As the wedding approached, Billy suddenly clutched his stomach and rushed to the bathroom, clearly affected by the laxative Leah had prepared for him. Standing at the bathroom door, Leah pretended to be angry as she scolded him.

“Billy Anstey, you’re always so unpredictable. Today is Liliane’s big day, and you’re behaving like this!?”

Billy, taken aback by the unexpected bout of diarrhea, couldn’t believe it since he had always been in good health and had eaten everything.

“Honey, I don’t know what I ate that was contaminated either.”

Feigning anger, Leah replied, “What am I going to do with you? You still have to escort Liliane on stage later. Can you do that in this condition?”

“Honey, trust me, I won’t mess up!” Billy promised.

Leah sneered inwardly, wondering why she had given him the laxative in the first place.

“I’ll go greet the guests first. If you haven’t come downstairs by then, we won’t wait for so as not to delay the program,” she declared.

Leah habitually deleted the chat history with Shane, smiled, and went downstairs to greet the guests.

‘You should know that Bradley, the man I’ve been longing for decades, is about to marry me now, and you can watch it happen!’

Liliane’s post was visible to everyone, and Esther naturally saw it. She looked at the elegantly dressed Liliane, snickered, and turned off her phone screen.

“Mommy, are you ready?” Felix happily ran to Esther’s side, carrying his backpack Esther reached out and held his hand, her expression filled with affection. “Mommy’s ready.”

“Esther, take Felix to school today. I have something to do, so I’ll leave first!” Bradley said.

Bradley frowned. “If you don’t have time to send Felix, I’ll have the driver do it.”
