Hard and thick.
That's the first thought that runs through my mind when I feel it in my half conscious sleep induced state.
My mind immediately goes haywire and starts making crazy assumptions since paranoia is my best friend. Confused and slightly terrified, slowly I get up on the bed in a sitting position as I look at the thing through a blurry vision, picking it up in my hands. Since it's portable, it's definitely not what I think it is. Rubbing my eyes, I squint them to look at it to realize that it's a - banana?
What the fuck?
How did this even get here, on my bed?
My eyes snap up towards the direction of the door when I hear high pitched and hysterical laughter. And there they are - Ridge, Tanner and Em laughing like maniacs, clutching their stomachs.
I look at the wall clock. 7:21 a.m.
Seriously? Early in the morning?
"Thank you so much for such a big surprise." I scowl at them, putting emphasis on the big. I run my hands through my hair, then rub my palms against my face.
Ridge stops laughing, breathing hard but the grin is still intact. "Sounds like you had a good morning sweetheart."
"Look at her face man. She looked like she was actually enjoying the action she was getting." Tanner smirks, wiping his face with the back of his hand. "Man, we should do this more often."
My eyes narrow into slits.
"Oh my god, yes. Even if we die now because of the death glares she's sending our way, it was all worth it." Em exclaims, getting inside and throwing herself on my bed. Ridge and Tanner follow, closing the door behind them. Ridge sits right in front of me and Tanner pushes Em in the middle of the bed to make space for himself.
Thank god that the bed is big or else I would be pushed out of the bed, straight on the floor to give these morons their space.
I fall down on the bed with a sigh and throw my legs on Ridge's laps. "It's a Saturday. Don't you guys have to sleep?"
"Your snoring woke us up." Em mutters, frowning.
"Fuck you, I do not snore." I retort, glaring at her.
"Ridge starts running his fingers on the underside of my feet, making it tickle. The sensation makes me laugh loudly. I wiggle my legs to remove them from his hold. "No, don't do this. It's too early for that!" I laugh, struggling to push him away.
"Will you guys stop being all mushy please. It's actually too early for that." Tanner grumbles, scrunching up his face in disgust. "I don't want to burn my poor virgin eyes."
"Poor virgin eyes." Ridge mimics Tanner's words, making a silly face.
"Virgin?" I scoff. "Says the person who has fucked half of Washington."
"So? I have stamina, the looks and a big dic--" Em covers his mouth with her palm, effectively stopping him from spewing bullshit.
"We don't wanna hear about your joystick." Em glares at him and then removes her hand when she thinks that he won't open his mouth again. Ridge and I laugh at Tanner's expression.
"There's no freedom of speech in this house." He whines, putting his attention on his phone.
"I've already texted the group. They'll be here by 10." Em informs us.
"Good. Then I'm sleeping till then. Good night hoomans." I snuggle into the covers and close my eyes hoping that sleep engulfs me.

"Ah fuck!"
"Put it in."
"I'm trying. But it's really hard. I can't seem to find the hole."
"Oh my god, just find the whole Ridge. It's so damn easy!" I exclaim, running my hands through my hair in frustration and exasperation.
"What are you trying to put in, Ridge? Your hot dog into Lydia's mouth?!" Bruce's voice yells through the door, which is half open by the way.
"Fuck you, you dirty minded pig!" I yell.
Bruce enters inside, opening the door wide. "So, no sex then? Fine, I can come in."
Not even a second later, my dad walk across my bedroom but stops when he notices us, standing inside.
"Lydia, what are you guys doing?" He asks, looking at the frame in Ridge's hands, then back at me, raising an eyebrow.
"Trying to put this frame on the wall but Ridge can't seem to find the hole to attach the hook to the screw." I mutter.
Dad looks at us with a confused, incredulous look, then flickers his eyes to me and Ridge, narrowing his eyes slightly. "Teenagers."
He gives us another look then walks away."You say it like you popped out of grandma's vagina already an adult!" I yell at his retreating figure, causing Ridge and Bruce to snicker quietly.
I hear footsteps approaching, then see dad's face popping through the doorway, a disgusted expression on his face. "Please stop talking about my mom like that. It's gross and downright disgusting." And then he disappears again.
"Man, you are so much like your father." Bruce comments, shaking his head. "Anyways, I was here to tell you that everyone's waiting for you downstairs."
"Great. Let's go then." I mumble, taking the picture frame from Ridge's hands and place it on my bed carefully. "We'll put it up afterwards." Ridge nods.
Together, we walk downstairs, to see everyone including Whis cuddled up on the floor, arguing about which movie to play. Bruce sits in his place which leaves only one couch for Ridge and I. Since, there's literally no space left, I have to squeeze into the couch with Ridge such that I'm halfway sitting on him. "So, what are we watching?" I ask, grabbing two beer cans from the coffee table. I offer one to Ridge which he gladly accepts. I pop it open and take a sip.
"Confused about the Marvel series or the Maze Runner." Ashton frowns.
"I'm saying let's watch Maze Runner." Erica suggests.
"Because you want to see Dylan O'Brien." Eric scoffs, rolling his eyes.
"True." Neil agrees with him.
"As if you are not itching to see black widow." Kiara comments.
"Guys, guys! Listen." I grab their attention. "How about we watch the Hunger Games?" I suggest, earning murmurs of agreement from everyone.
"That's a good idea." Trish exclaims, getting up to put it on. Soon enough we are all pretty much engulfed in the movie, stuffing our face with popcorn and pizza and and almost finishing a carton of beer.

My feet hit something solid just as I pick up my socks from the floor. I crouch down to discover a box sitting underneath my bed, dust coating the top. I remember this box clearly. I kept it here when we shifted here. A nostalgic smile appears on my face. I pick it up and dust off the dirt and put it on my table.
"What is this?" Ridge asks, looking at the box. Everyone including Ridge is still here, and they all will be staying the night because tomorrow is Sunday and no one has anything better to do. Some are in the living room, some are in the guest room or some people like Bruce and Tanner are with my dad and Whis, playing in the lawn.
"Memories." I whisper, sitting on the bed, opening the box slowly. There I see them- pictures stocked right from the beginning. Pictures of me, then mom, dad and I, Tanner, Em and I. There are at least a hundred different pictures. All representing good times. Maybe I'll add some with these morons hijacking my house too.
"Can I see them?" Ridge asks, his voice filled with hesitation.
"Of course." I say and scoot closer to him and place the box between us. He smiles and then digs into the box, looking at the pictures, smiling at each one of them.
He picks up a picture and hands it to me. "What's the story behind this?"
I take it from his hands and smile when my eyes fall on it. "I remember this day as if it happened yesterday." The picture had captured me on a beach, laughing at the camera, hair flying in every possible direction. "As soon as dad clicked the picture, a wave of ocean threw me on the sand, face first/ It was all over my face, in my mouth, in my nostrils, my hands and legs but it was one of the best day of my life."
"Best day of your life?" He whispers.
I nod. "Yeah. Doctors had declared mom cancer free so we were able to go to Miami, because mom wanted to go there."
He gives me a soft smile and then gives me another picture. A picture of me and baby Whis. "Mom took this picture when they got me Whis on my 15th birthday. I had to beg for months for a dog. At first mom was a little reluctant because she hated dogs but then they surprised me by putting Whiskey in my laps. Happiest day of my life."
He bends forward and places a kiss on the crown of my head. "Your mom sounds amazing."
"She is." I smile.
"Is this your mum?" Ridge asks, handing me a picture of mom and I.
"Yeah." I respond, looking at the picture of mom and I in the hospital room.
"She's beautiful." He mumbles.
"That's the last picture of mom and I. She left us the next day." I tell him, taking a deep breath to keep my emotions on bay. "Tanner clicked the picture."
Sensing that my mood is dampening, He retrieves another picture from the box. "Who are these kids?"
A chuckle escapes my lips when I look at the photograph in his hand. It's a picture of Tanner, Em and I, grinning at the camera. It was taken when we were five. "The boy in the middle is Tanner. On the left is Em and I am on the right."
"Holy fucking shit, Tan was a chubby kid back then." He snickers.
"Yep, all the way till middle school. Then puberty hit him like a truck and he became the most popular boy of our high school. The same kids who used to tease him about his weight wanted to be friends with him."
He laughs, shaking his head. "You were so cute back then. What the hell happened to you now?"
"Puberty nicked me in the arm and ran away." I deadpan, not offended by his comment in the slightest. Because I don't need a man to tell me that I'm beautiful.
"Oops, so sad." His lips curl up in a fake frown.
"Moron." I roll my eyes at him.
"By the way, I was just joking. You are gorgeous." He gives me a dimpled smile.
I laugh. "I know. That's why asked puberty to contact you instead." I tease him.
A mischievous glint flashes in his eyes before he pounces on me, pushing the box aside and starts tickling my sides making me laugh uncontrollably. Laughter bubbles out of my mouth, making me gasp for breath. "Sorry, sorry. Please stop!"
He stops eventually,, but doesn't let go. "You're a little too much, you know that?"
I grin cheekily, throwing my arms around his neck. "I know."
He rolls his eyes at me, but smiled nonetheless. Positioning himself comfortably on top of me, he buries his face against the column of my neck, sighing deeply. "I'm too tired to get up now."
I let out a heavy breath, threading my fingers through his silky soft hair, massaging his scalp softly. A groan leaves his mouth, his arms tightening around my body a little. "Don't stop" He murmurs against my skin.
"I'm gonna charge you for this." I mutter.
Silence engulfs us for a moment before Ridge speaks up. "You already have my heart. What more do you need?"
