Ever since the night Nora got drunk and made a ridiculous call to him to offer to buy his son, for some strange reason, Justin had been in a pretty bad mood the last few days.
This continued until he arrived at the Finest Hotel today for lunch. Chesterâs gossipy Chester had live streamed the dance party that was taking place downstairs.
He even sent him a video of the woman dancing.
Seeing the sensational image of her holding someone elseâs waist and dancing, attracting the attention of all the men around her, Justin got a little angry.
He felt so disturbed, and yet that woman was having a good time at the dance party and winning over both men and women?
So, he had saved the dance video for the road and walked out of the restaurant while counting down the time. Considering that she didnât like to do more than necessary, she calculated that she would probably leave right after she finished dancing.
Then, she found her jeep in the parking lot.
Sure enough, it didnât take long for the three women to get out.
Nora was a little dazed at this point.
Her nose was filled with the manâs grassy smell. His breath tickled her face as he spoke, making the atmosphere quite suggestive.
The lighting in the basement was dim, but the close-up of the manâs face was as if it lit up on its own, especially the cold look in his eyes and the beauty mark in the corner of his eye that gave off a sense of abstinence. In fact, it made her want to conquer him.
He raised his eyebrows and laughed softly. âWhat are you talking about, Mr. Hunt?â
At her denial, Justin lowered his head and leaned toward her ear. âHave you forgotten already, Miss Smith? Iâm afraid you canât afford to buy my son with only eight hundred million dollars.â
Fearing discovery by Sheril and Tanya, they both lowered their voices as if they were speaking privately.
Nora leaned back, but her back was already against the Land Rover, so she had nowhere to retreat to. So she could only sigh and say, âIs that so? How much are you willing to sell it for, then? Name your price.â
Justin held her waist with his big hand and laughed softly. âHave you ever thought of a way that doesnât require a single penny from you?â.
Noraâs eyes lit up, but just then she said with disappointment, ââ¦Stealing it? That doesnât sound like a good idea.â
After all, Justinâs strength was there for all to see.
Justin, ââ¦â
He found that the woman had sounded quite serious when she said that. So, had she really considered stealing his child?
Stealing someone elseâs child? What kind of strange habit was that?
Justin frowned. âYouâ¦â
Before he could finish, however, Tanyaâs voice came closer. âHuh? Whereâs Nora? Whereâs she gone?â
Along with their voices, the other two women started walking backwards.
When she heard them about to arrive next to the two of them, for some reason, Nora got a little nervous. Suddenly, she pushed Justin away forcefully and pushed him into a darker part of the interior.
She immediately came out and said, âIâm here.â
Tanya came over and stepped around her, âWhat are you doing here? Surely youâre not hiding a guy around here, are you?â
⦠Although she really was hiding one.
Noraâs cheeks turned a little red and she let out an uncomfortable cough. She gave him a slight push and said, âAre we leaving or not?â.
Fearing that Nora would actually leave her here, Tanya hurriedly turned away. âWhy are you acting so cool, Nora? I might fall in love with you, you know?â
Nora scratched her ears. âYour love is too cheap. I donât want it.â
ââ¦â
Only after the three women walked away as they joked with each other did Justin finally come out from behind the Land Rover with a cold stare. When he thought about how the woman had pushed him away a moment ago as if he wasnât worth seeing, he suddenly felt a little like they wereâ¦. Having an affair?
He chuckled softly. He watched the woman climb into the back seat of the car without hesitation and immediately leaned against it.
After loading his luggage into the car, a tall, thin woman returned to the front of the car. She immediately exclaimed, âNora, you are too much! I was stuck in the plane the whole time, and you still make me drive?â.
With her eyes already closed, Nora leaned against the window and said coldly, âI want to sleep.â
The other woman could only climb into the driverâs seat. Soon, the car was underway.
Only after they pulled out of the parking lot did Justin realize that he, a man who had always taken full control of his time and never wasted it easily, had actually spent ten minutes standing watching her banter with her friendâ¦.
However, when he thought of the expression she had made when she pushed him away in fright a moment ago, his frustrations disappeared.
Nora leaned back against the car seat in a rare moment of insomnia, unable to sleep.
She thought about what she had just done. She didnât understand why she suddenly felt guilty.
As he thought about it, his cell phone rang.
He looked down and saw that it was Justinâs number. He had texted her, âWhy were you being so shy?â.
Nora was puzzled.
She immediately replied, âDonât act like that.â
After sending the text message, another beep sounded.
Nora picked up the cell phone again and looked at it. The message read, âTell me why on earth you are so interested in my son. I can help you think of a solution that wonât cost you money.â
Nora was puzzled.
She replied slowly, âI just think heâs so handsome. I wonder if Mr. Hunt is willing to part with him.â
Beep.
Nora lowered her head and saw another message from him, âAre you thinking of becoming his mother?â
Nora curved her lip.
She was his mother herself. What did she mean by âbecoming his motherâ?
Wait a minute, wasnât there something wrong?
Nora looked at her cell phone again and saw that the man had sent her another message, âMiss Smith has a very unique way of confessing her love.â
Nora, â!â
Predictably, that man was being narcissistic again!
The corners of her lips twitched and she immediately sent him three agitated replies:
âYouâre wrong.â
âIâm not the one who wants to raise it.â
âItâs a friend of mine.â
After sending the messages, Nora touched her cheeks, which felt a little warm.
The corners of Justinâs lips curved into a smile and he let out a deep chuckle as he read the three messages on his cell phone.
Miss Smith was mentioning a friend out of the blue!
At the same time, at the daycare.
At four-thirty in the afternoon, the children who had snacked could play for a while as they waited for the rest of the children to finish eating so they could go out together.
Cherry had always been a picky eater. When she finished eating, she carried her small plate and handed it to the proferess. Her big, round eyes twinkled as she said, âMiss Lynn, youâve lost a lot of weight again today. You should eat a little more. Cherry especially left you some of her vegetables.â
Miss Lynn was on a diet, so Cherryâs words had certainly hit the nail on the head.
She was such a cute little girl â was there anyone who could resist her compliments?
Miss Lynn rubbed her head gently and said, âLittle Cherry is so smart! People on diets canât eat any meat, so I can only eat more vegetables.â
The other children looked at her enviously.
Unfair! Why was Cherry allowed to skip the vegetables? They wanted to treat them, too.
Cherry happily ran to the play area to wait. She was about to grab a Barbie when someone snatched it away from her.
Sinead stood in front of her with her hands on her hips and said loudly, âCheryl, didnât your mother say she was going to get a more professional dancer to give you an evaluation?â she asked.
âItâs been a week already, but she still hasnât gotten anyone â youâre a liar! And a show-off!â
All the other kids looked over there.
For them, Lying was a very bad habit!
Sinead scolded, âYouâre a bad girl! Weâre not going to play with you!â
