Long chapter ahead and the next chapters are pretty long to
Aqua struggled to find her way to the shooting range even when Aries was there to guide her but eventually they both made it about 5 minutes late.
"It's about time you made it." Libra had her hands on her hips and her face was twisted into a scowl. Virgo was talking to her new roommate, Gemini, a small cute looking girl with red hair, green eyes, and a faint dusting of freckles.
Aqua felt nervous to be around these trained people, she felt if she moved they would shoot her on sight. Scorpio managed to set aside his differences with Leo and was actually having a normal conversation with him without yelling.
A brown haired girl with pale skin was sitting silently in the corner looking very reserved and fidgety. Aqua walked up to her and sat down on the bench next to her.
"Hi, I'm Aquarius." Aqua smiled her biggest smile.
"I'm Pisces." She said in a quiet voice.
"Where the hell is Taurus? Late again I suppose?" Libra shouted while propping a pistol on her shoulder.
"He is probably having his pre-lunch." Leo laughed. Everyone laughed with him except Aquarius. A tall man barged in the door with a bunch of snacks tumbling out of his hands
"sorry guys, I'm here!" He laughed and rubbed his neck in embarrassment.
Taurus was a tall and lean man he had stormy gray eyes and dark brown hair. He bent down to pick up his fallen snacks, his hoodie scrunched up as he picked up the food. Aqua decided to help him and also kneeled down to help him.
"I'm Aquarius, but you can call me Aqua." She said while picking up chips. "Taurus." He said shortly, trying to cover up the blush that spread across his face.
"Move it maggots, training time! Grab your preferred weapon."
Taurus set his snacks aside and went to Libra "sorry I was late." He whispered.
"Stay after and clean up, understood?" She hissed.
"But I had to do that last time!" He countered but immediately slapped a hand over his mouth.
Libra shoved him against a wall, with the loaded gun pointed to his head "did I ask you to argue with me?" She had a cold glare in her eyes.
Taurus shook his head slowly. "Good, now go train, and if you say another word back to me this gun will have one less bullet." She backed away and turned to observe the others.
Taurus took a moment to breathe. "You okay?" Aqua ran over to him.
"I'm fine." He turned away and walked to the wall of weapons. Aqua tilted her head and examined Taurus curiously. He ran his fingers over multiple weapons until he stopped at one or rather two.
He picked up two beautiful duel wielding machetes, that looked dangerous to touch. Aqua understood now, each person have their own preferred weapon to own. She walked around examining others, completely forgetting that she was here to train.
She took notes on everyone. Virgo was practicing naming herbal plants and making medicines. Scorpio held a great long sword, which he was a natural at using.
Leo had two dual firing pistols and shot perfectly at the dummy. Gemini had steel knuckle braces lined with lethal spikes for added damage, she was also incredibly light on her feet, conducting flips and cartwheels to confuse the enemy.
Aries was up high looking through the scope of his sniper, with one loud bang the dummy had a massive hole right in its head. Pisces had throwing knives lined up in her hand, ready to penetrate anything in its way.
She shot them at the dummy with deadly accuracy leaving a knife in the leg, stop the enemy from moving, one in the arm, disable the attacker, and finally one in the head to finish the job.
She spotted a boy sitting in the corner with big black glasses, blond hair, and hazel brown eyes. He was viciously typing in his computer with utmost concentration. He was also mumbling as his eyes flew left and right across the screen. "And....DONE! YES! I set a new record."
He jumped up and shouted while pushing up his glasses to the bridge of his nose. "What's your weapon?" Aqua asked sweetly.
"Oh umm my computer is my weapon."Â He was caught off guard, not noticing the goddess like lady in front of him. "Well I provide information to the team, I hack cameras, alarms, and I also tell them where the enemy is." He said proudly.
"Interesting, thanks! I have to go." Aqua said abruptly. "Oh wait before I go what's you name?" She turned back to look.
"My name's Capricorn but you can call me Cap if it's too long." He smiled and waved.
She continued examining everyone. She saw two new people practicing together, a girl and a guy. She walked over and analyzed them. The guy had black hair and a goldish coloring to his eye, he looked fairly young, the same age as about everyone in here.
The girl was small and look fragile but she hit the bag like it was her last punch. She had a slender and small body her chocolate hair was up in a high ponytail, with wisps of it escaping from the hair tie.
They looked similar to each other, similar nose, face shape, and eyes. "Their names are Cancer and Sagittarius, siblings." A voice whispered in her ear. It was Taurus and he was munching on some snacks.
"What? I'm having a snack break." He shrugged his shoulders and continued chewing.
"They are called the deadly duo around here, they are never alone on the battlefield." Taurus explained with his mouth full
. "What do they specialize in?" Aqua asked as she continued to stare at them.
Cancer was gracefully moving around the bag kicking and punching the life out of it. Sagittarius was following up with a flurry of punches and kicks of his own.
"They use bare hands." He smirked. "What?" Aqua questioned. "They are trained in the art of Karate, Tai Kwan Do, and Jujitsu, it's some powerful stuff if your trained right."
"Cancer can make a large dent in a cinder block and walk away unhurt, Sag holds the record for most punches in one minute."
"Damn." Aqua breathed. Taurus agreed.
"What are you lazy fatasses doing just waltzing around like this is some playground." Libra growled.
Taurus gulped and extended his hand "chips?" He said in a quivering voice. Aqua held in the urge to laugh.
Libra grabbed the bag of chips and threw them on the ground "get back to training." She gritted her teeth. Taurus jogged away and continued his training. "And you, where is your weapon?" Libra asked with a long finger digging into Aqua's chest.
"I didn't choose one yet." Aqua said simply.
"What! were you waiting for an invitation, or do you want everyone to see?" "Everyone gather around let's watch Aquarius choose her weapon." Libra said in a taunting voice.
Aquarius didn't like being stared at she could feel all the judgement from everyone. Aqua looked at the menacing wall of weapons that extended a good meter or two. "Well...let's pick a weapon." She said in a trembling voice.
