Isabella POV
I open my eyes to a room that's spinning. I see people but can't quite see who, their months are moving but I don't know what they're saying. I blink a couple of times to stop the spinning.
"Are you in pain?", says- what I assuming is a doctor.
"No", I say in hoarse voice.
"Ok, how are you feeling?", the doctor says.
"Fine.", I lie. My back and legs are killing me. I wish the pain would just end.
The doctor chuckles. "I don't know if you're lying or if you just don't feel pain. Those injuries of your were quite serious. I will have the nurse drop by and give pain killers."
"When will she be able to leave?", I hear a voice say.
I turn my head so fast to see who it is. It's Enzo and Alex, both of them with a worry expression.
"She will hopefully be able to leave tomorrow.", the doctor says, leaving.
As soon as the door closes I ask, "How long was asleep for?"
"Three days.", says Alex.
"And Mars?", I ask, trying to sit up.ALex and Enzo see and help me sit up but that hurts my back even more so I lay back down.
"He left before we got there.", says Enzo.
But that's impossible, I stabbed him in the ribcage. I know he could have left but- hopefully he get treatment for that injury.
"There was blood all over the flood, but there was blood leading outside the gate. That's where it ends. We have people searching for him. Tori is also helping.", says Alex. "Lorenzo also has people looking for him. Don't worry, little one. We'll find him in no time.
"I don't think Lise was happy about the blood on her floor.", I laugh.
"Trust me after she was not having it. She was mad for two days. She scolded everyone in the house including me.", says Alex.
"And the boys?", I ask. I wonder if they don't where Mars is. Maybe we can find them quicker.
"They're find. They gave us useful information but they have no idea where Marcello is.", says Enzo.
I sigh. What am I going to do?
"I can take over onto you get better, if you want.", says Alex.
"Thanks.", I smile.
"Great, I'm gonna grab some food, want some?", he says. I shake my head. "You Lorenzo?" Enzo also shakes his head. "I'm fine."
He nods and leaves, closing the door behind him.
"I guess you know.", I say, looking at the ceiling.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you and Marcello. I couldn't find both of you faster.", he says, he eyes getting watery.
"Who cares, it's all in the past. It already happened and there's nothing we can do but just keep moving forward.", I say.
"Why didn't y'all say anything?", he asks.
"What would it have change? Nothing, it wouldn't have changed anything. They're dead and that's all to it.", I say. "You can't change the past no matter how much you want to."
"You could have told me.", he says.
"When?", my voice getting a little louder. "When I met you or when Xavier was being disrespectful or when you got mad at me for talking to Seb. Tell me when?" I feel my eyes getting watery.
"Bella I- Do you understand how I felt when I found out in what state you were in? Your ribs were bruised and broken, y-you also had a wound on your thigh, it w-was getting infected. And you bleeding a lot. I felt something break inside of me.", he says.
I grab his hand into mine. "I know, that you wish you could have done something. I know how it finds to know what if. But if you let that consume you, it will be worse than what if's. It never stops in the what if's. Soon you will think that it was fault. Don't let it consume you.", I smile. "I've been there, so don't go there. I'm here aren't I."
"Now, where are the others?", I ask, changing the topic.
"There in Alexander's place.", he says.
I scoot to the left a little and pat on the bed. He comes and sits there.
"I don't think, we both fit here, Bella.", he says, trying to fit.
"Who cares.", I say.
Knock Knock
Tori opens the door, the others are behind her.
"Sorry, we're late. We all couldn't fit in one car.", she says. "I brought chinese food."
"We brought chinese food, she means.", says Liam, pointing at all of them.
They put the bags on the counter, along with plates and forks. They really came prepared to eat.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say.", says Tori.
"How are feeling?", says Lise, holding hands with Marcus.
"Never better.", I say.
"You're such a liar. Anyone can tell you're in pain.", says Sebs.
"Then why would you say you're fine.", she hits my shoulder.
I hiss. "You can't the patient. Can't you see that I'm hurt.", I say, rubbing the spot where she hit me.
"Last time I checked you didn't have an injury on your shoulder.", says Lise.
"Right now, who's hungry?", says Tori, taking out the plates.
"Me.", Xander, William and Marcus say at the same time.
Sebs comes to the left side on the bed.
"Did you find something on the shipment?", I ask.
"Yeah, I've had my people investigate and I don't think it was any mafia but a gang. And also the note, where it said found you. I think about it, who is the only person we know that has a gang and is trying to find us.", he whispers.
"But we killed the son of a bitch. Unless he's immoral but we watched him died. We even burned him just to make sure.", I say.
"Unless that wasn't him.", says Sebs.
"We killed someone less?!", I whisper.
"I think that's the case. There's been rumors about the Latin has been getting stronger because of the marriage alliance what if he also joined.", he says.
"But's that's just a rumor, nothing's been proven.", I say.
He raises an eyebrow. "Things are getting dangerous, Izzy. We have to get rid of them and fast.", he say.
"Who's we? It's just me.", I say, I point to myself.
"Me and you. You really think you're going to do it alone cause if that's what you think then I think you hurt more than you ribs and legs.", he says.
I hit his arm, I scoff. The audacity to say that.
