Dixen came out of car.

"May I help you?"

Rubina turned around. She was astonished to see the cop before her. Her one wrong move could have put her plan in jeopardy. She just gave a smile.

"Thank you, but I think I am done."

"Oh, okay. Check the ignition."

She put the bonnet down. She opened the door and sat on the seat. She ignited the car once. She twisted the ignition again and got the engine started. The headlights fell on the cops face. She was about to put the car in gear when Dixen came and stopped at the door. He knocked on the window. She slided the window down.

Dixen asked, "Where are you going to?"

"Well, it's an emergency actually. My sister is admitted in hospital. She is about to deliver her baby."

"Oh, which hospital?"

"I don't know the name. She has just sent me a location."

"Show me your phone."

She kept looking at him.

He said, "What happened? Show me your phone."

Dixen heard a sound and felt a moment in the trunk. He looked at the trunk. He took out his gun and pointed at her.

"Get out of the car."

He yelled, "Get out of the car right now."

She opened the door.

"Up your hands."

She put her hands in the air. She stepped out of the car. The cop instructed her to open the trunk.

"Open the trunk."

She went near to the trunk followed by the cop who had kept his gun pointed at her. She held the trunk. She opened the trunk. Hopkins was lying inside with his eyes closed.

Dixen asked, "Who is he?"

She didn't answer him. He informed his colleague on the radio.

"Unit 9-1-7. There is grey sedan parked on the freeway. The driver is a female. She has man who is lying unconscious inside the trunk of her car."

"We are approaching, over."

He asked her, "Would you tell me who is he?"

Hopkins opened his eyes. He hummed. He scratched his head and sat hanging his legs outside.

"Who just messed up my sleep?"

He stood up and went to Dixen.

He asked, "What's wrong?"

"Why you were lying in the trunk?"

"It's my car. Is it a crime to sleep in trunk of one's own car?"

"Oh. It's your car. Show me the papers then."

"Go, see yourself. It's in the glove compartment."

He nodded.

"Okay."

He went to the front door. He opened the door. He was about to open the glove compartment when his neck was strangulated by Hopkins. Dixen tried to get rid of him and was gasping. Hopkins held his neck and rammed his head onto the car. He placed his hands on the either sides of his face and stabbed his thumbs into his eyes. Dixen started groaning and screamed. He started bleeding from his eyes. Rubina pulled her hand gun out and pointed at him.

"What are you doing? Leave him."

Hopkins looked at her without putting his hand away from Dixen. He smirked.

She yelled, "Leave him. Now."

Hopkins pushed him away. Dixen kept groaning. He sat on his knees grabbing  eyes with his hands. Hopkins kicked him on his chin.

She yelled, "Stop!"

Dixen was groaning while lying on the ground. Hopkins walked towards her.

"You could have killed me earlier. You can't kill me until you get what you want, huh."

"Get inside."

He nodded. He scratched below his jaw.

He said, "What if I won't?"

"I won't take a second to pull the trigger."

"Really?"

He grabbed the barrel of her gun and placed it before his forehead.

"Shoot me then."

He closed his eyes and left the gun.

He said, "I am counting to three. Okay."

She held the gun tightly with both of her hands.

"One - Two - Three."

He opened his eyes and tried to snatch her gun but she dodged him. He held her hand s and pushed her towards the car. She tried to get her hands freed from him. He pushed the barrel of the gun and pointed it towards. She accidentally pulled the trigger. She was astonished to hear the gunshot sound. Hopkins stepped away from her. She looked at her palm which was drenched with blood. She fell on the ground. She was gasping. Hopkins smiled.

"Huh, good luck dear."

Hopkins got his eye on a truck approaching towards him. He sat inside the car and drove away leaving Rubina who was gasping and Dixen lying unconscious on the ground. The truck stopped at the site. The driver saw the injured people lying on the ground. He thought for a while whether to help them or not. He found it better to keep himself away from the matter. He lit a cigar and left. While Hopkins was driving he put his left hand into the half torn pocket of his jacket but he couldn't find the phone. As the rain stopped Rubina opened her eyes slightly. She had the keypad phone in her hand which she had stolen from Hopkins by getting his pocket torn in the fight. She opened her eyes slightly. She was gasping and made herself to stand up. She grabbed her stomach where she was shot. She opened the door of the police car and sat on the driver's seat. She ignited the car and drove away. A medical practitioner carrying locked his clinic locked his the main door of his clinic. He was carrying an office leather bag. He put the key into his pocket of his blazer. He was about to walk away when the police car arrived near the clinic. Rubina opened the door and fell on the ground. She was bleeding from the stomach. The medic was blown away by seeing her before him.

"Jesus!"

He took the key out, inserted into the slot and unlocked the door. Rubina was lying on the clinic bed. The medic was holding scissors in his one hand and the scalpel with the other one. He put the scalpel and then the scissors into her wound. He used the scalpel to made the way and took the bullet out of her stomach. He put the bullet on the slab. Rubina applied water and washed her wound by herself in the bathroom. She came out of the bathroom. She picked up her jacket from the table and wore the one.

The medic asked, "How are you feeling now?"

She hummed.

"Better."

She came out of the clinic. She accessed the keypad phone which she had stolen from Hopkins. She saw the message in the inbox, 'POOH AND BUNNY HAVE REACHED SAINT PETERSBURG. RED FOX IS THERE TOO. VIPER RANGE WILL BEGIN IN SEVENTY TWO HOURS.'
