Aquarius and Taurus sat together in a pretty fancy restaurant. So fancy that Aqua felt underdressed.
"Sorry if this is too fancy, but it has the best food." Taurus's face dropped.
"No no! It's completely fine, I'm more worried about how expensive the food is going to be." She put her hand on his shoulder.
"Oh don't worry about the money, I'm a regular customer, I get discounts." He pointed at himself with his thumb. Aquarius giggled.
Taurus was so sweet she wanted to be with him all the time. "So would you like to order?" The waiter said. Taurus looked up at the waiter and opened his mouth.
The waiter look familiar and definitely had a fake mustache on. Taurus closed his mouth and smiled. "Cap, what are you doing here? Do you work here?" Taurus teased.
"Shhh, don't say anything, I need to get money somehow right?!" Cap ripped his fake mustache off, and winced at the stinging sensation.
He didn't have his glasses on, it made him look younger, and his hair was combed neatly as he wore a fancy vest that hugged his slender body.
"Ok, sir, we would like to order." Taurus sneered.
"What would you like?" Cap cleared his throat and said.
He pulled at his bow tie uncomfortably. "I will take a Mountain Dew with ice, and the steak, medium rare." Taurus looked at Aqua for her order.
"Um, I will take a glass of coke no ice, and the shrimp Alfredo." Aqua smiled as he took the order.
Cap squinted very hard while writing down the order. After he wrote it down he plucked the paper from the notepad and showed it to them.
"This says what you ordered right?" Cap whispered. Aqua read it, it was sloppy but it said the right thing, she nodded.
"Ok good, your drinks will be her momentarily." He walked off to give the order to the chef.
"Cap needs to get contacts, he looks way better without glasses." Taurus suggested.
"Why no ice? It's like ninety degrees outside." Taurus scoffed.
Aqua raised an eyebrow. "If you add ice the amount of drink you get is way less then you're supposed to, the ice makes it look full, if you don't add ice you get much more drink for the same price." She explained.
"Point noted." Taurus laughed.
Cap came back with the drinks in his hand. "For the gentleman, Mountain Dew with ice. For the lady, coke no ice." He placed the drinks in front of them.
"Sorry I have to talk professionally" he said while making air quotes with his fingers.
"Your food is almost done." He updated and went to check on the food.
"So, where did you live?" He asked taking a sip of his drink.
"I lived in a small village, In the same mountains." Aqua answered.
"How did your parents let you come all the way out here, yourself?" Taurus propped his head up with his hand.
"Well, they didn't. Me, Virgo, and Scorpio kind of ran away." She shrugged.
"Oh, do you think they are looking for you?"
"I mean, my mom probably is."
My dad well he got infected and died." Aqua said sadly.
"I'm sorry, I understand both my parents died from the virus, in fact everyone who lives here are orphans." Taurus gave a small smile.
"You food has arrived." Cap interrupted.
"Oh thank god I'm starving." Taurus said dramatically.
"Your always hungry." Cap mumbled. He placed the plates of food in front of them, Taurus was practically drooling over the sight of the beautiful pan-seared steak, the inside was a perfect medium rare. Aqua's Alfredo looked delicious as well the sauce dribbling of the sides and being absorbed by the perfectly cooked shrimp.
"Well, let's eat!" Taurus grabbed his fork and knife like they were his weapons and dug into his steak, the knife neatly cut through the meat, and was so tender it almost melted off his fork.
"Oh I'm in heaven." He gave a sinful moan.
"You say that to everything that's good!" Cap shouted, and stop making food so sexual.
"You! Waiter boy, get over here, take zis order." A man with a French accent called.
Cap sighed and obeyed. Aqua was eating her Alfredo, it had been awhile since she last had a good meal. The shrimp melted in her mouth and felt it with a rich sweetness. "Mmm." She said in the back of her throat. "Good right?" Taurus asked, he was almost done with his steak. Aqua nodded and continued eating.
"Oh that was so good! You know how to treat a lady to dinner." Aqua rubbed her stomach while walking next to him down the street.
"Enough room for dessert?" Taurus smiled and pointed at the nearby ice cream stand.
"I can make room." Aqua gave a smirk and tugged him.
"Two cones please." He told the vender.
"Taurus my good bud, of course, looks like you got yourself a girl! A stunner too!" He chuckled.
"No it's not like th-." He was cut off by the vender.
"No no you don't need to talk it's alright, it's about time you got yourself a girlfriend. Anyway what flavors?" He looked at Aquarius.
"Mint chocolate chip please, it's my favorite." Aqua almost drooled at the sight of the sweet and creamy ice cream being handed to her.
"I will have Rocky road." Taurus licked his lips at the ice cream.
"Here you are." He gave the vendor five bucks.
"No, it's on me, just for your girlfriend." He slid the money back the other way. Taurus slapped his hand to his forehead and sighed.
"Thanks." He said sarcastically. The vender waved goodbye.
"Wow that was....interesting." She said with a pause. Taurus blushed, he turned the other way and frantically tried to rid of the blush. Aqua was licking her ice cream delicately, savoring each bite.
Taurus found that watching her lick the ice cream was a big issue for him. Shit he thought. He tried to cover up his feelings with his ice cream, shoving it down as fast as possible. "Hey slow down you might get-" she was interrupted by Taurus. "ARRRGH, BRAIN FREEZE." He clutched his head, and cursed colorfully.
Aqua held her ice cream in her left hand and place her right on his forehead, moving away the strands of hair. "Warm right?" She gave a warming look. Aqua had realized his hair was silky soft, like he had just washed it, soon enough her fingers were tangled in it.
Taurus couldn't hide the blush that rose again as she fluffed his hair.
"So soft." She whispered. "Like the snow." Taurus's eyes widened.
She misses the snow, she misses the outside. He thought. She came back to her senses and scooted away. "Sorry." She mumbled. Taurus took her hand in his and squeezed. Aqua felt sparks inside her and her face began to warm.
She stared into his grey soot colored eyes. They reminded her of the smoke from chimneys. "Aqua do you miss your family?" He said quietly and neared her. She nodded, she felt tears threaten to fall, she couldn't cry, nobody had seen her cry not even Virgo.
She wanted him to stop talking about this, but her throat clogged up. "Do you miss the outside?" He continued in a soft and supporting voice.
She felt her eyes moisten even further. \ "Do you miss your father? The world down there?" He tightened his grip, he could feel her drifting away.
Flashbacks hit her in the face. She couldn't hold these tears in not like the other ones. One tear fell, like a crack in a dam, the rest leaked, the crack extending. Finally, the crack gave out and her stone dam shattered into pieces. She cried and weeped.
The tears fell in rivers, wetting her face and dress. Taurus felt his heart hurt for her. "I'm sorry." He regretted all he said and pulled her in for a big hug. She smelled of sweet perfume that tingled his nose.
She continued sobbing over his shoulder. He tried leaning back but Aqua held onto him and cried into his neck. He could feel her tears wetting his shirt collar.
" Sorry about your shirt." She sniffled as her tears stopped flowing and the dam started rebuilding itself.
He leaned back and faced her. Her beautiful face stained with salty tears. He slid a hand down her cheek wiping away the tears that stayed, then the other. "Did anyone ever tell you, crying does not suit you at all?" He gave a smile.
Aqua let out a small laugh. Taurus couldn't hold back anymore, he had the most beautiful girl in the world in front of him right now. "Stand up." He said. Aqua sniffled and obeyed, her ice cream still in her hand melting all over her hands. "
Oh I didn't notice, better not get any on this dress, it isn't mine." She fretted over the little things.
She looked up at Taurus and he leaned in, his mouth met hers and Taurus's hands cupped her face and passionately kissed her. Aqua's eyes were opened, still in surprise, then instinct took over and she shut them and responded to his kiss. His tongue asked permission to enter her mouth and she accepted, opening her mouth and welcoming his tongue with hers. He let out a small moan. He wrapped both his arms around her waist and squeezed.
Aqua had her hands around his neck and her fingers tangling in his soft fluffy hair. They finally broke the kiss and both were left breathless. Aqua noticed her ice cream fell to the ground. "Sorry! Here let me pay." She reached around her small bag.
Taurus stopped her hand and said "you say sorry too much." And once again his soft velvety lips collided with hers and they were both in different world, together.
