Scolding Behind Her Back

This ball of anger was stuck in her throat this whole time, so much so that she had a terrible temper even as she was working in the afternoon. She did not have a good attitude toward the employees in the workshop at all.

When she finally got off work, she was the first to rush out of the department and left without looking back.

Seeing Lin Qingyu’s abnormal actions, Jiang Kuo hurriedly tidied up the table and immediately chased after her. The two went straight to the small forest on the east side of the factory.

No one usually came to this place. Before, whenever Lin Qingyu experienced any unhappy matters, she would come over and kick a tree or two, throw a tantrum, and cry a little. After doing so, she would feel a tad better.

Jiang Kuo chased after her and saw Lin Qingyu kicking a tree in the forest to vent her anger.

“What’s the matter? Who made you angry?” He walked over and pulled her into his arms. “Talk to me?”

“What’s the use of telling you?” She pushed him away. “Don’t hug me. I didn’t agree to date you!”

“Okay, okay, okay.” He released her. “What happened?”

“Niu Hongxia!” She gritted her teeth. “Do you know how biased that woman is toward Su Hanyan? That impressive Qiao Chunhua came looking for trouble, but she managed to settle it. She even added the program that we canceled! What relationship do you think she has with Su Hanyan for her to actually help her like this! What about me? I made a mistake last time and look at how badly she scolded me then. She scolded me to no end!”

“Alright, alright. Keep your voice down; others might hear you!” Jiang Kuo gestured for her to keep her voice down. Even though the sky was getting dark, there might still be people in the forest.

If people heard this and gossiped about it, would she not be finished?

“I’m afraid of her?” Lin Qingyu raised her voice. “I’m not afraid of her! She must’ve received some bribes from Su Hanyan, which is why that girl managed to get in through the back door! That wretch’s temper has been getting worse these days, and she even dared to go against me!”

“Alright, alright… Stop shouting…”

“What are you nervous about?” She rolled her eyes at him. “Who will know who I’m scolding? They’re all getting food in the canteen at this hour. Who will come? Besides, I haven’t had enough ranting!”

At the end of the grove, Zhu Lin was picking up dry sticks. She was preparing to get the car workers in the workshop to use them in reinforcing her desk when, from afar, the racket drew her attention. She pricked up her ears and listened for a while. When she heard Lin Qingyu scolding Su Hanyan, she frowned and got up to leave.

She was about to look for her friend and tell her about this when she bumped into her on the way back. The latter was carrying a lunch box to the canteen to get food.

“Come with me!” Zhu Lin pulled her away.

“Where are we going?” Su Hanyan was confused.

“Lin Qingyu from your department is scolding you and your chief. That woman is really hateful. The previous time, she badmouthed you to the union, saying that you removed Qiao Shasha’s program. They didn’t even try to help! Now, you finally have a chance. Aren’t you going to confront her?”

“Really?” Su Hanyan perked up when she heard this. She rolled up her sleeves and was about to follow Zhu Lin when she thought of a good idea. “Wait, we can’t go like this!”

“What are you thinking? Are you going to get a weapon?” Zhu Lin gulped. “Are you that ruthless?”

“What are you thinking?” Su Hanyan laughed. “Even if I go, it will at most be a fight. If things go wrong, both of us will be punished. It’s not worth it for me to be punished because of her.”

“What are you going to do then?”

She giggled. “I’ll tell you later. Come, help me get some food. I’ll be back later.”
