"Gabrielle never mentioned to me before that she had friends in the city" The man grinned, placing his arm around the blonde's shoulder once again and inching closer
Gabrielle furrowed her brow slightly as she turned to face the man yet she remained silent
Her arm reached around to grab his as she removed his hand from her shoulder
Yet he still forcefully placed his hand back on her body
This time the blonde simply sighed and looked away
Ember cocked a brow at the girl as she looked between the man and the singer
"We only met a few weeks ago" Fallon said
"Really? Still, I'd expect her to atleast say something. I came back to the city a few days ago after my surgery-"
"First things first, who are you" Falling hissed
"Excuse me?"
"Where did you come from?"
"Um, home?"
"Who do you work for? Did the government send you?" Fallon raised a brow
"What are you talking abo-"
"ANSWERS, I NEED ANSWERS"
Ember placed her palm flag on her lips as she snorted lightly, trying to contain her laughter
She knew Fallon wasn't going to make this conversation easy and she was living for every second of it
Henry looked lost, like a deer in headlights who was confused by the Gen z humor
Ah, aren't they all?
He surely did look older than all three of them

"What my husband here is trying to say-" Ember smirked
"Husband?" Henry asked
"Yes, married for four years now" Ember said
"She was my baby mamma in highschool and now she's my sugar mamma for life, always providing for me and our children. I never work a day in my life thanks to this one. As she should" Fallon smirked as he leaned his head on the girl's shoulder
Ember chuckled as she ran her fingers through the boy's hair, ruffling it a bit
She even heard a small giggle from the singer on the opposite end of the table
The small sound was enough to make her heart swell in her chest
"Four years, you two make a cute couple" Henry smiled
"Thank you" the two best friends smirked
"Oh my god" Gabrielle chuckled, placing her face in the palm of her hands
"Tell me Henry, why is it that we've never heard of you before?" Fallon asked
"I've been working in Miami for the past few years-"
"And now he's hear to ruin what could have been the most romantic love story of them all" Fallon rolled his eyes
"Huh?"
"You got a facial routine Henster?" Ember asked
"A face what-"
"Ugh God, I just KNOW his Snapchat photos are filled with low angle photos. You can see zeus more than you can see his eyes" Fallon snickered
"Why yes, how did you know-"
"Called it bitch" Fallon snickered
"Atleast you don't have a better gaydar than me" Ember narrowed her eyes
"I'm very confused about everything that is happening" Henry frowned
"Me yesterday" Ember snickered
But that small comment caught everyone's attention, Gabrielle's neck snapped towards the girl quickly followed by the boys
Her eyes avoided light green orbs, knowing she'd find herself lost inside them again
Fallon bit his lip nervously as he looked between the two girls
"Oh, you were confused because you never seen me around? I'm sure my bunny over here has talked alot of me" Henry chuckled, pinching the girl's cheek lightly
"Nah, sis forgot to mention that little part right there" Fallon snickered
"Oh-" Henry said, furrowing his brows
"That's okay"
"There wasn't anything to say" Gabrielle mumbled
"The hell do you mean!?" Henry hissed
"OoooOoo what's the tea, the girl's are fightinggg" Fallon giggled
"Have you kept me a secret to your friends all this time!?" Henry asked
"It's very easy actually" Gabrielle glared
"I'd never do something like that to you" He said
"That's because I'm not yours to begin with!" Gabrielle hissed
"How many times do we have to go through this!?" Henry scoffed
"Until you get it into your disgusting cis white male brain, WE ARE NOT TOGETHER ANYMORE HENRY"
"Oop-" Fallon and Ember giggled, bringing their cups to their lips in sync as they sipped and looked between the apparent 'couple'
"We talked about this! We're going to try and make this work!"
"No Henry, you called me and said you're moving down here because you miss me. I hung up the phone and never said a word" Gabrielle glared
"Wha- i- THAT'S NOT TRUE"
"Didn't I have a restraining order against you?" she asked
"Wha- THE POINT IS-"
"There is no point. You waltz in here and tell everybody that we're together when we're clearly not. You followed me to the park, then the coffee shop. And don't try to pretend it wasn't you stumbling over my garbage can last night"
"You have no pro-"
"DO YOU KNOW HOW CREEPY THAT IS!?" She yelled
"God this is hotter than the time I found the perfect porno with no ads and a WHOLE Lotta tension" Fallon smirked catching a chuckle from the brunette
"You're so weird" Ember giggled
"Shhhh, let's watch the movie"
"I don't know how many times I have to tell you I love you" Henry pouted
"You could just stop-"
"But I love you Gabby! Please, why can't you see-"
"You belong with me" Fallon sang quietly to himself, earning a small chuckle and a light nudge on his shoulder from his best friend
"I'm tired. I'm so sick and tired of this one circle" Gabrielle mumbled
"We've been together since we were kids running around in bathing suits babe, do you really want to throw this away? We broke up because I had to work but here I am. I'm right here and I'm telling you, I'm not going anywhere. What is holding you back!?" the raven hair man questioned
It was a simply question, truly was. What was holding her back? It seems as though her Prince Charming was walking back into town and this time he was ready to face everything
Gabrielle wasn't lying when she said she had only dated one man her entire life. Hell, it was only one person she's ever been with
And that was Henry, her childhood sweetheart or whatever you call it when your mothers and best friends and pushed you and their kid together when you were smaller in hopes that you'd get married
They've always had a rocky relationship, they have their own mixed personalities and ambitions that neither ever agreed on
It led to their endless fighting all day and night throughout their highschool years
When college came around, they didn't hesitate to leave each other out in the cold
But they still kept in touch, almost as if they were stitched to each other with their souls
But it wouldn't work out in Gabrielle's head, the man was highly egotistical and had such confidence in himself that most would find uncomfortable
He moved away for his sponsorship and a new job in his uncle's shop and they had never spoken to each other ever since
But here he was, sitting next to her with his eyes all glossy and begging for them to pick up where they left off
So what really was stopping this 'straight' blonde hair and green eyed woman from breeding with God's three letter mistake he called a man?
Her eyes slowly drifted towards Ember's with hope inside, hope that maybe she'd find something in them that told her no, that told her stop. Perhaps to find something that would give her the confidence to go after what she wanted
Ember bit her lip as she took a deep breath in, it was all fun and games until her heart was being threatened once again
"Excuse me" she mumbled, lightly nudging Fallon on the shoulder for him to move
She needed to escape, both physically and mentally. Her heart had no idea how she would handle the thought of Gabrielle actually confirming her relationship with Henry, especially right in front of her face
The girl slid out the booth with all eyes on her, yet she didn't care. Her feet moved as fast as they could to escape a situation she found herself in
A situation she would remember for the rest of her life
