A watchful Barbarian kept his eyes open.

In the United States, he had opened a safe only to end up finding a bomb inside.

Seeing that he had found what he was looking for, Epson asked, “You’ve got what you want, can I go?”

Barbarian, however, narrowed his eyes and sneered dismissively. The man looked like someone who rarely spoke, his voice as cold and ruthless as ever as he replied, “How am I supposed to leave without a hostage?”

You could only enter and exit the archives through the door; everything else was locked tight. It was true that you could only leave through the door….

After Barbarian got what he wanted, he grabbed Epson and headed for the exit.

When they reached the door, Barbarian put his gun against Epson’s temple and made him stand in front of it. Only then did he open the door and walk out.

As soon as he did, he saw Brenda leading a group of SWAT agents nearby. She eyed him warily and said, “Barbarian, you’d better put down your weapon and surrender. Do you really think you can fight your way through all of us?”
