Prateek showed him the file.
"Can't you see this? Do you even have idea who has prepared this investigation report? IB."
He threw the file on the table.
"The IB has clearly stated that you were the only person who was present at the moment when the car exploded."
"And you know who's car it was?"
"Yes. It was yours."
"So, what does that actually mean?"
"What?"
"Someone wanted to get me killed and that's why the bomb was planted in my car."
"Oh."
Aditya interrupted, "Miracle! And the bomb exploded when you were outside the car."
Vihaan said, "It's just a coincidence."
Prateek said, "No, it's not."
"What do you mean to say, Mr. Verma?"
"It's clear that you formed a plan to eliminate Mr. Subhash because he had came to knew that you are a mole in the Unicorn. You planted the bomb in your own car, set up a meeting with him and then made him to sit in your car. With an excuse, you stepped out of the car and didn't show up to him until the car exploded."
"That's not true. Have a look at my track record. It's clean."
"Dhiven was your ally, right?"
"Yes, he was."
"His record was clean too."
Vihaan shook his head.
"I am not like him. You are accusing me."
"You have already been accused of treason, Vihaan. Remember, you will be held accountable for your actions. Do you understand?"
"Sir, if you don't want to trust me, so be it. But I promise whoever is behind killing Mr. Subhash I am not going to spare him, and that's my word."
Prateek chuckled, "Are you listening to him or not Aditya?"
Aditya said, "Yes sir. He's just trying to fool us."
Vihaan said, "You guys have no idea how close we were. He was more than just a colleague to me."
Sameer interrupted, "Enough."
Sameer grabbed his arm. Vihaan pulled a taser out of a commando's holster and attacked him on his neck. He snatched his gun and pointed at Prateek.
"Vihaan!"
"Pardon me sir, but I have to do this."
All guns were pointed towards Vihaan.
Aditya asked, "Do you even have idea what you are doing?"
"I know what I am doing. Ask your men to put their gun down and step back."
"Don't argue, Vihaan. There's no way out. Cooperate with the Arclight."
Vihaan grabbed Prateek's neck standing behind him and put him on point blank.
Aditya yelled, "Vihaan!"
Prateek said, "Vihaan, we gave you one last chance to surrender yourself. The chance is gone now."
Vihaan replied, "How did you even expect that I was going to surrender?"
Aditya said, "Vihaan, just leave him."
"No. Neel, take him (referring to Namphor) with us."
Vihaan dragged Prateek out of the room. He made him to pass through the steel gate followed by Neel who was taking Namphor with him. He locked the gate leaving the rest of the men on the other side of the gate.
Vihaan told Prateek, "Remove the lid."
Prateek pushed the sewer lid away with his feet.
"Neel, go down."
Neel told Namphor, "Go."
Namphor stepped down into the sewer holding the ladder. Neel too followed him and stepped down into the one.
Vihaan said, "Sir, please."
"I am warning you again, Vihaan. And I believe you know what you are going to face in near future."
"I know the consequences, sir. Just go down."
Prateek stepped down into the sewer hole.
Aditya yelled, "Vihaan! You still have the chance. Try to understand."
Vihaan didn't respond and shot the gas pipeline which was passing through the wall. The gas started leaking from the pipe.
Aditya yelled, "Run!"
He lifted Sameer up on his shoulders with the help of a commando. Vihaan went down into the sewer. While standing on the ladder he covered the hole with the lid. As he started stepped down the gas pipe exploded. Aditya, Sameer and the commandos survived the explosion as they had already ran away from the site. Vihaan was leading the way to reach their place through the sewer. They were walking on the platform. The sewage water was flowing in the middle.
Vihaan asked, "Neel, are we going the right way."
"Yeah."
After walking almost a mile they turned left.
Neel said, "Take stairs."
There was a staircase on the left. They went upstairs. Inspector Louis was leaning against his car in a garage. He looked at his wrist watch. The wooden door at the corner started getting knocked. He went to the door. He opened the door.
"Mr. Verma." Louis said.
Prateek came in followed by Vihaan who pointed the gun at Louis.
"Hey, what's going on Mr. Verma?"
"Pardon me Mr. Louis, I can't help you out. I am too stuck in this situation."
Vihaan held Louis's collar and pushed him out of the door. He shot him on his thighs and kicked him on his butt. Louis rolled down over the stairs and fell into the sewage.
Prateek yelled, "Vihaan! Stop."
Vihaan glanced at him.
"Sir, your turn."
"What?"
"The guy needs you now. Go. Help him."
"Do you even care about the people around you?"
"No."
"Remember, when you were interrogated by Arclight, I was behind the wall looking at you and listening to your each and every word said by you. I had came to know that you will go to any extent to..."
Neel attacked him with a taser on his neck. Prateek was about to fall on ground when he was held by Vihaan who lifted him up and gently put him on the landing behind the door. He shut the door. Louis was groaning in pain while he was sitting on the platform. He looked at Prateek who was lying unconscious. He called him. He stood up and started climbing stairs. Vihaan held the handle of the shutter. He pulled it up and opened the shutter.
"Get in."
Vihaan drove the car out of the garage. Namphor was sitting beside him on the passenger seat. Neel was on the backseat.
Neel said, "This is a police car."
"I know. We'll replace it with the other one."
A tourist minivan was parked outside a cafe. The car was parked across the street facing the van.
Neel asked, "For how long we will keep staring at the van."
Vihaan said, "They have just gone inside. We have to wait a bit more."
Neel looked at his wrist watch. He opened the door and stepped out of the car. He went to the van. The van driver looked at him. Vihaan knocked on the door. The driver slided down the window.
He asked, "Yes?"
"I need your help. Can you see the car across the street?"
The driver looked at the car. He nodded.
Vihaan said, "The car is malfunctioning. I would be glad if you can help me out."
"Okay."
