"Hmm, I still say cut the bitch" Fallon grinned
"This coming from a broke college student" Ember raised her brow
"Why do you have to REMIND ME. Gosh" He playfully rolled his eyes
"Maybe if you be nice, I'll get you a job in here" The girl said
"How dare you! I'm not your charity case! I am a strong, independent man who doesn't need a WOMAN to tell me what to do with my life" Fallon glared before crossing his arms across his chest
"Okay" Ember flashed a smile and continued back to her laptop
"Now now, wait a minute hunny. Let's talk bout that salary for a sec" Fallon leaned over the computer
"Such an idiot" Ember chuckled
"Yours" He grinned
"Yes. Mine" Ember giggled
"So what are you even doing, it's been three hours since you've been sitting in this office"
"What is it that you think I do here?" She asked
"I don't know, cut bodies open with a kitchen knife and sell their organs on the black market?"
".....yes but don't tell anyone" Ember grinned
"OooooOoo you dirty girl" Fallon smirked
"Yes papi"
"You should decorate this place, it looks like Justin Bieber's braids" Fallon scrunched his face
"I don't own the hospital Fallon" Ember chuckled
"Yeah you do, You're an Atkins" he smirked
Ember stopped in her tracks for a second before furrowing her brows
"Damn, I never realized that" She said
"You already have control over everything that happens in here" Fallon said
"Then I'll hire you to decorate"
"I love a friend who supports small businesses" he grinned
"And what business do you have?"
"Shhhh little one, don't hurt yourself overthinking" the boy placed a single finger against the girl's lips
"Boy if you don't get that nasty ass finge-"
"HELP. HELPPPP" a voice screeched through the hospital
the two gays furrowed their brows as they turned their heads to the direction of the echoing voice
"Ma'am, I'm not going to repeat myself" another voice said
"You might want to check that out" Fallon said
"Me?"
"Yes you, go practice your bossly duties" Fallon smirked as he placed his palms on the girl's shoulder, pushing her towards the emergency section of the hospital
"But she's bleeding!" the person yelled
"Ma'am, she has a splinter-"
"EXACTLY, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT" the panicking person yelled again
"Is everything okay here?" Ember questioned
alerted by the new voice, the panicking person turned to face Ember. Her brown locks fell over her shoulder as her green eyes met other green eyes
"My girlfriend, she's in pain" The person pouted
"Luna, I've told you a hundred times, it's just a paper cut" A blonde girl groaned as she approached Ember
Fallon and Ember smiled to themselves and lowered their heads, having to hold back their laughter between the two girls
"BUT IT'S HURTING YOU"
"It'll stop, for God sakes"
"Don't use my uncle's name in vane!" Luna glared
"Oh for heaven sakes- Hi I'm so sorry to cause all of this commotion" The blonde girl said, approaching Ember
"Oh don't worry about it, really it's fine" Ember grinned
"Aelia Green" the blonde stretched her hand out to Ember
"Oh I know, I've seen your shows, frankly I'm a big fan" Ember said as she shook the girl's hands
"EEEEEEEPPPPP" A squeal came from behind
All heads were then turned to face Fallon who's checks were flushed red and his eyes were gleaming from excitement. Ember chuckled to herself knowing how much Fallon fangirled over Ms Green
"And this is Fallon-"
"AELIA GREEN I LOVE YOU WITH EVERY BUCKET OF BLOOD IN MY BEING" Fallon squealed
"So do iiiii" Luna matched his squeal
"EEEEPPPP" the two hopped on their tipsy toes
"I see you've got one too" Aelia chuckled
"They're like golden retrievers"
"Gotta love them" Aelia grinned
"So what's this about a paper cut?" Ember asked
"Oh it's a stupid cut I got but Ms dramatic over here saw blood and scooped me up before I could say anything. can you believe she tossed me over her shoulder and drove me here because of a little cut"
"I'd say that's goals" Ember chuckled
"Can you please help her" Luna pouted
"Ofcourse, come with me" Ember chuckled as she waved towards the elevator
"You really don't have to-"
"Babe, shut up" Luna hissed before once again scooping her arms under Aelia's legs and hanging the girl over her shoulder
"LUNA AMON" Aelia yelled as she tried to struggle out of the girl's grip
"Hush before I spank you in front your fans" Luna said as she started to walk towards the elevator
"You wouldn't da-"
a loud slap echoed through the emergency section of the hospital, making heads turn towards the four adults. Aelia's ass cheeks along with her face turned bright red in huge seconds. to save herself from embarrassment, she decided to remain silent and save whatever dignity she might have left
Ember smiled to herself as she pressed the button on the elevator, the few were quiet for the short ride while Fallon grinned like a manic as he stared at the singer with heart eyes
"You tryna steal my girl?" Luna questioned
"Oh God no, humans weren't made for me" Fallon smiled
".....so you tryna steal me?" Luna asked
"Huh?" he questioned
"We're here" Ember annoucned as the elevator door separated
the door opened to reveal a hospital floor that looked different from the rest, the warm yellow glow of lamps and lights around again the brown leather couches gave the floor a more comfortable and homey touch
"Good morning Ms Atkins, is there anything I can do for you?" a strawberry haired receptionist questioned
"First aid kit in room 4" Ember said, the woman nodded and disappeared behind the desk
Ember led the few towards a room down the hall, eyes were glazing over them as they walked by and Aelia's cheeks couldn't burn even brighter than they already were
"Luna, people are stari-"
"let them look" the girl said confidently
"My god" Aelia covered her face
Ember pushed aside a door to reveal a cosy room, it's black leather cushion was pressed against a pearl white coloured wall. The spacious room was accompanied by a large round table, a fridge and a queen sized bed already made. Medical units and stations were set up all along the room
"You can take a seat on the bed if you feel comfortable there" Ember told the blonde girl
"No that's fin-"
"You better sit on that bed" Luna playfully glared
"I'm not going to sit on a bed, I'm already taking up space for other patients-"
"It's completely fine, this is one of our private rooms for patients"
"Wha- SEE WHAT YOU DID LUNA"
"A private suit for my girl who's injured sounds about right" Luna grinned, Ember couldn't help but chuckle as she headed over towards a desk
Her fingerd gripped the knob and pulled open a drawer filled with various first aid kits, she started to go through a few supplies before returning to the bed where Aelia had sat on
"You really don't need to go through all of this trouble, please give the room to someone else-"
"It's okay, I get it" Ember chuckled as she ripped open a plastic
"Think of it as a gift"
"Gift?" Aelia asked
"Your.. Girlfriend seems to have your best interest in heart. I can tell you if I was in her position I'd be way more crazy" Ember chuckled before bringing a clear liquid to Aelia's finger
"She just wants to make sure you're okay, and she was a passionate way of showing it"
"Exactly" Luna grinned as she brought herself closer to her girlfriend
"Oh believe me, she isn't from earth-"
"But you're my world" Luna whispered before brushing her lips gently against Aelia's cheek
"You two are adorable" Ember chuckled, her fingers clasped around the iron tons as she quickly pulled the small wood fragment from Aelia's finger, quickly applying a gel to the area right after
"That'll kill out any bacteria and help the swelling to go down" Ember grinned at the two girls
"Thank you, Ember right?" Luna questioned
"Yes, Ember" She smiled
"Whatever the bill is I'll deal with it-" Aelia started
"No no, it's okay don't worry about it"
"Nope, I'm not accepting that. You went through all this trouble for a stupid splinter, let me pay you for your troubles-"
"It wasn't any trouble at all, trust me" Ember chuckled
"Oh she's not going to take that" Luna said
"Ember. Let me pay you back-"
"Nope" Ember smirked
"That's it, I'm going to the reception to pay" Aelia glared, her cheeks starting to stain red in frustration
"She won't stop until you accept something from her you know" Luna chuckled
"I can tell"
"Ember, I wouldn't feel good for the rest of the week if I don't pay you back somehow. Do you want to be the reason I'm glaring at everyone?" Aelia playfully chuckled
"No, surely not" Ember smiled
"Then I'm sure there's something I can do, a favor maybe?" Aelia asked
Ember's lips parted to speak, there was no way she'd let Aelia pay for such a small thing. Their presence was enough to make her day and seeing the two lovers interact made her heart swell
It reminded her of the way she felt about Gabrielle. Constantly checking, worrying and in thoughts about the short hair blonde, it was apart of the job of falling for someone
With dark worries come bright smiles upon seeing the one you love
Happy and fulfilled with themselves, just as much as their devotion to you
Which only set off a bulb in Ember's head, so before she could refuse Aelia again, she had one thought come to mind that could change the future of someone special
"You know what, maybe there is something you can do for me"
