Five years ago, nobody believed Esther. They accused her of being an ungrateful traitor after watching the surveillance video. Her denials were dismissed as cunning excuses. They never considered that they were helping the real culprit frame her if she wasn’t responsible.

“Esther, everyone has a motive for their actions. If you claim Liliane removed the oxygen mask, tell me, what would she gain from doing that?”

Billy’s anger grew after hearing Esther’s words. He had promised Faye to keep Esther’s true identity a secret. However, witnessing the animosity between Esther and Liliane, and their desire to destroy each other, his conviction wavered.
