Chapter 681

Five days later.

On the Hunt twins’ birthday, the whole house was busy since morning. The birthday party was at dinner, but all kinds of fresh ingredients were sent out early in the morning.

The mansion was busy but tidy.

In the parlor of Justin’s villa.

Cherry was wearing a beautiful dress.

Pete was also wearing a suit, looking very gentlemanly.

Xander, however, was wearing a casual outfit. He had a short sleeved white shirt and black pants with a red jacket over it. Whichever way you looked at it, he didn’t appear to be dressed appropriately.

The butler stood to the side with a small suit on a tray in his hand, pleading with him. “Xander, young sir, please put this on first.”

Xander reached out and pretended to grab it. He smiled and said, “Don’t call me that. Mr. Hunt and Miss Smith have yet to prove that I am their son. I won’t admit it.”

That’s right.

Xander had asked her that day, “Do you have any proof?”

Nora’s reply had been, “Not at the moment. But I had given birth to triplets.”

Xander pursed his lips. “But that doesn’t mean I’m the third!”.

Nora: “?”

She sensed that what he was saying made sense.

Xander turned proud. He lifted his chin and said, “If there’s no proof, I won’t recognize you as my mom. Even Justin might not be my real father.”

Nora: “…”

“So.” Xander lifted his little chin. “Show the proof if you want me to recognize you!” Nora realized that Xander had a proud personality. He liked to be begged by others…..

Powerless, she could only agree.

Anyway, the DNA test report was about to come out….

Because Nora was injured, she had remained at the Smiths for the past few days sleeping. Her form of recovery was through sleep.

Therefore, Pete and Cherry were at the Hunts.

Nora did not come in today. When she woke up, she went to the hospital to get Lily. She helped Lily by going to her side and urging her to finish the report quickly.

She would only come back when she had the report.

As it was, the people in the room awaited his arrival.

Xander looked at the door, his eyes full of anticipation. However, he deliberately pretended not to care. “Tsk, the report’s not out yet, so slow! Hey, is your girlfriend okay?” The last sentence was said to Justin, who was sitting on the couch.

Justin: “…”

He grimaced and suppressed his anger.

He had pretty much confirmed the identity of the little guy, and that was why he tolerated him so much.

Before Nora went to bed, she even reminded him to get along with Xander and not to provoke him.

Justin was afraid that Xander would complain to Nora. He really had tolerated it all these past few days.

He took a deep breath and told himself that he was her biological son. Only then did he go back to reading the documents on the computer.

Xander smiled and turned to look at Pete. “So your father is mute.”

Justin: “…”

Veins were popping out on his forehead.

Pete rolled his eyes. “Don’t go overboard. If the worst happens and the DNA report says you’re not his son, you’re in trouble.”

Xander: “?”

Even someone as bold as he was was surprised at these words.

He swallowed saliva and turned to look at the door. Suddenly he asked, “How’s your mom’s hand?”

Nora had been hurt because of him. Xander felt moved, so he found an excuse to ask.

Pete replied, “I don’t know.”

Xander: “…Can’t you call and ask, why are you so unfilial?”.

Pete rolled his eyes. “Who was the reason my mom got hurt, who’s the anti-filial?!

Of course, he had gone to see his mother.

It had been two days since she had gone to see the Smiths. At the time, he had even called Xander and asked if he wanted to go with him, but Xander had arrogantly turned him down.

“…”

The two children were about to argue when at last there came a few footsteps from the door. Nora came in with the DNA report.

Elsewhere.

In the foyer, Elderly Mrs. Hunt was holding Mrs. Livingstone’s hand and looking around.

Mrs. Livingstone said angrily, “Mrs. Hunt, that Nora is really too presumptuous. She said she wouldn’t treat Thomas. So, she really didn’t want to see him. We bought the appointment that had been booked by one person to shorten the queue so she could cure him, but when she found out, she cancelled it!”

Elderly Mrs. Hunt frowned and scoffed. “She must have been frustrated lately!”

When Mrs. Livingstone heard this, she was instantly curious. “Why?”

Elder Mrs. Hunt said, “That illegitimate son kidnapped Pete. He even hurt his hand trying to save Pete. In the end, that illegitimate son was brought home by Justin…she’s so angry that she hasn’t come to visit him in four days. Logically, she should be coming to see her son and daughter at their birthday party.”

Only then did Mrs. Livingstone vent her anger. “How nice! I think Justin was only interested in her for a moment. In time, with his bad temper, how is he going to put up with her?

There’s even that illegitimate son, Xander, mixed in. He kidnapped Pete this time, who knows what he’ll do in the future! This was a big problem. The kid had become the barrier between her and Justin for the rest of their lives, hehe!”
