Esther reached out and embraced Felix, speaking softly. âFelix, weâre going abroad to find Pixie now.â
âReally?â Felixâs eyes glittered as he looked at Esther.
âAbsolutely.â Esther held Felixâs hand firmly and said seriously, âYou still have a choice, Felix. If you want to go back to your father, Uncle Oliver will arrange it. But if you want to come with. me, you must promise not to tell your Daddy where weâre going. Take your time to think about it before we leave.â
After Esther finished speaking, Felix bravely declared, âMommy, I want to find Pixie with you!
âAre you certain?â Esther asked.
Felix nodded firmly. âIâm certain.â
Esther held Felixâs hand tightly and informed Oliver, âUncle Oliver, we can leave now.â
âThen letâs get on the helicopter.â
Esther and Felix didnât have much to pack as guests on the island. They simply boarded Oliverâs helicopter and departed from the island.
During the helicopter ride, Oliver revealed their destination: Macatus.
âEsther, I have everything arranged in Macatus. Once the helicopter lands at the airport there, you can proceed directly to the plane with your passports.â
Esther hadnât expected that Oliver had actually arranged a private jet with a pre-approved flight route to take them overseas. This was what it meant to be wealthy.
After completing the necessary procedures, Esther and Felix flew abroad. Esther wasnât sure if they would find Pixie overseas, but she had to try, even if there was just a glimmer of hope.
After seeing Estherâs flight depart from Macatus, Oliver called Jasper to express his gratitude.â Mr.
Searle, I wanted to thank you for your help with Esther. Iâll let you handle the project in Capitus.â
Upon receiving Oliverâs call, Jasper replied softly, âMr. Quill, I didnât do it for the money.â
âMr. Searle, consider it a token of my appreciation. Please donât refuse,â Oliver insisted.
Jasper understood Oliverâs intention and replied with a small smile, âI suppose I can accept it then.â
âYouâre welcome to visit Capitus anytime, Mr. Searle,â Oliver said.
âIf the opportunity arises, Iâll personally pay you a visit, Mr. Quill.â
After a brief conversation with Oliver, Jasper ended the call. He glanced indifferently at the data on the screen, snorted, and casually turned it off.
âBradley, the first gift has been delivered. I hope you like it.â
The Warner Group was currently eerily silent. Employees held their breath and tried to blend. into the background, fearing Bradleyâs wrath. They all knew the corporation was on the brink of an unprecedented crisis.
âMr. Warner, there are issues with the Smilville project.â
âMr. Warner, someone has taken over our project in Macatus!â
âMr. Warner, weâre encountering problems in Capitus.â
âMr. Warnerâ¦â
One crisis after another quietly approached Bradley.
The Warner Group was facing an unprecedented crisis.
A displeased expression flashed across Bradleyâs cold gaze as he asked in a low voice, âIs Jasper behind this?â
The Warner Group was a conglomerate, and Bradley needed to assess if Jasperâs ambition could devour it.
Several executives hesitated and looked at each other before explaining, âMr. Warner, itâs not Mr.
Searle this time.â
âThen who is it?â
