda was surprised. âWhat was the cause of death?â
âShe was poisoned, but it doesnât sound like poison either.â Nora frowned.
By the time Hillary was sent in, she had already taken her pulse. At that point, her pulse was very chaotic.
Brenda asked, âSo, was it poison or not?â
Nora said, âIâll have Lily dissect the body and investigate it thoroughly. It will take time.â
Brenda hummed in boredom and pulled out her phone to take a look. Then, she looked at Nora. âDid you hit Elaine?â
Nora replied nonchalantly, âYes.â
Brenda cocked her head. âI donât like her either, this person is too ugly. But werenât you acting? You clearly knew the corpse was with me. You shouldnât have been so angry that you wanted to hit her, should you?â
Nora raised her eyebrows. âNoâ¦my hands were itching.â
Brenda was speechless.
She twitched her lips and smiled suddenly. âYouâre in big trouble!â
Nora walked over to the sink and asked as she washed her hands, âYes?â
Brenda stood up, her slender legs shod in a pair of red heels. He walked slowly behind her and said, âElaine has reported you to the higher-ups. She says you hit a fellow student to vent your personal feelings.â
Nora raised her eyebrows. âWhat else?â
Brenda smiled and said, âOf course, Captain Ford is protecting you. He said you were just anxious. After all, our case is still confidential and we canât reveal the truth. However, Elaine is not willing to let this go. She insisted on letting you be punished and making you apologize.â
Nora nodded and said nothing more.
Brenda asked curiously, âWhat do you plan to do now? Before we unmask the mastermind behind the conspiracy, we canât clear Tanyaâs name. Are we going to let them arrest her first?â
âOf course not.â
Nora said firmly, âMia would cry at home.â
Brenda blinked her beautiful eyes. âSo, what do you plan to do?â
âWhat should we do?â
Nora smiled suddenly. âWeâll mind our own business, of course.â
Brenda: â?????â
That night, the special department showed up and accepted the murder case, saying that it was related to the case they were investigating Then, the attorney hired by the Smiths completed the bail paperwork. That night they picked up Tanya and returned her home safely.
Brenda sat in the car and looked over at Nora, who was napping in the passenger seat. She pursed her lips. âIs this what you meant about our business?â
Nora yawned. âYes.â
Everything was going according to plan. Bail procedures were business as usual. No one could say anything.
Brendaâs lips twitched. âYouâre really dominant.â Clearly she was being let off the hook. Then, she smiled, âBut now, our Captain Ford is going to have a headache.â
The suspect in the murder case was released? To be precise, she was no longer a suspect. She had already been convicted. Morris was definitely under immense pressure.
However, Nora said nothing. She continued to squint.
The special department could handle the cases, but she couldnât let her friend suffer.
Tanya had been implicated because of her. Why did she have to go to jail for them? She yawned and looked at Brenda. âTake me home. Thank you.â
Brenda was speechless.
As she drove, she asked curiously, âWhen do you think the mastermind will make a move?â
Nora yawned again. âTwo days from now! If we catch him, the truth will come out.â
Brenda: ââ¦Youâre very sure of yourself.â
Nora ignored her words. She was already propped up in bed and falling asleep.
As Brenda led her to the Smiths, she noticed Justin standing in the doorway, waiting for them. The car stopped and Brenda was about to wake Nora when Justin suddenly motioned for silence.
Then, Brenda watched helplessly as Justin lifted the unconscious Nora and carried her upstairs slowly. Five minutes later, Justin came down from upstairs. Brenda said, âJustin, you canât really be a live-in son-in-law, can you, when are you coming back?â
Justinâs dark eyes looked at her and the mole in the corner of her eye blinked. He didnât answer and asked, âItâs very late, where did they go?â
Brenda: ââ¦to work.â
To workâ¦
Justin knew Brendaâs work was confidential, so he rarely asked her about her work. However, when he saw Nora tangling with her today, he frowned. âWhat job?â
Brenda blinked and replied flippantly, âThatâ¦is our secret~ I canât tell you!â.
With that, she got up and left.
When Nora woke up the next day, she casually picked up her phone and glanced around. However, she suddenly realized that an unknown number had sent her a message. âDo you want to know how you got pregnant then? I can tell you the truth.â
